Perfect
SSean CheangLocation: Extremely convenient location. 30mins taxi/ didi ride from Jiangbei Airport, just opposite The Westin Hotel Chongqing. The nearest metro station on Red Line 2 ( Xiaoshizi) is 280m away , a mere 5 mins walk. Just beside the apartment ito the right s The Eye of the Cloud Observatory ( 360° viewpoint of the city) and another 5 mins walk , takes you to the Yangtze River Cableway North Station. To the left side of the apartment, under 1km or 15 mins walk leads you to the top of Shibati , which is an easy descend downhill rather than uphill. We also walked back to the apartment after a night at Hongyadong - under 10 mins. Do note Chongqing is a mountainous city so the walk encompasses walking up or downhill. When we were tired from a long day, taking a taxi / didi is very easy and costs less than ¥10 usually back from any of the tourist attractions to the apartment. There is an abundance of food options , cafes , convenience stores, supermarket, pharmacy in the surrounding vicinity all within walking distance. Red Line 2 , 1 metro stop away at Chaotianmen station is Raffles City Shopping mall. On Pink Line 3, Shangxinjie (1 stop away ) s the top of XiaHaol- another easy descend downhill. In short, couldn't ask for a better location.
Facilities: The apartment is modern and clean, thoughtfully furnished. I appreciated the hairdryer which was China's equivalent to a Dyson. Multiple power access points across the apartment and even a set of different types of phone charging cables were provided. The two bedrooms had big King/ Queen sized beds. There only toilet in the apartment is equipped with a bidet! There is a 2-in-1 washing machine and dryer in separate kitchen area. Do note that although there is a stove in the apartment, due to fire hazard and safety rules by the government/ landlord- it cannot be used and there is no microwave. This can be easily overcome by having food delivery sent to the apartment or going down to the reception.
Service: The level of service and attention we received during our 4 night stay was truly remarkable. The kind of dedication and attention to details was above and beyond. Big shout out to Rose and XiaoWen who were so quick to respond our every query and question. They were super proactive, checked in on us , sent us different good morning and good night greetings daily. They assisted with arranging our 1 day trip to wulong karst and dropped pin location/ directions for food recommendations . They took the initiative to suggest places to visit and because of that , we even got to watch a free drone light show ! When we had to leave the apartment but our clothes were still wet ( drying takes at least 2hrs) , they helped with the drying too ! We are really happy and appreciative of their top service. Definitely something money cannot buy! We wanted to show our appreciation with a tip but they refused. So please do support these beautiful kind ladies and book your next stay in their apartment for your next visit in Chongqing!
They made my 1st time travel to Chongqing so enjoyable and stress free because it felt like I had a local friend with me the whole way.

1110073****This was my sixth visit to Chongqing, and each time I try to experience a different type of hotel. This time, I chose to stay at the Regent Chongqing, primarily to enjoy their club benefits. My entire stay was nothing short of perfect, deserving a full five-star rating. The hotel's thoughtful service and the excellent experience at the Executive Lounge were particularly impressive and made me feel incredibly comfortable. The hotel is located in the riverside district, within walking distance of the IFC shopping mall, the Grand Theatre, and the riverside promenade. Even destinations like Jiefangbei and Guanyinqiao are just a 10-minute drive away.
The service was exceptionally professional and warm. From the moment I arrived, staff members proactively approached to help with luggage, guided me through the check-in process with constant smiles, and meticulously explained the hotel's facilities and services, addressing me by name with precision and warmth. During my stay, requests were handled with remarkable speed; when I called the front desk for extra towels and a bathtub liner, they were delivered to my room within minutes, with a gentle and polite demeanor. When leaving for a taxi, staff would spontaneously ask if I needed assistance and even helped adjust the front seats of the car after I got in – these thoughtful details truly highlighted the quality of service. Check-out was efficient and seamless; staff proactively inquired about my stay and even prepared a small farewell gift. The entire process was smooth, without any waiting, making the whole trip incredibly pleasant and hassle-free. The only minor point regarding service was a lady standing by the elevators who seemed out of place compared to all other staff. I was never sure what her role was; she always had a rather aloof expression. Occasionally, she would specifically press the elevator button for one or two people, but not for everyone. In any case, I never saw her press the elevator for me or greet me during my numerous trips up and down.
The Executive Lounge was an unexpected highlight of this stay. The space was quiet and elegant, with a simple yet grand design. Though not very large, it exuded luxury. The lounge offered exquisite meals for four periods outside of breakfast. For afternoon tea, given it was close to Christmas, the snack boxes were adorned with Christmas decorations, creating a wonderful festive atmosphere. The evening cocktail hour was also à la carte, with a self-service bar for drinks. The unagi rice and chicken skewers were particularly noteworthy. The lounge service was equally attentive and thoughtful; staff would promptly replenish food and drinks, clear tables, and proactively ask if I needed anything, even thoughtfully providing a phone stand for us. They spoke softly throughout, making it a perfect choice whether you're relaxing alone or gathering with friends. Additionally, the breakfast spread was rich and varied, with hot dishes, cold cuts, desserts, and freshly squeezed juices all available, and the taste was consistently good.
Overall, the stay exceeded my expectations. The excellent service and outstanding Executive Lounge experience added an extra layer of enjoyment to my Chongqing trip. I highly recommend it to everyone and will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Chongqing!

The rooms are immaculately clean, tastefully appointed, and filled with thoughtful small touches that pique your interest in the new surroundings. Despite being nestled among residential buildings, there was absolutely no noise or disturbance.
The young lady at the front desk was polite and efficient. She thoughtfully provided a breakfast guide video and the Wi-Fi password during check-in, and later in the evening, a complimentary fruit platter was delivered to my room. Upon checkout, I was surprised with a bag of local specialty snacks, explained as 'something to enjoy on your journey.' It's these small, comforting gestures that truly make a difference.
As a business traveler, this kind of thoughtful attention to detail is exactly what we look for.

It's also very close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. Transportation is super convenient with a subway entrance right at the doorstep, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The room was spacious and bright, with complete facilities. The bedding, in particular, was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The staff were warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again next time.

Environment: Many great food options on Bayi Road, very convenient.
Cleanliness: Clean and hygienic.

Facilities: Has everything you could need. I highly recommend the 'xiaomian' (small noodles) for breakfast, it's delicious.
It's very close to Hongyadong and Shibati. Highly recommended!

CcrystalxxlThe supervisor and the receptionist at check-in assigned us to the 16th floor, which had a great view outside the window – very satisfying. It's very close to Jiefangbei, and Hongyadong is right next door. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.
However, the front desk didn't proactively offer the fridge magnet for leaving a review when checking out. I only saw others getting them and had to ask for one, which they reluctantly gave. Considering we stayed three nights and had two kids with us, it would have been much better to generously offer two. That would have significantly improved the customer experience.

GGary SeetThe hotel might seem a little aged at first but the service and interior still wow from the first moment you step in. The room I booked was clean and spacious. The housekeeping did their job excellent. They have everything inside you could ask; washing detergent, iron, laundry rack, etc. Front desk was superb; fast check-in, great advice when asking for recommendations, and efficient when asking for items like extra water. The robot was a great thing to have as all my delivery are sent to my doorstep. All in all, this is a 10/10 solid stay. Oh, the breakfast have a great great selection and taste great too. And there is vending machine in lobby if u need any last minute groceries or even a wake up coffee. Thank you.

AAiyou-nahenbangbangda。My family and I came to visit the Three Gorges, and the hotel's location is excellent. We looked at many places between Chongqing and Yichang before deciding to stay here. It's very close to the cruise terminal, and Raffles City, a popular photo spot, is right downstairs. The surrounding scenery is fantastic, and the room itself is spacious and well-maintained—clean and tidy with a great view. Overall, it's highly recommended. The nearby food options are also great, especially the authentic hotpot.

MM19914****The front desk staff were incredibly warm, energetic, and proactive in greeting us. This is by far the most detail-oriented hotel I've ever stayed at! During check-in, a staff member offered to help with our luggage and even thoughtfully provided a tourist map of the Nan'an district, marking out hidden gems and tips to avoid common pitfalls. It was even more practical than my own research! The bedding in the room was so soft, I didn't want to get out of bed. The panoramic window offered a stunning view of the city lights at night, and drawing the sheer curtains in the evening created an absolutely amazing ambiance. The toiletries in the vanity area had a luxurious scent, and they even provided makeup remover pads and cotton swabs – a dream for anyone who appreciates details. My entire experience was fantastic, and I've already recommended it to friends! The facilities and equipment are also being updated, which is great.
