"- Friendly & Helpful staffs. - very clean! Daily cleaning & floor mopping. - Luggage storage available - can deliver package to hotel - self-laundry & detergent provided - good location! So many restaurants nearby. 15mins walk to nanjing road, 5 mins walk to metro. A lot of convenience stores nearby - space not too big but not too small - Decent soundproofing. At least i cant hear sounds from the room next to us (im a light sleeper) - hairdryer provided & enough electrical outlets for charging multiple devices"

"We had a great stay at this hotel in Shanghai. The location is very convenient — just a short walk from 大世界 metro station and not far from 豫园, which made exploring the city easy. We really appreciated being able to check in early after a long flight, so we could freshen up before heading out. The room wasn’t extravagant, but it was comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall, a good experience and a solid choice for a short stay in the city."

"We came once and decided to come back again. For the second time we have booked a queen bedroom and for the second time we got a twin bedroom !!!! Why ??? it seems so strange and no way to get what we booked for. More over, this time was a nightmare, at the entrance we were notified that the water will be cut for almost one day. No prior notice, this is really unfair ! If we knew it before we wouldn't have booked in this hotel ! Last, windows are so dirty, difficult to see outside. Be aware!"

"Recommending this hotel for your first or repeating Shanghai visit. They accept international guests, however nobody speaks English. They have their translation app ready if you need anything tho or communicate with their hands. Everybody was very polite and helpful. We ordered some packages to the hotel the reception accepted for us. The room was clean and was cleaned every day, including empty the trash. They replaced our towels every day which I feel was not needed, but fine.  The area is very nice, metro close, didi drivers can stop in front. Down the streets are many food places and one random craft beer bar. Shanghai city museum, several malls and Nanjing Lu are all in walking distance. In front of the hotel are small supermarkets. In 5min walk you get Baozi, Jiaozi and famous egg pancakes for breakfast. Coffee and milk tea stores ＜10min walk. So no need for hotel breakfast ;) It might not be the hippest corner of Shanghai or lively during the night, but very good starting point for your daily trips. We didn't experience it as loud. You sometimes hear other hotel guests but nothing that annoyed us.  Only thing to be aware of: The room is very small, not even a closet. We didn't mind as you only sleep and shower there, but for some it might be an issue. It was our first time in China and Shanghai, so I can't say a lot how good the price was. But comparing it to other hotels in the area it seemed fair."

"We enjoyed our stay their room was very spacious and comfortable and had full kitchen amenities however it had no kitchen supplies so if you’d like to cook something other than microwave, you must bring your own plate, silverware, etc. It had a beautiful view of the city it had all of the basic needs such as a washing machine shower Two nice size beds that were very comfortable with great bedding and pillows. The staff was incredibly helpful and supportive they also exchanged money for us. There is a market downstairs and it is a nice quiet peaceful building. Overall, we really enjoyed it enough to cancel our future booking at a different place and come back and stay at the same place. They also provided us with luggage storage and had great plugs for international travelers. Blackout curtains for peaceful and quiet sleep tons of closet space and a little dining area as well as shoe rack. The views from the room were spectacular."

"This is our second stay at 幸会臻选酒店 this month, and once again, it did not disappoint. The location is excellent—just steps away from the People's Square metro station, Nanjing Road pedestrian street, popular restaurants, and major sightseeing spots. The hotel staff are friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile, which really adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shanghai and looking for a centrally located, reliable, and friendly place to stay."

"Overall good experience, the location is great, walkable from metro and walkable to nanjing pedestrian street , all within 5 mins. Although the room is a bit small, but I guess it is reasonable because of the location. They also provide welcome drink at hotel lobby, which is heartwarming"

"I’d say this place is one of the best affordable short-term serviced apartments in Shanghai. Highly recommended for travelers and business trips. The location is super convenient — you’ve got easy access to the metro station, supermarkets, McDonald’s, Starbucks, and tons of restaurants. The room is also equipped with a washing and drying machine, a microwave, and a big TV screen that supports smartphone mirroring, giving you total freedom. The service is excellent too — Ms. Yunyun has been incredibly kind and always helped me whenever I had questions. Giving her 5stars for her outstanding attitude and skills. I’ll definitely book again in the future."

"This is a remarkable hotel in an amazing location. The hotel is situated in the old part of People’s Square, on zhejiang road, in a famous lane house. Walking through the small streets felt like going back in time. I loved all the smells; food cooking, fresh flowers, dried fish and meat, and even laundry soap. I also heard birds singing and people talking in Shanghainese. It was just like in the TV show Blossoms Shanghai “繁花” by Wong Kar-wai! This morning, I went to take a test. The neighborhood gave me good energy. After passing the test, I felt very happy! And I’m so thankful for my quiet hotel, I slept really well. The best preparation for my exam! I must say that was a great experience!"

"Location was great. The entrance was hard to find it first. Volume in tv was really low on the TV unless you switched it to the VIP/free service. The other platform for some reason had a low volume. Ayi came to help . Shower drain didn’t drain and water level rose . I had to stop it before the overflow . The “window” room is really a wall with a window installed . Nothing to see . As expected."
