Posted on Aug 17, 2026|Senior Two-Bedroom One-Living Room 4K Projection Suite (Dryer and Washing Machine)
Guest UserThis hotel is really great! It's right in the heart of the scenic area, super close to Jiefangbei, about a 5-minute walk away. It's incredibly convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The room has two bedrooms, which is perfect for families traveling together. The washing machine is a washer-dryer combo, and they even provide laundry pods. You can just toss your dirty clothes in after a day of exploring, and they'll be clean and dry, ready to wear – so hassle-free! The bedding is also very comfortable. They offer two types of pillows: a tall down pillow and a lower memory foam pillow, both very comfy. The bed itself is large and soft. I highly recommend it! If you have any questions while out and about, you can ask the concierge in the group chat – she's super helpful and always answers our questions promptly. Next time I visit Chongqing, I'll definitely stay here again.

Zhixingyouwanshijie✨ **Ambiance and Design: Every Shot a Masterpiece**
The moment you step into the lobby, you're struck by its stylish flair. The white marble columns with built-in lighting, coupled with dim lighting and beige circular booths, instantly evoke a trendy, little lord vibe—perfect for a few quick photos with the kids. It definitely has that British retro feel.
🛏️ **Room Amenities: Quality in Every Detail**
The guest rooms feature a minimalist, sophisticated black and grey palette. What really impressed me were the lighting fixtures and bathroom! The stone-patterned pendant lights create a wonderful atmosphere. The bathroom comes with a dark-colored vanity, high-quality hardware, and a super-sized standalone bathtub.
👉 **Special shout-out:** The hotel thoughtfully provides disposable bathtub liners, allowing the little ones to splash around safely while this mom finally gets a break!
🍽️ **Buffet Breakfast: Satisfying for Both Adults and Kids**
The breakfast area is a definite bonus! They offer Western options like croissants, donuts, and delicate pastries, along with Chinese hot dishes, a live noodle station, and fresh fruit salads. The variety is excellent and everything is clean. I had two bowls of the freshly made noodles, and there were plenty of choices to keep the kids well-fed.
🏋️♀️ **Bonus Facilities: Stress-Free with Kids**
When traveling with kids, the biggest fear is dirty laundry. ArcLight's self-service laundry room is an absolute lifesaver for family trips! Multiple washer-dryer combos mean you can get all your clothes done overnight—super convenient.
If adults want to sneak in a workout, the gym is well-equipped with new machines and ample space, never feeling cramped.
⚠️ **Summary**
ArcLight Hotel truly strikes the perfect balance between 'ambiance' and 'kid-friendly comfort.' The public areas are beautifully designed, the room details are on point, and the facilities are comprehensive. If you're looking for a stay in Chongqing that's both stylish and hassle-free, this place is worth a second visit! 💯

Guest UserHonestly, the hotel's location is unbeatable. The subway is right outside, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Plus, major attractions like Raffles City and Jiefangbei are within walking distance. There are also great food options nearby – Chen Popo Hot Pot, and the local noodle and sticky rice cake breakfast were all delicious. The room views were also nice. I stayed in a smaller room first, then a larger one for the next two days, and the view from the bigger room was even better.
My only complaints are that the air conditioning in the smaller room was quite noisy, though the larger room didn't have that issue. Also, the wet/dry separation in the smaller room wasn't great; water from the shower would flow towards the toilet, which was annoying when wearing disposable slippers. And the hairdryer! It barely had any power, making me increasingly frustrated while using it. I strongly recommend replacing it with a high-speed one; it wouldn't cost much and would make a huge difference.
Overall, I was quite satisfied. The service was very responsive, and the excellent location saved a lot of travel time.

Guest UserGreat location, dinner was good, but let down by malfunctioning hot water in the shower in 2 or the 3 rooms we booked. We had only ice cold water from the shower. Thankfully it was rectified. In one of our rooms (2005) the shower stall glass sliding door had come off the rails, and could East have fallen on guests, causing serious injury from the weight of the door and broken glass.
The check-in staff was very helpful, but the staff at breakfast on 6 Jan was quite unhelpful, and in fact started to argue about the prior breakfast arrangement our tour guide made with the hotel the previous day. Rather than saying she didn’t know and would check, she unilaterally decided the options were wanted (and had prepared the hotel for through our guide’s arrangements the previous day) were not available.

🏮Located inside a renovated church down a long winding stair alley, this hotel was the definition of a hidden gem. If you didn’t know it existed, you definitely wouldn’t know it was there. The rooms were extremely spacious, with high ceilings, beautifully considered decor, and refined aesthetics. I’d say the rooms were way better than the pictures. ⛪️✨
📸 The hotel offers a free travel photography service. You can have your hair/makeup/outfit done professionally for an additional charge but we wore our own stuff. Zihao (子豪) came to take photos of us on our second day and they turned out absolutely stunning!! The entire process took about an hour and he was incredibly professional, kind, and funny; and took the time to work with us through the language barrier using a translator app on his phone. You get a certain number of free photos, but we ended up buying almost the entire photo set with minimal editing from him because they turned out so good. It was one of the highlights of our entire trip. I will treasure the photos he took of my mom forever.
🍴 Breakfast is included and there’s a full service bar for guests where you can get free soft drinks and freshly cut fruit throughout the day. The hotel will also deliver a soup to your room in the evening (called night service? I think?) and it was really delicious. I have no photos of that because we ate it too fast. 😋
🧳 📝 The entrance of the hotel is a bit of a far- the nearest car drop-off point is Lingshi Alley No.8, Yuzhong Chongqing, and from there, you have to walk 3-4 flights of stairs down an alley to get to the entrance of the church. The hotel will message you ahead to help you with your luggage (and they’re extremely nice! Two of the staff helped us get our suitcases to our car at 5am when we had to leave very early 😵💫) but if you have any accessibility needs or difficulties walking up and down stairs, or just have a ton of luggage, this might not be the hotel for you 🚙😥
🌸 Overall, stunning hotel & amazing staff who you can message anytime on WeChat if you need anything. It feels like quiet escape in the middle of a super bustling crazy city. I would come back 100% if I was in Chongqing again. Thank you for everything!

CherrylinlinmaThis hotel is conveniently located near Guanyin Bridge, making transportation a breeze. While it's not the newest hotel, the room facilities are still quite good. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The staff are all incredibly warm and attentive, especially Jackie and Bella, who really made us feel right at home.

Guest UserThis was my first time booking a hotel in Chongqing on my own. I wanted to be near Hongyadong with river views and easy access, so I found Beichen Riverview Hotel. The price was reasonable, and I didn't have high expectations, but the room completely exceeded them! I missed the closest parking lot, so I called the front desk. The lady there told me the Cangbai Road parking lot was cheaper and even came to meet me there personally. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was high quality, and I got upgraded to a riverview king room – facing the big river felt amazing. The service attitude was excellent. It was a wonderful stay. I'll definitely recommend it to friends.

Guest UserLocation: As shown in Picture 1, it's just 100m from the Jiefangbei landmark. You can see it right from the window.
Room decor: Punk-style minimalist decor. The cleanliness was excellent; the pillows, sheets, and duvet covers were all clean, with no yellowing or wear and tear.
Housekeeping: Because we were out sightseeing, I thought hanging the tag meant immediate cleaning. When we returned, we found no one had come. After calling the front desk, they immediately sent a lovely lady to clean. She was very enthusiastic and efficient, always serving with a smile. You can tell from an employee's work ethic that this is a customer-oriented hotel where everyone is comfortable.
Breakfast: Lots of variety, you can pick what you like. However, I think the 'xiaomian' (noodles) are the best choice; you can't go wrong with them.
This is the best choice I've stayed at under 500 yuan.

Top-notch view! ✨ Just checked out and I have to rave about this amazing guesthouse! The location is incredible, only a five-minute walk to the beach. Evening strolls watching the sunset were so therapeutic. The room was clean and cozy, and the smart home features were super convenient to use. The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the entire sea view perfectly, and waking up to the sun in the morning was pure bliss~ The owner even thoughtfully prepared local snacks and a travel guide. The value for money is absolutely fantastic, I'll definitely stay here again next time! 👍

Guest UserMy stay at Le Méridien Chongqing Nan'an exceeded expectations. The hotel's design has a modern artistic feel, and the Rubik's Cube installation in the lobby is quite unique. Freya, a staff member, provided polite and prompt service. The room was spacious and very clean, all the facilities worked perfectly, and the bathroom amenities were of good quality. The location is excellent, right next to Nanping Wanda Plaza, offering a wide variety of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. Despite being in a bustling area, the hotel is quiet and peaceful, providing a stable resting environment. I highly recommend it to everyone; it offers incredible value for money.
