Visited for one night on Monday 22/08 perfect welcome - everyone was friendly, attentive and very informative. Also the check out was just as perfect. Room was perfectly clean and very good value! I’d stay again in a heartbeat - the Team were really good ! It’s hard to get good staff but you’ve managed it - congratulations! See you in 4 weeks ! I return every month to the UK so you are now my go-to hotel ! See you again soon !

Hotel sanitation feels OK, meals are poor, the door of the room is not locked, and it is not very safe. The windows are noisier towards high speeds. However, the work enthusiasm of the hotel is still more enthusiastic.

Hi, I stayed at your establishment with my now fiancé, on 20/04/2024 til 21/04/2024 and what an absolute pleasure it was. The staff were fantastic! Thomas at the front desk was such a lovely and polite chap. Our room was great and the food was outstanding! The grounds and scenery are beautifully breathtaking. The Coniston was the perfect place to propose to my partner and she said YES! So that made our stay even more perfect! we can’t wait to come back later in the year! We didn’t catch the two girls names at the front desk on the morning we checked out, but they were fabulous and both will remember my partner showing off her engagement ring to them. Thomas and these two girls, are three of the most professional and polite people we’ve ever come across in hospitality and their service and excellent manner, are a credit to your establishment. We've just refurned from 4 nights at The Avenue, what a brilliant place to stay. The suite gave us (and our preteen) plenty of space to relax AND get ready for a family wedding nearby. Food in the restaurant was delicious (we had pizzas & burgers one night, then breakfast, a roast and evening snacks on the Sunday) and very well priced. Although we faced onto a road, the fact that this is a gated community meant that it was peaceful and quiet, and for a Bank Holoday weekend we didn't have any disruptive noise from the bar (even better that the rooms are in a separate wing). We elected for the paid cooked breakfast on the Sunday which was lovely, and took up one of the Continental breakfasts included in the price - it was fairly basic but suited our needs. The other 2 mornings we popped to the Coffee Shop across the car park for a delicious well priced cooked option. Adequate parking, a night door (handy if you're staying whilst attending an event nearby). Beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed our daughter was sleeping on. Due to the Bank Holiday and the timings when we were using our room, we didn't see housekeeping but managed to get extra towels and other items as needed. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Absolutely would stay again if in the area and will recommend to others.

Initial impressions weren't great as in all fairness Blackburn isn't the prettiest of towns, but once I'd got parked I soon changed my mind. The receptionist was great and I was soon in my large, well-equipped bedroom. The room and the sumptuous bathroom were absolutely spotless, and I had a good night's sleep followed by a tasty breakfast.
