"The location is genuinely great, right in Chinatown. Downstairs, you can find anything you want to eat. It's a perfect spot for Chinese tourists because you can get Chinese food anytime. If you need a convenience store, there's one right next door. You can also head to Chinatown for noodles in the morning. Across the street, there's a theater currently showing a Michael Jackson musical. You can check in online in advance; they'll send you an email. I checked in at the front desk, and the Indian guy was very friendly. They gave me a high-floor room. The room size isn't big, but it's just right for one or two people. The bed and pillows are comfortable, and it's very clean. However, there's no complimentary bottled water or slippers, which really surprised me. The bathroom also lacks a bath mat, so be careful when showering. Otherwise, everything else is pretty good. The gym isn't large, but the equipment is sufficient, with plenty of machines for compound training. I didn't opt for breakfast because there are so many food options downstairs, all within walking distance. The lobby bar on the ground floor is lively in the evenings. Overall, the price-performance ratio is excellent, but many things are minimalist, like the lack of slippers and water. The location is good, and the comfort level is adequate. So, if you prioritize price and location, this place is a solid choice."

"The staff were kind and easy to work with, the location was good and close to trams, but far from the main shopping and restaurant districts in Bourke St and Collins St. The hotel room was neat and clean, however I couldn't find a hairdryer"

"The hotel is quite large with many rooms. Its location is good, about a 5-minute walk to the tram's free zone, and there's a convenience store right opposite, which is very handy. Standard check-in is at 3 PM, but you can pay for early check-in."

"The room we booked had a balcony, which was great for ventilation, but it was a shared balcony with the room opposite, with no partition in between. The shuttle service was quite convenient. After landing, I called the hotel (the operator was rude), then exited T2, crossed a small road, and waited for the shuttle there. There were signs, so it was easy to find. The shuttle driver was a grumpy old man. The hotel front desk service was good. Also, if you lock your door at night, remember to unlock it the next day. If you don't, you won't be able to open the door with your card after closing it, which is very troublesome. The room's cleanliness was decent, though the windows were very dirty. Everything else was fine. Breakfast was mediocre and exactly the same two days in a row."

"A lovely boutique hotel in a great location. Our room was large, spacious, and beautifully styled with modern décor. We especially appreciated the kitchenette (including a dishwasher) and the two balconies, which made the stay feel even more comfortable and airy. In terms of cleanliness, I’d rate it around 4/5. While the room was generally clean, some items are starting to look dated — for example, rust on the stainless steel racks. There were also a few maintenance issues, such as a fridge that wasn’t working properly and a chunk of plaster missing from one corner. With a bit of TLC and some updates, this hotel could easily move from good to fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. The location is excellent 10-15mins to the centre — trams are just a 2-minute walk away, and there’s a supermarket directly opposite the tram stop where you can also purchase a Myki travel card, making it very convenient to get around. Overall, a spacious and comfortable stay in a well-connected area, with just a few areas that could use some attention."

The location is good; Parliament House is very close, and Chinatown and Flinders Street Station are all within walking distance. The service and facilities meet expectations, though the outdoor pool was too cold to use in the mornings."

"I stayed here for three nights in Melbourne. There's a tram stop right outside (though it was closed for roadworks, sadly). It's also super close to the SkyBus drop-off point from the airport to the city, only a six or seven-minute walk, so it was really convenient – I just bought a round-trip ticket. There are also lots of familiar eateries nearby, like Pepper Lunch (so good, why did it close in Beijing?!) and Gong Cha (so happy to find Gong Cha overseas!). The room was quite spacious, and the view was nice too. The bathtub was a bit long for me, and there's a separate walk-in closet with a vanity table."

"The Quincy's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the train station. If you walk another 10 minutes towards the Crown Hotel, you'll find lively riverside restaurants. The service at Quincy is absolutely superb – attentive and friendly! The rooms are fully equipped, and the high-floor views are great. The Happy Hour at the rooftop bar, with cocktails at $15 each and the night view, is definitely a must-try! I really enjoyed my stay at Quincy and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Melbourne."
