Hotels near Alameda Creek Regional Trail in Union City

The hotel itself is not bad, but the quality of the guests is too poor. In the middle of the night, there are more than one tossing in the room. In the middle of the night, the engine roars and loud noises and music drove into the parking lot. For the sake of it, I can only score zero points for their quality

The check-in experience is good, there is parking, the room is quite spacious, and the breakfast is not bad. The bed is big and the pillows are very comfortable. The facilities are a bit dated and the overall feeling is pretty good.

Room was not as advertised, not clean at all. The kitchenette came with nothing provided. You had to go to the lobby to ask for the cookware, but they were out of half of it. The “breakfast” was only prepackaged small muffins, oranges, and small yogurt (they had three in the fridge).

I was in town for work (used to live in the Bay Area in SF) but never stayed in a hotel in the far East Bay. This was close to my office and had remodeled rooms. Overall my stay was good. The bathroom had longer counters and good lighting. The shower was nice. I don't love Marriott's product line for their Marriott branded hotels, but they had products, hair dryer, iron (no ironing board, which was weird). The bed was fine. Had a tv with netflix etc. Overall it was a decent stay. The staff at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. I booked a corporate rate which included a shuttle service, but the shuttle no longer runs, which is very misleading as it was tough to get an Uber (took over 20 minutes and made me late for both a covid test and my first meeting in the office). That needs to be adjusted. There's a nice bar in the lobby and a little store by the check in with other necessities if you need them. Overall this was an average Marriott stay.

When I went to the hotel, it was almost 12 o'clock. There was a meeting at 12:45. The hotel stipulated that the check-in could be done after 3 o'clock. I went to the front desk and asked if there was any room available for early check-in. Hour. After sitting for a while, the front desk did not seem to help me check the vacant room. It seemed that it would take a certain time to help me. I checked the nearby hotels with the same price and star rating and made a phone call. I had to cancel this one and go to another one, but the front desk didn't seem to want to cancel and said to help me check. Then the room was arranged. In fact, I asked the cleaning staff, there are enough empty rooms. I would like to say that the hotel has hotel regulations, which I have always followed, but in special circumstances, and there were no other customers at the time, why didn’t I understand the flexibility? What’s the difference between being empty for three hours and staying three hours early? Is there a loss? If there is no vacant room, it is another matter. You can check in at the time, but if you have a vacant room, this hotel is not a high-end hotel. The same hotel next door also says check-in after 3 o'clock, but you can check in after 12 o'clock if there is a vacant room. Why is this one so strong, it doesn't look at the customers at all, and directly asks the sitting hall to wait. Can a business go on without flexibility, without change, in this economic situation?

We stayed for 5 nights with two kids aged 3 and 6. This hotel had everything we were looking for. The area is quiet and we didn't see any homeless people around. There are a few restaurants, mostly Asian about 5 mins drive away. We ordered Uber eats one night and delivery was very fast too. Housekeeping was perfect. We'd requested for it every day at the front desk and they did a great job. Parking is free and plentiful. The laundry room on level 2 had one washer and one dryer. Costs $2 to use each. Shout out to Elsa from the front desk who went out of her way to help us get quarters from the hotel beside cause we needed to use the washer urgently on our last night. Breakfast was basic, but had all the essentials - waffles, scrambled eggs, muffins, etc. We could not find anything wrong with this hotel. Would definitely recommend it to families with young children.

The location of the hotel is close to the high-speed port and is convenient for going out. Also close to the outlet, not bad. The hotel has a swimming pool and gym facilities. Breakfast is also good, very rich. Provide wifi service. It may take a little trouble to install hot water. Ample parking is available. There is no place to go shopping nearby. There are a lot of gas stations.

Stayed here for two nights at the start of a road trip to Denver via friends in Phoenix. Plenty of free parking. Staff polite and friendly. Room good size, clean and tidy, medium TV with reasonable selection. Comfortable beds. Wi-Fi acceptable at 10.0 mbps down & 10.0 mbps up. Bathroom good size, clean and tidy. Plenty of hot water with excellent pressure, extractor could do better! Good size breakfast room with good selection (apart from the lack of low fat yogurts!). Some eateries (including a Cold Stone Creamery), a cinema complex and a Walmart within walking distance. Used it as a base for the area and to visit the Winchester house (recommended) in San Jose. The hotel is looking slightly tired, needs brightening up and my only complaint was some bins being emptied in the area at 4:50am, so try and avoid rooms that might be looking towards bins! Other than that a decent stay and would consider it again. Did not use the pool of fitness room.

I guess I am To the point of no return….. In the last 3 months I have stayed at just about most popular and advertised hotels and this hotel hit the spot. The front desk clerk was very open and shared her gratitude about working with such a tight group of employees that support each other, and also that salaries are at the industry level. Not only the place was clean, and presentable, I did notice most of the employees content with their duties. Perhaps when a company chain understands that happy employees means good business and profits, the current COVID situation that had thrown a wrench to our economy…..more and more bad managed companies are going to die and those that understand the true value of less profits for a longevity of their investments by paying living salaries to those that keep clients coming back
