Scenic Hotels in Dali City

"Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! ⭐️ The staff were excellent and very helpful throughout our stay. Even though they didn’t really speak English, they still made a great effort to assist us whenever we needed help. Really appreciate their patience and hospitality! 🙌🏻 For Muslim travellers, halal food is available around the area, but most halal restaurants are not within walking distance. You’ll need to take a DiDi to get to them, so it’s something to keep in mind when choosing this hotel. Other than that, the view from the hotel is beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. Overall, a pleasant experience and I would recommend this hotel! 👍🏻"

"We were on a family trip and everyone absolutely loved this place. The environment and hygiene were excellent. We booked a room with a view of Cangshan Mountain! In the afternoon, we brewed the ripened Pu-erh tea provided by Mo Travel in our room, gazed at the scenery outside the window, and relaxed – it felt incredibly comfortable. Mo Travel was very thoughtful, recommending restaurants and giving general directions to attractions, which saved us from any bad experiences. They were very meticulous in their instructions. As newcomers, they also carefully advised us on what we could and couldn't eat to avoid an upset stomach and ruining our trip. The rooftop view was fantastic, offering panoramic views of the Erhai Lake sunrise and Cangshan Mountain. It was incredibly breathtaking; the mountains looked especially majestic, and you could even see the cable car from the room. Furthermore, during our sightseeing, Mo Travel would proactively check in on where we were, remind us to reapply sunscreen, or suggest we return to the guesthouse for afternoon tea and a goodnight sweet soup. It truly felt like a home away from home for our two nights and three days. The breakfast rice noodles were delicious! The two dogs in the courtyard, Huanxi and Shiyi, were super cute!! Loved them 😻 The owner even played with the puppies with me."

"Huge thanks to Cindy for her warm and enthusiastic service! From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we felt the genuine warmth and proactiveness of the entire hotel staff. It was truly excellent. Cindy even helped us upgrade to a premium sea view room on the highest floor, which we really appreciate. Overall, the hotel is fantastic. While it might show a little age, that doesn't detract from its otherwise outstanding qualities. We received complimentary fruit on our first day, and the breakfast was superb, especially the delicious small pot rice noodles. There was turn-down service every evening, along with complimentary special drinks and beer daily. The view is indeed wonderful, and now you can even enjoy the sight of fishing boats at night. Getting to various places is also quite convenient. Definitely worth staying here."

"One of the best stays we had in Dali! 🤍 The receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful. She gave us great food recommendations and even walked us to the restaurant herself, which was such a thoughtful touch! The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We stayed for two nights, and they kept the room well-maintained, refilling the water and amenities throughout our stay. If you’re Muslim, this is also a great option because there are halal restaurants within walking distance, so you don’t have to worry about finding food. Overall, we had an incredible stay here. The hospitality really made the experience extra special, and I’d definitely stay here again when I’m back in Dali! ❤️"

"During my leisure time, I went to the Seaview Bookstore to await the sunrise, enjoyed three types of tea, made rubbings of horse talismans, and sewed herbal sachets, then took a leisurely walk on the less-traveled forest path. The garden itself has a Kyoto-esque tranquility. The Weishan Braised Pork Er'si at the morning noodle station was the biggest surprise, and the medicinal pork hock with wild mushroom oil was an authentic Yunnan flavor that I instantly fell in love with. For breakfast, you can even choose a Hello Kitty plate, which is super cute! The view right outside the window is stunning, with Cangshan Mountain in full view. This was an excellent staycation experience."
