When I arrived at the hotel, I realized the double booking and I warned the receptionist from my arrival, 5 minutes after booking online. This is a business hotel on the edge of town. That said the reception were very efficient and welcoming. The room was fairly standard but with everything that you needed. The air-con was very efficient. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The bar staff were also very friendly and welcoming as were the restaurant staff. We ate in the hotel and the food. Even on the set menu was very good and well prepared and presented. Wines were modestly priced if you choose wines from the Loire area. Breakfast was a buffet but copious and delicious. I would use this hotel again were I to visit Saumur in the future.

A charming well located hotel with stunning views of the château from the quaint courtyard. Service was excellent, staff welcoming and very friendly. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I loved the close proximity to the town centre which is full of charm and character and the Loire across the road! The buffet breakfast was excellent served in a pleasant dining room. The sauna and pool area provided a great place to relax and unwind at the end of a days kayaking, hiking, cycling visiting the many chateau or historically interesting places in the surrounding area as we did.
