"We checked into the Sky Seaview King Room, and when we plugged in the kettle's base, it sparked, emitted black smoke, and blackened my finger. My family was so scared they didn't dare to plug anything else in. After communicating with the hotel, we were offered a room change and a late check-out. They moved us to a Sky Seaview Twin Room with a slightly better view but significantly smaller in size. I discussed with the front desk that there was a price difference between twin and king rooms on the platform, and I felt the late check-out was justified, especially since my family nearly got electrocuted. However, the front desk stated that both room types were the same price and they couldn't control platform pricing, suggesting we contact the platform. Their attitude also made me uncomfortable. So, I contacted the platform's customer service, requesting to be moved back to the original Sky Seaview King Room. The platform customer service informed me that Sky Seaview King Rooms were only available on lower floors, or we could switch to a triple room without a sea view. We opted for the low-floor seaview king room. There might have been a misunderstanding between the platform and the hotel, as they then moved us to a triple room. From the exploding socket to the room changes, it took over two hours of hassle. All we wanted was to rest properly, but the soundproofing was terrible; we constantly heard people talking loudly in the hallway, and even on the lowest fan setting, the air conditioner's motor was noisy. The experience was truly awful, and I won't consider staying here again."

"Here's an honest review: **Transportation:** You definitely need to take a taxi to get around. The hotel offers a premium service for 100 per ride. **Environment:** Although it supposedly just opened this year, the floors and cabinets didn't look brand new, which was odd. I later found out that it had actually been operating internally during the pandemic, just not open to the public. **Dining:** Very inconvenient. There are only four restaurants in total. Three are outsourced and almost impossible to get a reservation at, and the one self-operated restaurant offers a 32% discount. **Service:** The service was the most frustrating part. It felt like the staff were all present, but I didn't experience particularly attentive service. As soon as I entered the room, there was no internet, and it took several hours to resolve. I also left behind a branded lipstick and my elderly relative's blood sugar medication, and they claimed they hadn't been notified. There's a very noticeable step at the entrance, which I imagine trips many guests. I think if this were in China, it would have been rectified immediately to eliminate the hazard. They did provide a birthday cake, which was nice. **Facilities:** I didn't get to use the swimming pool, and many areas, including the gym, were closed. Fortunately, there was a special discount on the price. If you like French style, you might want to give it a try. However, for those seeking the ultimate luxury experience, The Londoner Macao's The Manor is still the way to go. Overall: 4/5"

"I highly recommend this hotel in downtown Macau—it offers incredible value for money. The bus stop is very close, and attractions like St. Paul's Ruins are within easy walking distance. You can also catch amazing night views from the rooftop of the New Central Hotel next door. The front desk can help arrange taxis, and the ones they call are legitimate and handle payments automatically based on the exchange rate. It's clear the hotel management is passionate about their work and pays close attention to every detail, showing great patience with guests. When we needed to switch rooms, there was a slight delay, but they worked quickly to sort it out. They also genuinely listen to feedback. Their smiling service and excellent attitude are probably why the rooms are always fully booked. If I had to mention a downside, it would be the small rooms and tiny bathroom. But for two girls looking for great value, it's definitely a good choice."

"This is a very new hotel with excellent hygiene. The facilities are comprehensive, and though the rooms are small, they are very well-designed, including a safe and a refrigerator. There are 8 rooms per floor, and the ones facing the street offer a partial sea view. You could try requesting a street-facing room from the staff. There are many restaurants and a supermarket nearby. I think it's great."
