Spa hotels in Haikou

I brought my child to Haikou for a vacation this time and stumbled upon this hotel. The overall experience exceeded my expectations, truly great value for money. The hotel is situated in the heart of Haikou's West Coast, just a short drive from Leiqiong Global Geopark, Tropical Wildlife Park, Holiday Beach, and CDF Haikou International Duty-Free City. It's incredibly convenient whether you're exploring nature, taking kids to see animals, or shopping for duty-free goodies. The hotel's facilities are exceptionally well-equipped. The outdoor pool, with its dedicated children's play area and fun water slides, keeps kids entertained. There's also an indoor heated pool, a professional gym, and a ping-pong room, catering to both adult relaxation and kids' fun. You can easily fill your leisure time without even leaving the hotel. The breakfast quality was a pleasant surprise. The dishes were abundant and varied, with no repetition, and the taste was on point. It offered a good mix of Chinese, Western, and local specialties, so you wouldn't get tired of it even with daily meals. The room details were meticulously thought out, perfectly suited for Hainan's humid climate. Since the hotel is a bit away from the sea, it's not too damp. The bathroom is equipped with a full set of Bvlgari toiletries. The room's air conditioning has powerful dehumidifying capabilities, and there's an additional independent dehumidifier. The room stayed dry and fresh throughout our stay, completely free from any sticky or uncomfortable feeling. The service was thoughtful and attentive, with staff members being gentle and polite. From the front desk to the restaurant and public area staff, everyone was warm and courteous. Requests were promptly attended to, and they were patient and meticulous in their interactions, making our entire stay very comfortable. This hotel offers excellent value for money. It's a fantastic choice for family vacations or leisure stays in Haikou; you absolutely can't go wrong. I'll definitely be returning!

After a long search, I finally chose Sofitel, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The hotel's environment and hygiene both seemed very new and well-maintained. The sea view from the high-rise overlooking the city was absolutely stunning. The buffet was also great, with a rich variety of dishes and fresh ingredients. It's within walking distance to popular attractions, making it very convenient for getting around. Overall, my stay was a perfect 10!

An established Pullman 5-star hotel. The public areas of this Nanyang-style resort are beautifully designed. The in-room amenities and decor also exude a strong Nanyang vibe. This Pullman has been around for a while, so the elevators and in-room facilities have a vintage feel. However, the overall maintenance is quite good, and they still function well enough. The room isn't huge, but the layout is nice. The large mirror and hardware in the bathroom are very high-quality, showing that the hotel put thought into its selections. The mattress was too soft, making it uncomfortable to sleep. Room cleanliness was very good. The toothbrush is made of bamboo, and the toothpaste comes in paper packaging, which I haven't encountered in other 5-star hotels. It would be even better if the bristles were softer. Overall, the cleanliness and service were good. At breakfast, dishes weren't refilled quickly enough after running out, but the view outside the restaurant is fantastic. The pool and hot spring areas are also very beautiful.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for a romantic getaway, and I have to give a special shout-out to Helen at the front desk. We were a bit tired from our journey, but Helen was incredibly gentle and patient throughout the entire check-in process, which was handled quickly and efficiently without any unnecessary delays. We weren't very familiar with the local attractions, so we casually asked for some recommendations for food and sightseeing spots. She didn't just brush us off; instead, she thoughtfully suggested some local favorites that actual residents frequent, helping us avoid overcrowded tourist traps. Later, when we went back to the front desk to ask about luggage storage, she continued to respond with a smile, never showing any impatience. Our romantic trip for two got off to a wonderful start right from the moment we checked in. The thoughtful service significantly enhanced the happiness of our journey. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit.

This hotel experience was fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, with brand-new, smart facilities. The bedding was incredibly comfortable; I slept like a baby. The staff were warm and attentive, and the breakfast was rich and delicious. The pool was the cherry on top, and there's also a large dog-walking garden that's absolutely stunning at sunset.

Absolutely perfect! I initially thought it was an old hotel, but it completely won me over with its service and consistent quality. First off, there's the Kids' Creativity Park, offering all sorts of fun activities and photo ops for children. Secondly, I just found out it's part of the Marriott family of hotels. The staff were incredibly patient; I can't remember the name of the front desk attendant who helped us, but they kept my ID safe after I lost it, bringing me the joy of finding something I thought was gone forever. The Wi-Fi signal in our room was poor, but the 'little butler' (concierge) and front desk staff patiently came to our room multiple times to help us troubleshoot. The hotel is also very close to the beach, and you can even spot squirrels on the walk there. The kids had an absolute blast, especially with the sand bikes! It's truly the perfect hotel for families. I recommended it to friends the very next day, and they also stayed there for two nights the following Tuesday, reporting a truly excellent experience. Another plus is that there are lots of foreign children here, and everyone seems so happy and relaxed! Plus, they're very delivery-friendly; you can order anything you want, which is a huge bonus. It was a fantastic experience, and I might even come back for a second stay!

The hotel service was excellent, haha! A special thanks to the front desk for their warm service. The room was on a very high floor with amazing views, hehe. They even helped arrange a room with a great view for my stay. The weather in Haikou has been quite gloomy recently, so remember to bring an umbrella when you go out. The ginger lily scent was delightful. I'd definitely come back with friends and family if I get the chance.

Hygiene: Good, clean, and the cleaning lady was very kind and meticulous. Environment: The room decoration was very exquisite, practical, and thoughtfully designed. Service: The front desk staff were generally good, with a strong service-oriented attitude. Initially, a tall man checked me in; he was a bit cold and arrogant. However, the slender girl who checked me out was very friendly and professional. When I left, someone saluted and smiled, which was very heartwarming. One minor issue was that the luggage service was too slow, slower than the average hotel, and even more so for a Ritz-Carlton. Facilities: Pros: The gym was excellent, I really liked the equipment, it was very comfortable. It wasn't overly crowded. Cons: The swimming pool was a bit small (15 meters). The pool and gym are shared with the Renaissance, so the clientele is a bit mixed. I suspect I was followed by a man (he kept swimming close to me, when I got up, he got up, when I walked away, he followed, and when I walked aimlessly, he also followed). So, ladies traveling alone should be careful! The biggest drawback was the location; it's quite out of the way, and ordering delivery was inconvenient. However, the Chinese restaurant was quite good. But there's no hotel in the city center that can compare to the Ritz-Carlton in terms of quality, so it's a matter of trade-offs.

After a road trip to Wanning, we chose Haikou Marriott for our first rest stop in Haikou. Although it's an older hotel, you can tell it's meticulously maintained, with everything clean and refined. The Chinese palace-style lobby has an impressive high ceiling and faces the sea. The courtyard is filled with coconut trees, and there's an outdoor pool and free hot springs. It's quiet and not noisy at all. We booked a sea-view room, which was spacious and clean. The balcony directly faces the Qiongzhou Strait, and watching the sunset over the sea from there in the evening was incredibly therapeutic. The hotel's EV charging stations weren't yet activated, so I asked the housekeeper, Fiona, if I could use the internal charging facilities. Fiona quickly contacted staff to open them for me, solving my problem with such a gentle and thoughtful demeanor. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Haikou.

The hotel is by the sea, so the location is great. The room was big and spacious, although a little damp. It would be perfect if every room had a dehumidifier, and if the staff could dehumidify before guests check in, the stay would be even better! Although it was an ocean view room and I could see the sea, the room's position wasn't ideal, and I was too lazy to go to the front desk to change it. There was just an exposed platform downstairs, not a hotel green area, which was a bit of a mood killer. But I was happy to catch the sunrise around 6 AM, that was a pleasant surprise!
