Breakfast was average only, not much variety and food was slightly cold. Location of hotel was excellent, next to Wanhua station. A short distance walk (~10 min) to Longshan Temple station). There is Family mart convenience store at Wanhua station and a 7-eleven nearby. Room was quite small, dusty. Would not fit 2 huge luggages. It was rated as 5 star hotel but the amenities were not well maintained (e.g. dirty shower head, dusty bedside table, stained bathtub). Towels have to be hung leaning on the slightly stained walls outside as the shower room is too small. Separated toilet bowl and shower room. There is no separation between the toilet as the sink is located within the room. Bed was also abit too soft resulting in aching back in the morning and only 2 soft pillows provided.

We booked Sheraton because of its location and name. We booked King Bed, but when we got there they gave us 2 Twin Bed and made a King Bed out of it. They gave us a King Bed room the next day. For Honeymoon we only got 2 small Teabags and 2 small teddy bears. Worst Honeymoon Amenities ever. Breakfast was ok. Good enough. Lobby was too crowded. Restaurants was crowded from morning till evening.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Before commenting on the hotel, we wanted to share some of our own experiences with those who travelled to this hotel on their own. We arrived at the airport at about 5pm and went to the Flying Dog Bus counter as suggested by the Forum members. Based on the information we found, the bus was supposed to take us to the hotel or close enough to the hotel. But instead, we were told they would not take us to the hotel door until after six o'clock. Before 6 o'clock, they will only put guests on the designated bus route and then take a taxi to the location they are going to. In short, if you arrive at the airport before 5:30, then it is recommended to take the Guoguang bus. After the next time at the terminal (Taipei Central Station), take the MRT to Ximending. Pros: -The location is good. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the nearest MRT Ximending Station. -All rooms have free Internet access. Try using the wireless connection. If you don't have a network cable yourself, you can borrow one from the front desk. - Basic supplies: hairdryer, kettle, free bottled water and tea - very clean Cons - hotel entrance hidden in a narrow alley and easy to miss. Just look for the World Express pastry shop on the main road. There are huge neon lights on the top side of the hotel, which is useful when looking for it from a distance. - Shower and bathtub are integrated. As a business hotel, we expect them to install a shower curtain, but maybe they think it will cost too much. So you can imagine the mess after each shower. -No useful maps available. Those maps that could be used only marked the subway line, and there was no address information or anything like that. - the lighting in the room was poor. It was too dark for ladies who wanted to make up. -Close to a government building, so if you want to walk around naked in the room, it is recommended to close the curtains. -The front desk clerk doesn't seem to know much about the attractions. -Breakfast coupons are issued at the front desk every morning, dining at the fast food restaurant on the main road, just at the exit of the narrow alley. There are about four or five packages to choose from, but the two must be the same (for both of us)! That is so stupid! The food is not good either.

Excellence location, just 2-3 mins walk from Ximen Station Exit 6, walking distance to all the local foods and shopping street. The counter service staff are friendly and attentive. Even though the room is a bit small it's ok to have a decent sleep and shower. There is free luggage storage. Highly recommended.

Awesome hotel, nearby MRT station, downstair have local night market, a lot of local food to eat. Highly recommended for the hotel, I book for superior double room, rooms are bright enough, corridors are wide and the sound proof effect is really good, amenities is great 👍🏻 they provide free luggage storage for customer who waiting to check in or after check out too.. Have a self service laundry room for us to clean n dry our clothes, it do sell detergent too, hassle free .

The hotel is surprisingly ok despite being in an old business district. It gets dark by 10 so this is the only disadvantage. The 7-11 is cute overload and so convenient. To the airport, go beimen station exit and taoyuan airport express line is so convenient. I booked at sg 88, so yea quite a good deal. Taiwan is a safe *******. Thank you 🙏

The hotel was abit old but the quality of service provided by the staff is excellent. Specifically, their helpfulness in resolving issues such as a faulty lock on luggage and thr 17th floor staff was try their best to comfort guests during an earthquake, even though they were also concerned themselves. City Suites Taipei Nanxi is well located very close to Dihua Street and conveniently connected to Beimen MRT station and Taipei Main Station which allow to go everywhere. The room was big and clean with big beds. It was quiet despite being on the main street. I live in a single room. Some of the walls are made of wooden boards. There are also signs of water seepage around the windows. Some of the walls are between the boards. Having said that, the toilet is very big. It's a pity that the reflective paper pasted on the windows is It was so quiet, and I was afraid of the spring sunshine. I had to put up newspapers to cover myself, so I could take a shower safely. The bed and sheets were clean, but the carpet was a bit worn. This is my first time in Taiwan and I am attracted by the characteristics of the hotel online. We stayed at the airport in the middle of the night, and the reception staff was very kind to introduce us. Although the room is not big, it is very tidy and clean. It would be better if the room could provide some chairs. I really like the puzzle card paper posted by others in the hotel, which makes the hotel add more features. The room cleaning staff was very attentive, even the wheels of the luggage were wiped clean for me. I like the ”mini bar” in the basement, there are many delicious Taiwanese snacks and instant noodles. The breakfast at the CHO cafe is also delicious~ I will definitely stay at the hotel again next time I come to Taiwan, and I hope to see the puzzle I painted again.

A hotel with high CP value. Peaceful environment and plenty of space. There is a breakfast shop nearby. In the evening, you can buy mai x50 Tom Bear in Ximending. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the MRT in the morning, and 10 minutes to the hotel after dinner. Although there is a bridge next to it, there is no noise at all when I sleep at night, which is great. // Water is bottled water. I immediately moved the score and added a lot of points. Services are mostly the same. Service that satisfy customers is important, but service that impresses customers is often unavailable. When visiting Ximending in the future, the ”Energy Hotel Ximending” is definitely my first choice.

Very good location, not far from Ximending. There's a lot of food in that area and there's a 2nd hand shop as well. The owner of the hotel is very cute and hospitable. The rooms may not be very spacious. It is more suitable for people who do not have a lot of luggage. But I sleep comfortably. Coincidentally, we reserved a room that accommodates 4 people, but actually only 2 people stayed. It felt okay, not too uncomfortable, but the room might not keep sound very well.

Love the location which is at the Ximending area and in front of the subway exit, convenient to roam till late at night. However disappointed upon finding out the room we stay due to the lack of details upon booking. It was advertised as room with window but not able to open. But in fact it is a small window (around 60cm? Width) facing the next building window hence need to close it all the time. Perhaps it would be better to know ahead that this is a room without window or view to avoid disappointment. Bed is firm and size of the room is good. Design of toilet and shower area is good but the choice of tiles could be better to avoid mold which is apparent at the shower area. Breakfast spread is decent and healthier choice kind.

- Paid extra for a better room, Totally Worth It! Big and clean, but no view - Great location, easy access to the Taipei main station. I can get to anywhere easily. My Tainan friend caught a High Speed Rail to visit me, it was easy for her to get here - I would recommend to go straight up to the ground and drag your suitcase on the street with you if you are taking the Airport Express to Taipei station (Do not walk all the way to the MRT train closet exit because there are stairs) - I like the restroom, bathtub and shower. The Japanese washlet is fantastic because you cannot just throw toilet paper in the toilet in Taiwan - Bed is a bit too firm for me, personally prefer softer mattress - Breakfast has limited choices, I wish there are more - Staffs are very helpful and friendly. I was waiting for a shop to restock something, since I didn’t have a local number, I left the hotel number to the shop, and big thanks to Peggy for her help!!!

This is my first time staying in a small hotel. I don’t really like this type of small hotel. The floor looks like an empty building and it’s unreal! The blind person ordered again! When I bought a house a few months ago, it was hundreds of dollars more expensive. I checked out the room and checked out the price of my room now, which is only hkd500. Why did I pay more than hkd800 at that time? It’s so heartbreaking that I want to cry! You probably need experience to buy a house! There are instant noodles and tea available for free at the front desk. I was surprised that adding a quilt would cost NT$100 as a cleaning fee. So if a couple like us, who sleeps separately, comes here, don’t book a double bed room, but be careful to book 2 beds! The bed is a soft slingshot bed that I don't like. The soundproofing of the room usually makes you hear the sound of water drains. Fortunately, the air conditioner is cold enough for showering and the hot water is hot enough. The wifi in my room is no different from no wifi, it is very weak! The most unfortunate thing was that the battery tripped once while I was taking a shower, and then again when I was about to go to sleep. It was quite scary! Unforgettable hotel
