"My first trip to Chongqing was made perfect by choosing this hotel. First off, the location is absolutely superb, right next to the Jiaochangkou subway station (20 meters away). From the hotel, it's just a few hundred meters' walk to famous landmarks like Jiefangbei and Shibati. The hotel's interior is comfortable and grand, with all the necessary facilities and services provided. The rooms are spacious and well-laid out. Each room even comes with a dedicated butler offering personalized, one-on-one service. They were very cooperative with all reasonable requests, which made me feel very secure and well taken care of. The hotel also boasts a beautiful spiral staircase on the 12th floor, leading directly to a rooftop bar where you can enjoy Chongqing's night view without even leaving the hotel. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Chongqing – it's so convenient and reassuring!"

"Bringing my family to Chongqing, I was so pleasantly surprised to stay in such a historic building! The taxi pulled up and I was immediately drawn to the facade – it had a classic old Shanghai, old manor house vibe. Apparently, it's a century-old heritage building that's been renovated, with a French interior design that's both simple and tasteful. The family suite was just perfect for three of us, spacious and cozy, and my daughter loved climbing up and down the bunk beds. The rooftop garden was also beautiful, a truly calming little spot in our whole trip. If there were a small bar up there at night for a drink or two, it would be even more chill!"

"I've been staying at this hotel for a long time, and the service is excellent – warm and attentive. The environment is also great; the hotel is very quiet and comfortable to stay in. The hotel is a standalone building, offering peace and privacy with excellent soundproofing, ensuring a very restful night's sleep. The first-line river view is expansive, and the infinity pool is stunning, making every photo Instagram-worthy. Breakfast is exquisite and fresh, and dining by the river is a truly pleasant experience. The location is also very convenient. You can easily reach Eling Park, Liziba, and Testbed 2 by taxi or on foot, so you don't have to travel far to visit popular attractions. After a day of exploring, returning to the hotel feels like a relaxing vacation – the flow is perfectly designed. Overall, my impression is that the price is affordable, yet the quality is on par with high-end hotels. The hygiene, facilities, environment, and location are all excellent, with absolutely no complaints. It's truly rare to find a place that offers a comfortable stay, great photo opportunities, and such high value for money. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Chongqing. For anyone who appreciates quality and great photo ops, this place is a must-book!"

"Shuttle Service (Pick-up/Drop-off): The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the visitor center, dropping you right at the door, which is incredibly convenient. Facilities: The facilities are excellent, including a washing machine and dryer. My clothes were dirty from caving the day before, and they even helped me wash and dry them. So nice! Environment: I chose a room with a bathtub, and soaking in it was very relaxing. The room was also very spacious, and the outdoor yard was huge, making it perfect for kids – they can go down the slide and play in the sand. The pool water also looked very clean. Service: What surprised me the most was the wide variety of breakfast options; the noodles were delicious, and the service was outstanding."

"The room was fantastic, with a strong Chinese aesthetic. Most of the furniture and facilities were made of wood, which was very comfortable. There was even a mahjong table, though we couldn't gather enough people to play, haha! The bed was very comfortable. Upon check-in, we also received a complimentary enhanced hot spring experience. We chose lavender, and to our surprise, it was freshly brewed, which was a lovely surprise. After checking out, I left my power bank in the room, and it wasn't convenient to arrange a courier. Our butler, Xiaoya, brought it to us the next morning, for which I'm extremely grateful. Both the check-in and check-out services were excellent. When we left, we didn't even need to go to the front desk to check out, but the butler still chased us out from the front desk to say goodbye, ask about our stay, and see us off. Although breakfast for two was included when we booked the room, we didn't wake up in time. I'll definitely try it next time I visit!"

"Went there for the outdoor pool. It was clean and best of all mostly empty. It is located on the fifth floor rooftop. There’s no real place to sunbathe, but they do have a lot of patio seating. They also have the gym nearby and an area for laundry, lockers and showers. There was a lovely check in attendant who spoke English and went above and beyond every time we needed help. She helped hook up my laptop to the television so we could watch movies. So grateful! The rooms were clean and everything still looks well maintained and new. It was a great place for a staycation in Chongqing. Just a few things to note: the mini fridge in the room doesn’t chill things at all. There are four free drinks included (soft drinks, juice). There was a small fruit bowl, but we didn’t eat anything. The breakfast has limited western options, but of course we expected that since this is a Chinese hotel. Eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal. That’s it. They do have Chinese breakfast options, but didn’t try them. We didn’t try the dining options available at the hotel so can’t comment. Overall, it was a great place to stay. I would recommend it as a nice, clean and new hotel for visitors coming to CQ and staying in the Palm Springs area."

"The newly opened Daji Hotel has planted a 'small European castle' at the foot of Fairy Mountain. Its mint green exterior with white carved door frames, the piano in the high-ceilinged lobby, the plaster molding + chandelier soft furnishings, and even the angel sculptures in the corners all hit the aesthetic sweet spot. The indoor and outdoor color schemes and decorations are all 'photo-op secrets,' making any spot you stand in feel artistic. Room facilities: The bed and pillows are soft, fluffy, and very plump. The shower pressure is strong, and the heating warms up the mountain chill instantly. They even provide electric blankets, making it comfortably warm down to your toes once you're tucked in. The only minor issue is that the toilet lets in a bit of cold air at night. Location and transportation: It's super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the tourist center. However, the shops under construction on both sides of the road aren't finished yet, making it dark at night with no streetlights. Service: Both the front desk and service staff have excellent attitudes. They kindly reminded us to wear more layers. We added a staff member on WeChat, who recommended some great restaurants, which was much more reliable than trying to find places on our own. Breakfast: Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM and includes congee, soy milk, eggs, steamed buns, siumai, steamed dumplings, stir-fries, etc. While not super lavish, it tastes like home-cooked food. Parking: There's ample parking both at the entrance and in the backyard. Daji is one of those new hotels with 'high aesthetic appeal and plenty of warmth.' It would be even more perfect if they refined the small details a bit more."
