JJinshubaobaoFirst off, the location is unbeatable. It's about a 200-meter walk from Exit 5A of Xiaoshizi Station, which serves both Metro Line 1 and Line 6. Even before I arrived in Chongqing, the hotel proactively added me on WeChat, providing detailed directions and tips on what to look out for. They were also incredibly patient in recommending tourist spots and transportation routes. The hotel is close to many famous attractions like Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, Shibati, and the Yangtze River Cableway. When I arrived, a staff member actually came downstairs to greet me, personally escorted me to my room, and thoroughly explained how to use all the facilities. The room itself looked exactly like the pictures. Every single staff member was helpful and answered all my questions; the service was truly outstanding. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chongqing.

CCheng XiaoyiThis is a pretty decent hotel. You can proceed with your booking worry-free. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get. Service: The front desk was very helpful to get us checked-in early at 1:30pm. The cleaning and restaurant staff were also polite and accommodating. The staff will not pest you for 5 star reviews before you check-out. My kid left a soft toy behind and the staff was kind enough to contact me and mailed it back home. Cleanliness: good enough. Location: Prime location. 5-min walk to line-1 Xiaoshizi station entrace and Liberation Monument. The entrance of the hotel is just next to Westin. It's very easy to hail a cab although there's lots of traffic jam around. If you take the lift to level 1 and exit from the back of the build (reception of other hotels sharing the same building), you can reduce the trip to liberation Monument to 3 min. Facilities: Room is new and well furnished. There are fully equipped gym and AI-powered laundry/drying machines. There're 8 lifts so the average waiting time is usually around 2~3 min only. The room is quiet enough (I'm a light sleeper). The only noise is the beeping sound made by the smart toilet every time it auto-closes the lid! Suggestion for improvements: 1. place a bin inside the shower/bath room (bin in the toilet room only) 2. Install a towel hanger in the toilet room for hand-drying towel. 3. Install a marble slab in the shower for guests' own toiletries. 4. Give hand or face towels by default instead of disposable cotton wipes, which create a lot of waste. You can still request to the cleaning ladies and they'll provide those towels. Pitfalls: 1. Bathroom sink is shallow and easily splashes 2. Bathroom window to the room is too transparent for privacy! (a common impractical 'feature' of new hotels) 2. The lift lobby requires card to tap-out but not tap-in?

GGuest UserHonestly, the hotel's location is unbeatable. The subway is right outside, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Plus, major attractions like Raffles City and Jiefangbei are within walking distance. There are also great food options nearby – Chen Popo Hot Pot, and the local noodle and sticky rice cake breakfast were all delicious. The room views were also nice. I stayed in a smaller room first, then a larger one for the next two days, and the view from the bigger room was even better. My only complaints are that the air conditioning in the smaller room was quite noisy, though the larger room didn't have that issue. Also, the wet/dry separation in the smaller room wasn't great; water from the shower would flow towards the toilet, which was annoying when wearing disposable slippers. And the hairdryer! It barely had any power, making me increasingly frustrated while using it. I strongly recommend replacing it with a high-speed one; it wouldn't cost much and would make a huge difference. Overall, I was quite satisfied. The service was very responsive, and the excellent location saved a lot of travel time.

In terms of service, the staff are warm and attentive, from the thoughtful check-in guidance to meticulously planning sightseeing routes for guests, reflecting their genuine care. Here, you can savor authentic Bayu cuisine and experience a home-like warmth. In the morning, as the first rays of sunlight hit your window, you can stroll through the forest and embrace nature's bounty. The huge window offered a stunning view directly overlooking the Jialing River. It was vibrant with bright lights and bustling activity, but surprisingly, it didn't affect my sleep at all – though I know individual experiences can vary. Breakfast wasn't included, but there are plenty of excellent and affordable restaurants downstairs. Airport transfer wasn't provided, but a Didi Premier ride was less than ¥50. There was a washing machine available, but it had a slight mildew smell, so I decided not to use it.

The rooftop bar and restaurant have beautiful views, and the revolving restaurant offers panoramic views of the Jiefangbei area from every angle.

GGuest UserThe guesthouse has a dedicated butler who provides excellent service. They are very responsive to any issues, even replying and resolving problems in the early hours of the morning. From downstairs, you can directly see the Qianximen Bridge, the confluence of the two rivers, and the Grand Theater – the night view is stunning. You can even catch drone performances from the room, making for fantastic photo opportunities. Hongyadong is right next door, just a few minutes' walk away, and the night view from there is also superb. The bathroom in the room has a separate wet and dry area, and the guesthouse provides a full set of disposable toiletries, which is a thoughtful touch. There's also a single bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak while enjoying the night views of Chongqing's two rivers – it's wonderful. The location is very convenient for transportation; the light rail station is only a few minutes away. The room is well-equipped with all necessary facilities. It's a great choice for travelers. I would definitely choose this guesthouse again for my next stay.
