This is a historic building, and the two-story room is quite spacious. It's well-equipped with amenities like a hairdryer and an electric kettle. It also has air conditioning and floor heating. The owner is very kind; they picked us up from the high-speed rail station, and the service was excellent, including a generous breakfast. Location: It's very close to the main street, within a 10-minute walk to the county government office.

This B&B is super close to South Street. Just turn right out of the alley, and you're there. The room environment is great – clean and tidy. The soundproofing is excellent too, with soundproof doors and windows, so it's very quiet. The service was warm and welcoming; they picked us up from the parking lot and even reimbursed our parking fee. On the night we checked in, they gave us a map and explained the attractions, and even gave us a discount coupon for a restaurant. When we left, they gave us a souvenir. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

I was very satisfied with the guesthouse I chose this time. It's located on Pingyao's main street, super close to all the nearby attractions, just a two or three-minute walk from the Escort Agency and the Draft Bank. The guesthouse is very clean, well-laid out, and incredibly quiet at night – not noisy at all! I had a really comfortable stay! The best part is the price is quite affordable. Very good, highly recommended!

My experience staying at this hotel as below. 1. They provide pickup and drop off from the train station. The day before the Inn contacted me to make arrangement for the pickup. Then they arranged to drive me back to station on the day I leave. Service was efficient and prompt. Much appreciated. 2. I was able to use the washing machine to wash come clothes which was much needed. Comb and toiletries were provided. So grateful for these little necessities as I left mine at the previous hotel. 3. The boss upgraded me to a bigger and better room because it was the low season. The kang bed was so comfortable and firm. I had the best sleep so far at this Inn. I'm so happy. 4. The Inn is inside the old city and practically next to one of the city gates. Very convenient for sightseeing old Pingyao city. 5. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Boss also gave me a bottle of vinegar. Wish I could take it back to UK with me. 6. The price of this Inn is also very reasonable and affordable. 7. Pingyao is a beautiful, ancient old city. Worth coming. I highly recommend staying here. Excellent! I've been here for three nights and am still staying for a few more. The room is clean, tidy, and completely odor-free. The owner is incredibly kind. I cut my hand at Qiao's Family Compound and didn't take care of the wound. The next day, due to the hot weather, it became infected while I was out shopping, which really scared me. I couldn't find a clinic, so I called the owner to ask where I could find medical help. The owner was so nice; first, he told me there was one outside the North Gate, and then he quickly checked for information and called me back to say there was a Chinese medicine clinic nearby. He even called to confirm they were open. When I got there, they couldn't bandage the wound, so I had to take a taxi back to the inn. The owner was amazing and drove me to find a doctor himself 😭😭😭. He helped me get my wound successfully bandaged, preventing it from getting worse. I'm truly touched. The guesthouse auntie is also wonderful, a real extrovert (E-person), very cheerful and chatty. She's great, loves to chat, haha! The breakfast is also very good: steamed eggs, pumpkin, red dates, millet porridge, and steamed buns. It's very healthy. It's good to eat something simple and clean like this in the morning, much healthier than the spicy noodles we usually have for breakfast in Chongqing. This hotel, located within the ancient town, is a converted private residence built by descendants of Qing Dynasty officials. It's truly unique. We drove there, but cars aren't allowed inside, so we had to park outside the old city. The owner gave us very clear instructions for parking and then drove us to and from the hotel! The room had a distinct northern charm, which was quite novel for us southerners. The hygiene was excellent, and disposable towels, cups, etc., were provided. The hotel's location is super convenient for exploring all parts of the ancient city, yet it's very quiet at night, not noisy at all. The restaurant recommended by the owner was also fantastic, with reasonable prices and even a discount! Breakfast was served right in the courtyard, and both the owner and his wife were incredibly warm and provided exceptional service. All in all, we were very satisfied and have already recommended it to friends visiting next month!

Staying at this hotel made me read a history, feeling the precipitation of the years and feeling the modern nature. This stay experience is perfect and must give full marks! From the moment you step into the lobby, you can feel the professionalism and dedication of the hotel. The front desk staff smiled kindly, the check-in was efficient and smooth, and also took the initiative to introduce the surrounding scenery and traffic, which made people feel warm. The rooms are spacious and bright, the design is simple and stylish, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the night is good. The sanitary details are very well done, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the toiletries smell fresh, and even the corners are spotless. The sound insulation effect is excellent, completely free from outside interference, Chinese style, perfect, feel the details of the intention. The hotel's supporting facilities are also very complete, the breakfast is rich and fresh, and the location is a plus, located in the ancient city of Pingyao. What touched me most was that the hotel's hospitality really felt at home and was full of guests. This was such a sweet stay! Very pretty hotel, way better than the photos. The room was extremely clean and felt quite new. There was a western toilet and the shower had a curtain. The air conditioner was working great. The location is quite convenient, 10 minutes from a gate by walking, and close to the main street. The recommended restaurants were well priced and had great food, nothing negative to say about anything on this hotel. A lot of free amenities and they even gave me some specialties on the checkout! I wish I had stayed more time in PingYao, the city is very beautiful.

The staff picked us up and dropped us off by buggy at the main gate, which made everything effortless. The host was incredibly helpful and explained the best way to explore Pingyao Ancient Town. The hotel has a beautiful traditional courtyard style, but the rooms are fully modern—well-sealed windows, a big projector screen, an automated toilet, super clean linens, and a very comfortable mattress. A cold wave hit during our stay, and the host even provided an extra heater to keep us warm, which we really appreciated. We’re so glad we found this place and highly recommend it with confidence.
