Bed College

In a completely unlikely contest, I was obliged to find a accommodation in the picturesque but attractive city of Namur, for the night. It was 19:00 at a cold January evening, I was already going to sleep under a bridge so reservation a room for this hour there seemed difficult. The hotel is located in the centre of the city, and the hotel is located in the centre of the city. There is even a common kitchen with all the necessary preparation. The TV offers a bouquet that I suppose is a base but with a catalogue of 47 channels anyway. The gardens are opaque, the hot and very clean shower, the toilets are washed fully and the equipment is generally good invoice. The location is located in a framework that is not without reminder the streets of a certain “Venezia del Norte” . For this price and the services that it results, I think BED is an alternative challengeing all competitions type IBIS and BNB.
Le Chateau de Namur

Last minute booking on a wandering trip with no agenda. Namur was not on the list of places to visit and it was by chance that we found the chateau on *********** as it was kind of on the way to our next destination. We arrived late to a warm welcome from reception and a room upgrade. The chateau is in a wonderful location perched on the top of a cliff top citadel that tracks its history back 2000 years and is surrounded by lovely gardens and woods. The room was spacious and first class, as was the service and splendid breakfast. Parking is free at the hotel and we took full advantage in the morning to catch the cable car from the summit of the citadel (a five minute walk to the cable car) to the centre of the old Namur town (6 euro return for seniors) a great experience to cap off a lovely stay.
B&B Hotel Namur

I was looking for a Hotel close to the station, and i decided to give the B&B chain ago as i had not used them before. The Hotel is about 3 minutes walk from Namur station, caution they are undertaking alot of road works so the path is a little uneven. I was welcomed when i walked into the Hotel and checkin was very easy. The hotel use a code method for room access which is more environmental friendly than the plastic cards. The Hotel is very new and the interior is perfect and very clean, my room was on the 1st floor and the room was quiet and had a nice big shower. My sleep was perfect on the 2 evenings i stayed, Breakfast is very good with a hot and cold option and they have tea / coffee is always available. As a bonus if you dont need room service if you are staying for more than 1 day you get a free €5 voucher to use at the bar. I enjoyed my stay and i would certainly use again for future stays.
Ibis Styles Namur

This hotel is the best and most spacious Ibis hotel I’ve been to. The decor is stylish and chic with well thought out amenities. Nice big room with comfortable beds and views. Breakfast buffet was simple but nice. Staff were helpful and friendly. My family and I are extremely happy with this hotel, I wish I’ve booked here for more than two nights.
Mercure Namur Hotel

Situated at the base of Citadel, the hotel had free parking space. We booked a king room with a bathtub that included. Unfortunately, the water pressure in the bathroom was insufficient, resulting in a limited flow that made the shower experience uncomfortable. Otherwise the room is spacious, with complimentary coffee machine and coffee capsules, check-in and check-out services are efficient. A good stop-over hotel, I would recommend.
