"Right by Erhai Park, it's a quick 10-minute drive to the high-speed train station with no traffic. You can find places to eat right downstairs, which is super convenient. The room has a great view, and there's Bluetooth so you can play music. The front desk staff were always helpful. The only thing I think could be improved is the breakfast; for this price point, it was a bit underwhelming."

"The hotel's location is super convenient, right across from the pier and only about 10 kilometers from the airport. The surrounding area also has excellent amenities. They upgraded me to a lake-view room, so I could enjoy the beautiful Erhai Lake scenery right from my window. Poppy provided patient, warm, and attentive service. The Luna Bar on the 25th floor (the top floor) has amazing views and reasonable prices, perfect for a drink in the evening."

"The room is really well decorated and well furnished. The view from the room is spectacular too! There were scooters you can rent right in front of the building which is so convenient for you to ride around the Erhai Lake! There is also a 24 hrs convenience store in the building and food stalls opposite the building."

"I believe everyone worries most about hotel or Airbnb accommodations when traveling. I'm quite picky personally, but this place gave me an excellent experience! The bedding was very comfortable, and the front desk service was fantastic – very welcoming. They'd greet me every time I came and went and ask if I wanted anything to drink. Their coffee is really good, in my opinion. The staff member was incredibly friendly and even helped me with my luggage up and down the stairs, haha, I'm so grateful! Breakfast is served in a set meal format and can be delivered to your room, but I chose to eat in the first-floor restaurant. What surprised me was that breakfast is made fresh to order – that's a huge plus! 👍🏻 Highly recommend. Both the fourth and fifth floors have balconies, so you don't need to go out to watch the sunrise; you can see it right from the hotel's fifth floor. For those planning to stay, the sunrise is between 7:30 and 8:00 AM. Highly, highly recommend!!!"

"Honglin Pavilion Inn was the highlight of our trip to Dali! As soon as we walked in, we were charmed by the cozy Bai-style courtyard – it was so clean, elegant, and full of greenery. Our room had great natural light and was spotless, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The owners were all so kind, making us feel right at home. They even shared local tips and advice on what to avoid. The location is super convenient for getting around and finding food. Seriously, the whole experience was fantastic, and I truly recommend it to anyone visiting Dali!"

"Came to Dali for Chinese New Year and stayed at a really nice hotel! It's run by a few young guys and girls who are super warm, attentive, and thoughtful; their service is absolutely 100%. I heard the guesthouse was just renovated last year, so the whole place feels new, and the facilities seem very well-maintained, which made for a great experience. The best part is they have two super well-behaved and adorable Shiba Inus! Petting the cats and dogs after a day out exploring was incredibly satisfying. Since it was Chinese New Year and run by young people, the guesthouse was decorated with a strong festive vibe, and the atmosphere was really lovely. They'd remind us every day about afternoon tea and breakfast. Both our room and the large second-floor terrace offered views of Cangshan Mountain. The weather these past few days has been fantastic, making Cangshan look incredibly beautiful and Erhai Lake stunning. All in all, a truly wonderful experience!"

"This hotel is perfectly located near the South Gate of the ancient city, just a 10-minute walk to the bustling core areas like Renmin Road and Foreigner Street. It offers the best of both worlds: escaping the noise and crowds of the city center while still being able to immerse yourself in its vibrant atmosphere in an instant. Getting around is incredibly convenient. The surrounding area is very well-equipped with amenities; there are plenty of convenience stores and small restaurants, and getting a taxi is easy. Although the hotel doesn't have many rooms, the front desk staff seem to wear many hats and are often stretched thin. You can tell they work very hard and are quite busy. Overall, this is a top-notch hotel next to the ancient city, boasting an excellent location, great value for money, and truly personalized service. For tourists visiting Dali who want a peaceful stay with easy access to explore the ancient city, this is an ideal choice."

"Our family of five stayed here in Dali for Chinese New Year. For the first two days, we were in the 202 family sea-view suite. For the following two days, since those rooms were already booked by others when we made our reservation, we stayed in 302 and G02 respectively. They offer a rich breakfast, afternoon tea, and a warm milk at night. There's a laundry room, a mini-fridge, and parking is very convenient. The owner even provided free parking vouchers. It's quiet with a great view. Not far downstairs, there's a Yunnan specialty restaurant called Que Zhi Yao, where we had our New Year's Eve dinner, and it was excellent. Outside the complex, there's another Yunnan restaurant called Hugo that was also delicious. In short, our whole family was very satisfied. If we come to Dali again, we'll definitely choose this place. Plus, it's very close to Yunxiang Mountain, where the kids enjoyed the karting track. We also visited Cangshan Mountain and Ideal State, both very close by. We went to S-Bay and Haishe, which are a bit further but not too far. All in all, the location is incredibly convenient. I mistakenly called the hotel 'Yeshanju' for two days before realizing it was actually 'Shushanju' – how embarrassing!"

"The room was spotless, and the owner provided disposable towels and bath towels. Besides the two complimentary bottles of mineral water, they also gave us two bottles of other beverages! We stayed on the 4th floor, which was the only four-story building in the village, with a private elevator entrance. The panoramic glass windows let the warm sunlight stream in, making it incredibly comfortable and cozy. The lake view was absolutely stunning! We didn't even need to go to Longkan Pier to watch the sunrise; we just woke up naturally in our room, drew the curtains, made a cup of tea, and slowly watched the sun rise. We were very satisfied!"

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! We happened to be there during a local market day, which was super lively. We'd pop back to the hotel for a rest whenever we got tired and then head out again 😂. We went back to the hotel about 5 times a day, and every single time, the staff were so welcoming to the kids, even giving them two adorable little elephant souvenirs! In the evening, it's just a 3-minute walk to the ancient town. The breakfast spread is extensive, and they even have fried milk fan (炸乳扇)!"
