The breakfast is very good. Just by the river, I went out and the bridge was a very nice old town. It was very suitable for the photo on the shore. The room was not too big but the bed was very comfortable. The weather was too cold.

The hotel was amazing from room to the breakfast to the Spa. The location is also very convenient with old town walking distance and the boat tour stop right across. Marvelous view from the riverside. Lots of eating options in the breakfast buffet. The Spa was really fun both for adults as well as kids.

Breakfast is OK, the hotel is in a good location and it is very convenient to go to the old town. The bed in the hotel is not very good, a little small. The hotel arranges a pick-up and drop-off service and the arrangement is very good.

Facilities: The hotel lift is a sightseeing elevator, and when you rise in the patio that leads directly to the top floor, you can feel the wonderful view of the sun shining into the patio from the conference room window on each floor.
The rooms are fully equipped and the bedding is of excellent quality and comfortable.
The staff is warm and friendly.
Breakfast is plentiful.

GGuest UserA well designed large hotel, centrally located but surrounded by parks. Service at the front desk and SPA was very courteous and friendly. Breakfast buffet had ample choice. SPA was on the small side, enough for an hour long relaxation session. I’d be happy to stay here again.

Breakfast was excellent offering hot, cold and local food; it was late to open on the one day when we needed it most though, as we were going out very early. Staff generally very helpful and friendly.
Bed very comfy. Good radiators for drying soggy coats. Would stay again (and are planning to as well!).

SSandy86I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Metropole Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience. The highlight of my stay was the incredibly comfortable bed.I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to explore the city.
The location of the hotel is perfect, with easy access to popular attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. Whether you're there for business or leisure, the convenience of being in such a central spot is unbeatable.
The breakfast buffet was also great.
The staff were also attentive and helpful, making sure all my needs were met. Overall, I highly recommend the Metropole for anyone looking for a blend of comfort and prime location.

GGuest UserAn extraordinary building ; one of the most architecturally impressive hotels in which I can remember staying, with wonderfully helpful staff and a location that can not be bettered -- with a commendable breakfast. Five stars ! But then . . .
Beautifully configured and equipped rooms but, constraints on urban buildings being what they are, and the architects having elected a stunning central skylit air- and light-well, our room, at least, had no window. Where was one to be placed, after all ? The air-conditioning worked well, but truly fresh air was not available.
The housekeeping staff had neglected the bathroom attached to the room that we used. Hair, a cotton-tipped applicator stick, and -- simply -- dirt were on the tiles. This can happen. It was very different from the rest of the experience of the stay. But there it was.
Have a look around when you check in. Ask for a repeat cleaning of your room if you think one is necessary. Enjoy your stay.

MMukaddas KuzievaEverything was excellent, very clean hotel, cleaning every day, changing towels every day, so convenient location, a few meters beautiful park, where you can do walking, city center just 3 stops by tram, we bought 3 day travel pass for 8 euros, enjoyed our time, breakfast is amazing, thank you Chef and hotel management, it is worth 10 star hotel, it is true, amazing service, I will recommend and will come back again
P.S. Room we booked was very small standard :) asked for upgrade, but they couldn’t as high season and hotel was full

MMikeJMJonesWe were extremely happy with our stay at Hotel Justus. The hotel is located in the middle of the beautiful Riga Old Town, only a 3-minute walk to the Christmas Markets, 5-minute walk to the famous churches, and 20 minutes to the Art Nouveau District which houses some of the art galleries and museums. We stayed on the third floor in a standard double room. The room was spacious enough for a couple, had a well-functioning bathroom and also a comfortable bed and pillows. The room was well heated for the sub-zero temperatures. It has lifts. Breakfasts were delicious with both hot and cold dishes - scrambled egg pie, crispy bacon, sausages, fresh vegetables, porridge, pickled herring, wheat and rye bread, fruit and pastries. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing information for the major galleries and museums and even helping me find the Leica store. Before the holiday, manager, Einars was extremely helpful finding us a private driver to drive us from Riga to Tallinn at the end of our stay. This is a very historic, boutique hotel with a cosy ambience. I believe the restaurant on the ground floor is open in peak seasons. Nearby are at ;
least 20 restaurants and cafes, and many bars. A wonderful stay, thank you.

GGuest UserGreat location around 15 minute walk from the old city and tucked away in a quiet area off a main road. Along with my final booking details, the hosts provided me with excellent details including videos for how to access the property by myself. I somehow managed to lose this email when I arrived and the hosts were extremely prompt in helping me out.
The apartment is cosy and ideal for solo travellers or couples. The kitchen is well provided with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans etc. For cooking, there's a two ring induction hob, which for my needs this was sufficient. I also noticed a dishwasher and washing maching. The TV is internet enabled, great for Netflix or Youtube streaming channels.
Generally I found the hosts to be very helpful. If I'm ever in Riga again I'd be more than happy to stay in the same apartment.

GGuest UserHotel is very conveniently located, next to the mall and central station, minutes walk to the bus station, central market and old town. Check in was perfect and helpful with city map provided. Kettle, cups, sachet tea and coffee are provided, shampoo, hand soap, tissue paper, shower cap were provided in the bathroom. Would be good if they provided body lotion and hair conditioner. Sadly, the power plugs at the desk does not fit a travel adaptor and there are no usb ports. The single bed was right next to the curtain and a mirror is right in front of the bed, very weird room design. There’s a safe deposit box in the room. Do remember to bring your own slippers as no room slippers are provided.

Bbwr19Very cozy and comfortable hotel extremely well situated just a couple of minutes walk away from many of the main attractions in Riga’s old town, and a short walk away from the central bus and train stations.
I was warmly welcomed by the hotel staff, and my room was clean, newly refurbished/constructed, and quite comfortable with all the amenities I needed such as tea and coffee, shower items, laundry service, minibar, and so on.
I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Riga.
One small point to note: I believe not all the rooms are to the same standard as mine as there are old and new wings of the hotel, and I was given a room in the new wing.
