I highly recommend Ziyang BBQ and Yi Shan Fang; local taxi drivers strongly suggested these, and the food truly lives up to the hype—authentic ingredients, great taste, and affordable prices. The hotel is about three kilometers from Dali Ancient Town, so you'll need a taxi or an electric scooter to get there. The street outside offers stunning distant views of Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain. It's a popular spot for photos, especially around sunset when the colors are incredibly vibrant and layered. The hotel itself is clean and well-equipped. The toiletries are high-quality, and we even received a complimentary upgrade to a balcony room with a view. Free parking is also available. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you prefer a quiet stay."

"Out of all the guesthouses I've stayed at in Dali, Yiyun Shanshe is by far my favorite! The room was impeccably clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, making for a truly peaceful stay. The facilities were excellent – the air conditioning worked perfectly, the 24-hour hot water was consistently stable, the smart toilet was very convenient to use, and the blackout curtains were fantastic, ensuring I wasn't disturbed while sleeping. The biggest surprise was being able to see Cangshan Mountain right from my bed; the view was absolutely stunning. Waking up and pulling back the curtains to see Cangshan shrouded in mist instantly brightened my mood. The proprietress was so warm and kind, she even came to the intersection to help with our luggage, providing exceptionally thoughtful service. She also proactively recommended touring routes around the guesthouse and even upgraded our room so we could have an even better view, which was incredibly considerate. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Dali!"

"First off, a big shout-out to the owner! The service was incredibly warm and welcoming. They contacted us in advance and even came to the parking lot to pick us up, and parking was free. Once we arrived, the environment was lovely. Although the guesthouse isn't huge, it's very clean and beautiful. They even treated us to complimentary fruit and snacks, and there's an unlimited supply of coffee, tea, and other beverages. The recommended rice noodles and hotpot were also fantastic. We'll definitely be back next time we visit the ancient city!"

"The environment here is great, and it's super convenient, being very close to the north gate of the ancient city. The handsome guys and pretty ladies at the front desk are all incredibly thoughtful; they even offer lovely afternoon tea every day. The bedding is very comfortable, and even the tissues in the room are thick. The toothbrush is also excellent—truly, every detail is well thought out! 👍 The view from the fourth-floor rooftop is amazing, with Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake in sight. Highly recommend! 👍"

"Traveling with two kids, this hotel made our trip so easy and stress-free! They specifically arranged a room for us on the ground floor, which was incredibly convenient for coming and going. It even had a small courtyard where the kids could play freely and safely. The room itself was spacious, so we never felt cramped even with the little ones, making for a very comfortable stay. What truly impressed me was the instant hot water—it was there the second you turned on the tap, and the water pressure was fantastic, making showers super enjoyable. The hotel's location was also excellent, very convenient for visiting Dali Ancient City and Longkan Wharf, and getting to the cable car was a breeze. Our travel efficiency was incredibly high. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was served until 11 AM. Overall, our stay was relaxed and comfortable, offering great value for money. It's highly recommended for families with children!"

"A treasured B&B! The sunrise and warmth were both truly breathtaking. The luckiest thing about this trip was booking this amazing B&B. The experience was absolutely amazing! The rooftop sunrise was the most unforgettable surprise of the trip. No need to crowd the sights, just find a comfortable spot on the rooftop early in the morning and watch the skyline transform from pale white to orange before being completely illuminated by the rising sun. The whole experience was peaceful and soothing, and any photo you take could be a wallpaper. The room exceeded expectations: spacious and exquisite, with amazing light. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, even more beautiful and cozy than in the pictures. The bedding was so soft and comfortable that I didn't want to leave the house at all; I felt completely at home. The best part was the service. From check-in instructions to daily needs, the staff were incredibly warm and attentive, accommodating every request. Their attention to detail was truly heartwarming. I've already added this place to my list of places to stay again! Highly recommended for any traveler who appreciates scenery and comfort!"

"This hotel was fantastic, far exceeding my expectations. It's not far from Dali Ancient City, and there are shops and amenities conveniently located nearby. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and upgraded our room directly. The toilet had automatic heating and flushing, and the room itself was spacious. There were three usable desks and two sofas. We received complimentary fruit upon check-in, and breakfast was provided for our child. It's just a 5-minute walk to the seaside, which was incredibly convenient for taking our child out in the mornings and evenings. Plus, the breakfast spread was incredibly rich and varied. On this trip, we traveled from Lijiang to Shangri-La, and then to Dali, and this hotel offered the best experience by far. We originally planned to stay two nights, but due to a change in our itinerary, we only stayed one. Next time we come to Dali, we'll definitely spend two full days and stay here again. Erhai Lake is truly beautiful."

"This is a newly opened hotel, and from the outside, you can tell it's brimming with design flair. Once inside, every detail reflects the owner's impeccable taste. We visited just before the Chinese New Year, and the price was incredibly reasonable. To stay in such a beautiful hotel for that price was truly amazing value. You can pull back the curtains and sit on the balcony to enjoy the stunning beauty of Erhai Lake. I'm definitely not an endorser; I'm actually quite picky about accommodation, but whether it's the cleanliness or the ambiance, I wholeheartedly recommend this place! I was so busy cycling around Erhai Lake that I didn't even get a chance to take many photos of the hotel."

"Facilities: We booked a two-bedroom suite for our family trip. There were two beds outside and a large bed against the wall inside, which was perfect for the kids. Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy. Service: The staff were enthusiastic, and the young lady even actively helped us with our luggage. Breakfast: They offered rice noodles, soy milk, milk, bread, fruit, and millet porridge. Afternoon tea was also provided. Location: It's just across the road from the South Gate of the Ancient City, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. I regret not staying for three nights!"

"This guesthouse was the best part of my entire Dali trip. I didn't have high expectations when I booked it, but when I arrived, it was a huge, delightful surprise. 1. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and thoughtful. They directed us to parking, helped with our luggage, and were so gentle and patient. This was the first bonus point. 2. The guesthouse faces Erhai Lake directly, and you can watch the sunrise from your room. That's the second bonus point. 3. The room decor and facilities were excellent; it felt very upscale. Who would have thought you could take such stunning photos in the room? 4. The cleanliness was top-notch. When checking out this morning, I saw an auntie meticulously cleaning the floor next door, which made me feel very reassured about staying there with children. 5. Both breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious, and the latte was superb! Beautiful scenery with great food! We had to rush back today, and I regret only discovering this wonderful guesthouse on our last day. If I get the chance to visit Dali again, I'll definitely stay here for consecutive nights. If I had to mention any drawbacks, it would probably be the parking for self-drivers; the road in is quite narrow and challenging to navigate. Also, the soundproofing could be improved, but since it's right by the corridor, achieving complete quietness is indeed difficult. Overall, for me, the pros far outweigh the cons, making the minor flaws negligible. It definitely deserves a five-star review."
