Pros: as first time tourists to Shanghai the hotel was easy to locate and we had no problem checking in even though the receptionist spoke little English.
It was also handy to have a communal microwave and fridge for guests of the hotel.
Cons: To get up to your room you take the lift to the upper levels of the building - the lift itself was dirty and looked very unprofessional. If I didn't know I was taking that lift to go up to my hotel room, I wouldn't have known it belonged to a hotel. The cleanliness of the room could have also been better.

In general, I am quite satisfied.
First of all, the location is very good. Line 9 is just outside the turn. Lujiazui Center is just across the road. Next to it is the First Aeon. If you walk a little further, you will see Shanghai Center and Corkscrew.
Secondly, the nearby supporting facilities are mature, including Yonghe King, Hema Fresh, and everything else.
Thirdly, the mattress is of suitable hardness and softness.
Finally, the service is very good and the hygiene is also acceptable.
Conclusion: The price-performance ratio is relatively good.

I booked this hotel on the spur of the moment during the Chinese New Year holiday. I didn't expect the overall stay to be quite good. The location is also easy to find. It's only a few minutes' walk from the subway station. The front desk staff is also very enthusiastic. The housekeeping aunt cleans the room very carefully. The 2 counter staff was totally unhelpful. Checked in on an evening where the weather was extremely cold. Counter staff saw us struggling with our luggages to enter the hotel premise and made no move to assist. The wooden floor of my hotel room has some gaps in it and may be a hazard since you may trip on those holes and fall. Not able to locate any staff at the counter when i checked out during early hours to catch my 8am flight. Should have 2 chairs in the room. Hotel room is of decent size for 3 adults and there are 2 tvs in the room.

SSoloTravelAnnaI had a lovely two-night stay at this hotel over the weekend! Itâs super convenient, just a short walk from Changshu Road station on Line 7 and Line 1, and only about 10 minutes to Shanghai Library station on Line 10.
When I arrived at 11 PM, I found it a bit tricky to locate the entrance, but then I noticed a big lemon đ outside the buildingâjust hop in the elevator there!
The room was cozy and inviting, perfect for a good nightâs sleep. It was dark and peaceful at night, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was clean and well-kept, and there was always a friendly staff member around to help out. They provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, which was a nice touch!
You can do laundry on-site, and they have hairdryers available during the dayâjust keep in mind theyâre not out at night. Overall, it was a great experience!

LlKateLocation very amazing surrounding with Nanjing Road store and MRT really close just across, but Air condition in winter is open on 12.00-20.00pm as staff said. And it really work in that hour whice we go out for travel and hot in night timeđ„Č Staff really nice and housekeeping very kind.
Good thing is : recommend this place for elder easy ti access hotel dont need to walk to much.
Some time cigaratte smell from main Aircondition even it off. Room is small suit for two people!

BbreadpizzaI think i was the first international traveler staying at this hotel, my pinyin is very basic, but with translation apps we could figure each other out. Just make sure with checkout you do not pay extra, because i already paid for everything including 12 nights , extra breakfast for 12 nights at arrival, the taxes and fee by check in with cash. Ask for a receipt note if possible. In China there is always everyday someone else at the receptionist. So there can be confusion.
Toilet after 5 sheets, you must flush otherwise it will get clogged.

I would skip the breakfast, it was more basic chinese food and almost everyday the same. I would suggest to give the chef more budget to buy some fruit, because i have only seen 1 time fruit. As a international traveler and for the local travelers including childeren we all like to have a fresh healthy breakfast, we all are willing to pay more for breakfast if the chef can have more passion instead of riceporridge, egg, dry bread, steamed bun, dumpling, vegetable bun, stirfry vegetable etc.
I know for 15 yuan breakfast you cannot exept too much, shanghai is expensive. I am pretty sure that almost everyone is willing to pay 5 yuan more so that even for once we can see some fresh baked potato's or some stir fried rice.
Everyone is friendly, but you need to know basic pinyin. I got a nice big hard bed that is good for your back with small window and big led tv including own bathroom.
Its very clean. The hotels bed sheets replace once 2 to 3 days, this a good thing, because its better for the nature and saves water usage, energy and detergent.
This hotel is better than a hostel, its somewhere between a high star hotel and a normal hotel. For solo travelers with basic pinyin i would recommend this hotel, but make sure you make picture of the cash payment and ask for a receipt note etc.

YyeeiriserGood for solo youth who is looking for a small private room similar to capsule hotel but more facilities. You get to have a small sort of desk and chair to work on your laptop. The place is quite well-equipped with shared bathroom, soap, hair dryer, small towel, waching machine+dryer. There's a limit time used of hair dryer and washing machine due to loud noise as well, around 9am-10pm (check the sign again).
You might wanna prepare your own shampoo, conditioner, and slippers for bathroom.
Toilet and trash can are cleaned every morning, so at night time will start to be a bit dirty. If you're sensitive about toilet might need to manage your time again.
Overall this place fits my personal needs as a solo digital nomad traveler. Walkable to a giant shopping mall where you can find plenty of food, walkable to metro, basic facilities provided. I give 4/5!

The hotel is a little dated, the rooms have great space but need some modernisation. There's no lifts but the staff will help you in taking luggage up the stairs. Cleanliness requires abit of improving, there were also no utensils provided for our stay so we weren't able to use the kitchen as we'd liked.
For the price its worth the stay.
