Key Terrace Hotel Seamore is a really lovely, modern and chic hotel in the south of Wakayama Prefecture. We stayed in a sea view room with Tatatmi area, and booked dinner at one of the two traditional restaurants within the hotel complex. First, the views are wonderful. Taking a relaxing moment at the infinity footbath, or a drink in the beer garden at night are absolute musts to enjoy the sights. You can also visit the underwater observatory, or use the onsen facilities. Some other reviews have mentioned, unfortunately, the place is surrounded by nature, and that means bugs. They're like cockroaches but not. If you're creeped out by things that scuttle, don't go to the outdoor onsen. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to Sandanbeki caves, and a five minute walk to the fisherman's wharf. A short car ride will take you to Adventure World. within the hotel there are lots of facilities for enjoying your night for families or groups of friends. There's also a karaoke room on the 3rd floor (book in advance). Dinner was phenomenal. We had a selection of foods from the region, including freshly caught abalone and a freshly prepared mackerel sashimi (the head of which they turned into a soup for us once the sashimi was gone). The buffet at breakfast has a mix of all Japanese standards and Western styles. There's also the delicious pastries of Tettei bakery inside the hotel if you wanna buy something for the drive back. Would go back and would recommend the hotel to friends who are looking for a great stay in Shirahama.

I went on a hot spring trip every year at a pace of about once a year, but I couldn't go on a trip all the time due to the influence of Corona, so this time it was my first trip in ３ years. I like the hot springs and sea views of Nanki Shirahama, and I have visited many times in the past, but I used the Shiraraso Grand Hotel for the first time this time. As for the meal, it was just the right amount for us, but I thought it was a little less and unsatisfactory for young people, and the rice for dinner was not white rice, but cooked rice. If you want white rice, you can offer it from here, but if you don't say anything, it won't come out. Besides, the rice bowl is a small bowl that I think is for children, and it comes out in a small amount, so if you think it is troublesome to refill it many times, you should tell it from the beginning. The employees were basically very customer service attitude, and there were only a few unfriendly people, but most employees 々 responded comfortably. ３ I stayed for a night, but I was slowly soaked in the hot springs and healed with delicious food.

I booked a deluxe twin room for three days and two nights, including breakfast and dinner, because this room type has a private bath and can overlook Shirahama Beach. Marriott's breakfast buffet is rich and has many styles. Dinner is Western style. If you want to switch to Japanese style It costs an additional 2,500 yen per person. I wanted to try two types, so I paid extra to try them. The taste and appearance are both good. The waiters are very polite and attentive. They will introduce each dish before it is served.

Get this hotel that I couldn't stay last time before the May holiday. It was a little early after arrival, so the children played in the beach and children's park. I stayed in a twin room with a dog. The same room for pets seems to be limited to the annex, and there is no bath in the room and you can't see the view, but the amenities for pets were substantial. I was a little worried about sleeping with a bed because I had a 6-month-old baby, but I was able to sleep well without worrying about falling because I attached two beds to the wall side! I was grateful for your concern. The hot springs also have crib in the dressing room, diapers trash cans, and children's chairs in the bathhouse, which is also helpful for families with small children. The dishes are buffet and there are quite a variety. Sashimi, sushi, steamed vegetables, roast beef, etc. Even baby food was placed. (12 months 〜 retort item) When I made a reservation from the official website, I stated that it was my wedding anniversary, but he gave me a commemorative photo at the restaurant. It was difficult to knead Da 々. Perhaps because it was a reservation via a travel agency, it was difficult to get the stairs with heavy luggage because it became an annex. Is the cute yukata on the 14th floor of the main building? I was disappointed that I had to be the above guests. Now I have a pretty cute yukata service everywhere, but there is too much gap in the hotel. The swimsuit dehydrator was old, and the lid was broken, so it didn't play its role. I'm just wearing a long-established name. The location is not good, but it may be better to take a shuttle bus to Shirarahama.

The hotel is located opposite the seamore, which is very popular among Chinese people. It is very close to Saki no Yu. The rooms facing the sea in seamore can see the seaside soup pool of Saki no Yu, so be careful when you soak in the seaside pool. It is conceivable that this hotel is very close to Saki no Yu, and the bus stop is also next door, but the bad thing is that this hotel is located on a hillside, and you have to climb up and down to get in and out, and it is hard work to carry large luggage. There is no free shuttle bus at the station, and there is no Chinese service, and the English at the front desk is not good, so I need to use translation software, so I rarely meet Chinese people staying here. Unlike the opposite seamore which is sought after by so many Chinese. Because it is on the hillside, the view is absolutely good. All sea view rooms, the public areas may have been renovated, the baths and bars are quite new, but the rooms are a bit old. The rooms have twin beds and tatami mats. The balcony faces the sea, and the mountain is below. No Yu sign. Figure 1 shows the location relationship between the hotel and Saki no Yu. The white building is the main body of the hotel, on the hillside. Picture 2 is the balcony view, which can be seen from all rooms. It’s not far from the beach. I got up early in the morning and strolled there for about 15 minutes. The sea breeze is not too hot and it’s very comfortable. It’s recommended to wear beach shoes in the morning and go to the beach to ride the waves and watch the seagulls. Saki no Yu will open at 7 o’clock when I come back .

The rice is inferior to the old Kanpo Center, but it can't be helped. Breakfast was very normal and the hot springs * were delicious. There is a paper cup and you can bring coffee back to your room. At the Kanpo Center, it was about 8500 yen with half board. Shirahama Onsen is suitable for people who want cospa because the inn is expensive. You shouldn't ask for service. It is cheap, so if you use it for consecutive nights, Cospa is good.

The building and facilities is modern. When we arrived the hotel, they will escort you to take the welcome drink first in lounge then the the lady receptionist will explain the facilities and show you the way to room. The hot springs is really comfortable and facing the town. Room is average as we booked the standard room but they do have rooms with balcony. Highly recommend! The dinner meal is served Italian and taste is yummy with quality. Morning breakfast is extremely delicious compared to other resort hotel. They serve fresh sushi, fruit, juice…… and separate three different sessions to eat. In summer, swimming pool is open to use & gym room is available. When we leave the hotel, two gentlemen help us put the luggages inside the car and farewell us until our car totally away from hotel. Really enjoyable the stay and recommend who come to Shirahama.

It was a family trip, twelve people formed a group, rented six rooms, the room can soak in the hot springs, while watching the sea view while soaking in the hot springs, very freehand. Because of the large number of people, I thought I would sit in the restaurant scatteredly.
