The room I stayed in this time has been refurbished, and it is beautiful and the accommodation is quiet. I will introduce it to my friends next time. The boss is Chinese, very friendly, introduce what we go to, and the price is not expensive. The parking space is 10 points. .

I had the privilege to stay for a couple of night at the Riverview motel and it was a fantastic service by Dave (David). He was very professional and I can tell he's a people person and proud to serve anyone that walk into his office. Fortunately for me David upgrade me into a big room with a king size bed and spaces for one person. I enjoy my two nights staying there and would recommend this motel to anyone visiting Whanganui.

Luggage storage, Wi-Fi in public areas, car park, room service, business center are on the list of things guests can enjoy. Guestrooms are fitted with all the amenities you need for a good night's sleep. In some of the rooms, guests can find television LCD/plasma screen, internet access – wireless, whirlpool bathtub, non smoking rooms, air conditioning. The hotel offers various recreational opportunities. A welcoming atmosphere and excellent service are what you can expect during your stay at Siena Motor Lodge.

We stayed here for 4 nights as were attending the Colgate games. The room we had was a good size, nice new paint job.and had comfy beds; room had basic ammenities that you would expect and the nightly price was reasonable. The hotel is located close to town and there are lots of eateries and shops nearby. A few issues: there is no aircon and the nights were really humid, we had to open the sliding door all night to let in air. Bathroom shower needed a good clean as there was crime build up in corner of the shower. Breakfast was a let down, it came free with room but I chose not to eat it after day 1, stale croissants, overcooked eggs and coffee not good. If issues are addressed it will improve things a lot.

Very good riverside hotel, beautiful scenery, friendly owner, bathroom is recommended to install a retractable shower head.
