Chongqing Hotels with Parking

We were a family of four (two adults, two children) on a trip to Chongqing, and after much searching, we chose this guesthouse. It offered great value for money. The room was clean and spacious enough, providing ample room for our two little ones to move around. The host contacted us in advance to provide directions and important information, and also recommended some tourist spots and restaurants. The guesthouse's location is ideal; many attractions are within walking distance. Cloud Eyes, Yangtze River Cableway, Xiaoshizi Metro Station, Jiefangbei, and Bayi Street are all just a short stroll away.

This was my first time experiencing a smart room. As soon as I entered, the AI assistant, Xiao Du, greeted me. By simply saying ”Xiao Du, Xiao Du” twice, I could activate all the electric devices in the room, such as the lights in different areas, curtains, sheer curtains, TV, and music player. I could also ask about the weather in various cities and other questions I had. Even the toilet in the room was smart. The hotel also provided easy-to-use smart washing machines and dryers, which was very convenient. Check-in at this hotel wasn't done standing; instead, you got to sit on a sofa. This kind of service, even in many 5-star hotels, is usually only available to VIPs. After adding the hotel's butler on WeChat, any questions we had, whether inside or outside the hotel, were answered promptly. Once, while we were out, we suddenly remembered that we had to leave early the next morning at 6:30 AM, but the hotel restaurant only opened at 7 AM. I immediately contacted the butler via WeChat to ask if the hotel could pack several breakfast boxes for us to eat in the car. They actually did it, which was incredibly convenient. The hotel's design is very thoughtful, the breakfast is exquisite, the environment is comfortable, and the service is very attentive. Fantastic! 👍

Honestly, the hotel's location is unbeatable. The subway is right outside, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Plus, major attractions like Raffles City and Jiefangbei are within walking distance. There are also great food options nearby – Chen Popo Hot Pot, and the local noodle and sticky rice cake breakfast were all delicious. The room views were also nice. I stayed in a smaller room first, then a larger one for the next two days, and the view from the bigger room was even better. My only complaints are that the air conditioning in the smaller room was quite noisy, though the larger room didn't have that issue. Also, the wet/dry separation in the smaller room wasn't great; water from the shower would flow towards the toilet, which was annoying when wearing disposable slippers. And the hairdryer! It barely had any power, making me increasingly frustrated while using it. I strongly recommend replacing it with a high-speed one; it wouldn't cost much and would make a huge difference. Overall, I was quite satisfied. The service was very responsive, and the excellent location saved a lot of travel time.

🏮Located inside a renovated church down a long winding stair alley, this hotel was the definition of a hidden gem. If you didn’t know it existed, you definitely wouldn’t know it was there. The rooms were extremely spacious, with high ceilings, beautifully considered decor, and refined aesthetics. I’d say the rooms were way better than the pictures. ⛪️✨ 📸 The hotel offers a free travel photography service. You can have your hair/makeup/outfit done professionally for an additional charge but we wore our own stuff. Zihao (子豪) came to take photos of us on our second day and they turned out absolutely stunning!! The entire process took about an hour and he was incredibly professional, kind, and funny; and took the time to work with us through the language barrier using a translator app on his phone. You get a certain number of free photos, but we ended up buying almost the entire photo set with minimal editing from him because they turned out so good. It was one of the highlights of our entire trip. I will treasure the photos he took of my mom forever. 🍴 Breakfast is included and there’s a full service bar for guests where you can get free soft drinks and freshly cut fruit throughout the day. The hotel will also deliver a soup to your room in the evening (called night service? I think?) and it was really delicious. I have no photos of that because we ate it too fast. 😋 🧳 📝 The entrance of the hotel is a bit of a far- the nearest car drop-off point is Lingshi Alley No.8, Yuzhong Chongqing, and from there, you have to walk 3-4 flights of stairs down an alley to get to the entrance of the church. The hotel will message you ahead to help you with your luggage (and they’re extremely nice! Two of the staff helped us get our suitcases to our car at 5am when we had to leave very early 😵💫) but if you have any accessibility needs or difficulties walking up and down stairs, or just have a ton of luggage, this might not be the hotel for you 🚙😥 🌸 Overall, stunning hotel & amazing staff who you can message anytime on WeChat if you need anything. It feels like quiet escape in the middle of a super bustling crazy city. I would come back 100% if I was in Chongqing again. Thank you for everything!

This hotel is conveniently located near Guanyin Bridge, making transportation a breeze. While it's not the newest hotel, the room facilities are still quite good. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The staff are all incredibly warm and attentive, especially Jackie and Bella, who really made us feel right at home.

The environment and service at Xiannvshan National Forest Park Bayu Homestay are both top-notch. The guesthouse offers pick-up and drop-off services to and from the scenic area entrance. Upon arrival, you're greeted by a tranquil courtyard surrounded by lush mountains and clear waters. The fresh air carries a faint scent of flowers and earth. The guesthouse features a modern minimalist design, with wooden pavilions and intricately carved window frames; every detail showcases the unique charm of the local culture. In terms of service, the staff are warm and attentive, from the thoughtful check-in guidance to meticulously planning sightseeing routes for guests, reflecting their genuine care. Here, you can savor authentic Bayu cuisine and experience a home-like warmth. In the morning, as the first rays of sunlight hit your window, you can stroll through the forest and embrace nature's bounty. After nightfall, the guesthouse glows with warm lights, reflecting the starry sky, making you feel as if you're in a dreamland. Every moment at Xiannvshan National Forest Park Bayu Homestay is a wonderful encounter with nature and culture, leaving you lingering and looking forward to your next visit.

The room size is decent for travelers. The location is excellent, right next to Jiefangbei, and close to the subway. There are plenty of dining options around Jiefangbei, making life very convenient. Because it's right below Jiefangbei, it can be a bit noisy until 10 PM. Also, there might be some construction nearby recently, causing noise in the mornings, but overall, it doesn't affect sleep at night.

My stay at Le Méridien Chongqing Nan'an exceeded expectations. The hotel's design has a modern artistic feel, and the Rubik's Cube installation in the lobby is quite unique. Freya, a staff member, provided polite and prompt service. The room was spacious and very clean, all the facilities worked perfectly, and the bathroom amenities were of good quality. The location is excellent, right next to Nanping Wanda Plaza, offering a wide variety of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. Despite being in a bustling area, the hotel is quiet and peaceful, providing a stable resting environment. I highly recommend it to everyone; it offers incredible value for money.

Top-notch view! ✨ Just checked out and I have to rave about this amazing guesthouse! The location is incredible, only a five-minute walk to the beach. Evening strolls watching the sunset were so therapeutic. The room was clean and cozy, and the smart home features were super convenient to use. The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the entire sea view perfectly, and waking up to the sun in the morning was pure bliss~ The owner even thoughtfully prepared local snacks and a travel guide. The value for money is absolutely fantastic, I'll definitely stay here again next time! 👍

MIXED REVIEW — PLEASE READ IN FULL. First, the positives: the location and price are excellent. It is a boutique-style hotel with a distinctive colour scheme and aesthetic, which is what initially attracted me from the photos. In person, some parts of the corridors, carpet and lift area looked a little faded, but nothing terrible. The hotel is inside a multi-purpose building and located on an upper floor. There is no food provided, which was completely fine for me because there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. I stayed for two nights. I initially had some trouble getting the air conditioning to work. One staff member was very kind and helpful. When I had trouble with it again later, another staff member came down to assist, which I appreciated, although her tone felt slightly condescending. The room decor itself was decent, but the rug was a little dusty and the room did not smell especially fresh. It was not bad, just not particularly fresh. On my second day I joined a day tour offered through the hotel. I understand this was operated by a third party, but the tour itself was genuinely excellent. I had a fantastic time and would happily recommend that experience. Unfortunately, the most serious issue happened at checkout. One staff member had previously helped take some photos of me, which I genuinely appreciated, and she actually took them quite well. At checkout, she gave me a small gift bag and asked whether I would leave a positive review. I said yes, because at that point I was genuinely planning to write a positive and detailed review myself, including many photos. However, while I had my phone open, she took the phone from me. Within a matter of seconds, she selected five stars across all categories, typed a very short positive review herself, and submitted it before I had approved or even properly seen what she had written. I was extremely shocked. The review said something along the lines of “intelligent lobby thoughtfully laid out,” which did not reflect what I personally wanted to write and did not meaningfully describe my stay. What made this especially frustrating was that I had already told her I wanted to write a detailed review and upload photos. After she submitted it, I said I wanted to add many photos. Another staff member tried to help, but the main review had already been submitted. The first staff member also appeared to know that Trip.com generally does not allow guests simply to rewrite a submitted review. This entire interaction happened in under ten seconds while she had my phone. My issue is not that the hotel asked me to leave a positive review. I had already agreed to do that. My issue is that a staff member took control of my phone, selected the ratings herself, wrote the review herself, and submitted it in my name without my approval. I contacted Trip.com immediately. Their customer service took the issue seriously, contacted the hotel, and the hotel subsequently apologised and acknowledged that a staff mistake had occurred. Trip.com also helped restore my ability to leave my own review, which I greatly appreciated. I want to be fair: without this incident, I probably would have left a generally positive review with photos. The location is excellent, the price is very good, the hotel has a distinctive style, and the tour experience was fantastic. But hotels should never take control of a guest’s review. If a hotel provides genuinely good service, guests will naturally leave good reviews. A positive review written by the actual guest, in their own words, is far more valuable than a generic review submitted on their behalf. So this was a mixed experience overall. There were things I genuinely liked, but the review incident left a very bad impression and undermined my trust in the hotel.
