It was overall a great stay. The lobby is cozy, fragrant and dimly lit with soft yellow lighting. The room is not very big but there was enough space to move around comfortably. Love the shower with instant heating and water temperature digitally displayed and the hairdryer has good wind strength. The toilet seat is electronically kept warm and wash basin tap comes with hot water, which really made a difference during cold weather. Breakfast was simple but delicious, with variety enough for a nutritious start to the day. The noodles made by the robot was unexpectedly quite tasty. The complimentary late night porridge was also a warm touch to end the day for guests. There are books spread out throughout the public spaces for guests to borrow (all Chinese books though). The location is rather convenient, about 10-15min walk to 2 metro stations, Jing An Temple Station and Nanjing West Rd station, lots of eateries nearby and a few shopping malls like Kerry Centre are also within walking distance, plus the beautiful Jing An Temple of course. Special thanks to the kind staff named Weekend (Zhou Mo) who extended complimentary late check out till 4pm in view of my late flight.
I had a wonderful stay at the Pullman Shanghai Central for a relaxing birthday staycation. The front desk team was fantastic and went above and beyond to accommodate a special request for my birthday. I was also pleasantly surprised when the chef delivered a delicious cake to my room to celebrate the occasion. The dining room where breakfast was served was stunning, and the pastries were especially delightful. Overall, I had a brilliant experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay.
As a business traveller, when I go to a hotel, I crave familiarity, as there are often enough surprises at work. At the Radisson Xing Guo, I had high expectations, check-in process was smooth and the room was nice. However, when I came back after work, the dirty cups were still inside my room and when I called down to front desk, they sent replacement glasses from room service without any spoons after a long wait. On my second day returning from work, there was only half the normal nunber of bottles of water. The continuous little errors were unfortuante as I never knew what else would go wrong. Hotel overall was nice, and should definitely spend more time training room servicing staff.

Stayed for 3 nights and felt very good. The quiet yard has osmanthus trees, flowers and plants. Sitting at the small table under the umbrella shed and listening to the parrots is so comfortable. You can also park for free in the yard, which is really great!
The room decoration and equipment are very new, the socket arrangement is very reasonable, there are bedside tables, tables, water tables, and bathrooms, and there is a small refrigerator in the room, which is very good for cold drinks in summer.
The hotel waiters are very good, patient and considerate.
The breakfast is very rich, the restaurant layout is also very interesting, and there is a sewing machine!
The location is good and travel is very convenient. The children don’t want to leave after staying here. They said they must stay in the terrace room next time to experience it.
Great stay overall. Rooms have bath tub, which was super comfy to jump inside after long walks in the city.
Great breakers as well.
Convenient location nearby to subway stations and shopping malls
Friendly and helpful stuff at the reception. Special thanks to Hunter Zhu for helping out with some errands
The experience was great. Love the hotel design, location and service. The hotel was well designed, modern and elegant in style. We stayed for 8 nights and could easily travel to places of interest. The provision of late evening porridge was a nice touch especially in winter. Staff including the housekeeping ladies were polite and helpful. I would stay here if I visited again.
Great hotel with excellent location. Everything in the room is really clean and modern. Our check-in was delayed for 1 hour and it was really hard to stay awake and wait after 9 hour night flight. Even so hotel stuff was great and helped us with a call to another hotel. Hotel is located perfectly near the metro station, but it was really difficult to find it because in the title of the booking it never says that it's actually called ”Atour” and we were not sure where to look for our ”Shanghai Bund Jinling East Road Light Residence Hotel”. I would really recommend to make it clear for the future international travellers who are not so confident with Baidu maps.
It was a nice hotel to stay, close to the train station and walking distance to a lot of local shops and restaurants. The hotel entrance is a bit inconvenient to get to, but someone was at the entrance to help us with carrying the suitcases to the lift. The reception is on the 6th floor. There are laundromat available and you can rent vinyls to your room, just need to pay the deposit. The room is spacious and has everything we need. The bed was comfortable, I personally don't like soft beds and it was perfectly fine. The staff doesn't speak English at all but they were helpful and we managed to communicate with them with just google translate. We also like that their checkout time is later than most hotels and we also get to leave our suitcases there to explore more of the city before our departure.
We chose Capella for our first visit to Shanghai. Truly, it is a charming and supremely tranquil hotel in the heart of the city. The warmth and eagerness of the staff to assist us left us deeply moved. Every detail in our villa was meticulously and elegantly arranged, from the placement of the slippers to the absolutely silent light switches. We've stayed in many luxurious hotels and received beautiful luggage tags upon checkout, but the farewell gift from Capella left an impression far warmer and more memorable in our hearts. A truly elegant and exquisite experience.
There weren't many places to stay for 3 people in a room, so I searched and searched and ended up booking here. I was worried because there were almost no Korean reviews when I made the reservation, but I was so satisfied! First of all, it was a new hotel, so it was very clean and nice. The room had everything I needed, like a wireless charger, charging terminal, and hair dryer (with good wind speed!!), and it didn't smell like cigarettes 👍 The staff were friendly and the breakfast was really delicious! There's a Louis Vuitton Coffee and McDonald's in the same building, and a convenience store nearby, which was nice because it's not too far from the tourist area, so it wasn't too noisy, which was nice. If you like walking, Nanjing East Road, Yuyuan Garden, and Xintiandi are not bad places to walk! It's not too far by taxi either. ㅎㅎ I'd like to let Koreans know this in case it's helpful: You have to use the elevator in the middle to get to your room!!

GGuest UserI came to Shanghai for a few days and stayed in two rooms in his house. They were very nice. I like the style. The location is good and easy to find. The hygiene in the room is also very good and clean. The room facilities are also complete, including towels. The bath towels are all sealed with plastic, which is very considerate~ The quilt is also very comfortable to sleep on~ The host is very nice, has a great service attitude, and is very patient. If you have any questions, he can answer them in time. He is very welcoming and has a large room near the room. There are also many shopping malls, there are a lot of delicious food, and there are many attractions not far away, you can check in😄The experience is great, I will stay in another room of his house next time I come❤️
AAnonymous Userhad a good stay at this hotel. The location is convenient, with easy access to public transportation. Bus No. 71 stops nearby, making it simple to get to Nanjing Road directly. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Overall, a great option for travelers looking for convenience and value.
RReiseplanerThis hotel is a gem. The location is perfect (less than a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station and plenty of coffee and restaurant options in the area; count ~1.5h to and from PVG airport), the room and shared facilities (bonus point for the toilet paper that is better than many 4-star and 5-star hotels) are spotless clean, the bed is comfortable (different pillows are even provided), and the price/value ratio is almost unbeatable. There is even free tea and drinking water available.
Please note that having taken the upper bed window room, packing a bag can be a challenge compared to the lower bed one I imagine. Also, all usb ports available are USB A.
Few points can be improved: the windows let a flow of air coming in even if closed (the duvet is warm though), a little usb bed light would be useful (as it is not convenient to turn off the lights once in bed, have to do it before), the tv didn’t work in my case but that wasn’t an issue for me, the towels are disposable and normal towels would be a huge plus (pack a small towel should you want one), and lastly, whilst there’s no noise permeating in-between rooms, corridor movements can be easily heard (nothing that earplugs cannot solve).
Overall 10/10.
VViviLeonFirst, the positives: the hotel is in an excellent location, surrounded by a variety of bars and restaurants. It's a lively area that offers plenty of dining and entertainment options. However, it's important to note that The Bund is a 20-minute drive away, which might be inconvenient for some travelers.
The hotel itself is clean and stylish, with modern decor and comfortable amenities. However, I encountered several significant issues that will prevent me from staying here again. The walls are extremely thin, and I could hear people shouting all night long, which made it impossible to get a good night's sleep.
Additionally, there are ongoing renovations both inside and around the hotel. The constant noise from construction made it a nightmare to stay in the room during the day and even at night. This disruption significantly impacted my ability to relax and enjoy my stay.
In conclusion, while the location and style of are appealing, the thin walls and extensive renovations create an environment that is far from restful. I would not recommend staying here until these issues are resolved.
GGuest UserThe location is very good, Anfu Road and Changle Road are within easy reach, and it is quiet in a busy city. The room is very clean, spacious, and has everything you need. Each room has a different decoration style. There is an exquisite Japanese food store downstairs, and the view of the courtyard downstairs can be seen from the balcony of the room. Great accommodation experience.
GGuest UserThe house is located near Jing'an Temple. It is a long-standing old building and old community. The landlord has a new look after the decoration. The style is suitable for young people to live. It is within walking distance to various cafes and brunch restaurants. It is suitable for citywalk. It is also close to the subway station. It is more convenient. The landlord also actively solved the small problems encountered during the stay, and the overall experience was good.
AAnonymous UserThe location is great, close to the subway entrance. There are many places to check in when you go out of Huaihai Middle Road. The front desk lady is also very nice. The facilities are also very complete. The bed is great, there is a table and a lamp next to it, and charging is also very convenient. The experience is very good
The house is decorated with a Christmas atmosphere, the house is in a good location, the transportation is convenient, the landlord is also very enthusiastic, and you can often see a few cats on the terrace
