We have been visiting the Pleasant View for a few summers and wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else. It is by far the nicest place to stay along Misquamicut Beach. Nestled down at the western end of the beach, the atmosphere is quieter and family oriented. Although, the bar seemed lively most nights if you were looking for a little more excitement. There is also a restaurant with dancing nearby. But it’s a bit of a distance so you don’t hear any of the music. The hotel has made many upgrades since last summer. The carpeting has been ripped up and there is a wood/Pergo type floor in all the common areas. There is new carpeting in the rooms. The bar/restaurant has been upgraded and enlarged - looks fabulous! The food at the restaurant is delicious. I recommend the fried Calamari and the Chicken Tacos. Previous reviewers who have mentioned PV restaurant being pricy obviously haven’t been to other restaurants along the beach. The prices are comprable. The Front Desk Staff was very attentive to all our needs. Extra towels etc. Our room was ready at the promised time, exceptionally clean with stunning ocean views. There was also a cozy balcony to sit on while soaking in the salt air. The PV strictly follows all COVID protocols and maid service is not allowed the rooms during your stay. There is complimentary Coffee and Tea on the Lobby daily. There is also crafty gift items to buy (cash only) in the lobby if you’d like something to commentate your stay. We can’t wait for our next stay and always recommend the PV to friends and family who plan to stay in the Westerly/Misquamcuit area.

We stayed at Hilton Garden Inn for annual friends reunion for long weekend - arriving Thursday & departing on Sunday. Upon arrival, Chad welcomed us & was most professional & understanding as I tried to use digital key system & I was unable to do/my phone would not accept. Our rooms were very clean & housekeeping was friendly & worked hard to make our stay comfortable with fresh towels & extra coffee we needed. Enjoyed morning breakfasts at location & eggs Benedict special was great with perfect poached egg. We usually change locations every year but agreed we will come back next year!

It took 3 rooms to get it right. My granddaughter wanted a bagel for breakfast and they said there was no à la cart. I had to buy a full breakfast for $14 so I was very upset that we could not by one bagel so I went to the front desk and the lady let her have a bagel so I think they need to fix that. Then there is supposed to be bar there there was no bar. They shouldn’t advertise a bar and when you get there, there isn’t one. Just make sure you check out your hotel first before going.

I was very pleased with my stay. Came here alone to focus on work (inspired by the low winter rates.) Great fit bc my room was clean, nicely furnished, updated bathroom and, not least, a desk, small fridge, and microwave. Skeleton staff but friendly (hotel was not busy). Breakfast thumbs up as well w coffee, juices, scrambled eggs, meat, cereal, yogurt, pastry, bagel, waffle maker. 24 hr fitness center but older equipment. I saw rooms being worked on/updated during my three-night stay. I'll be back. P.S. I think the longest hotel corridor in the state may be right here lol.
