Finishing our trip to Chimelong, Hengqin Bay Hotel left me with more than just fun memories; it also provided a rare sense of relaxation. The hotel boasts a prime coastal location, with its castle architecture blending seamlessly with expansive gardens. Walking through the grounds, you're surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant water features everywhere you look. Flamingos leisurely stroll on the islands, and dolphins swim freely in their pools. There's no need to rush through amusement park crowds; a post-dinner stroll offers truly healing scenery.
The water park offers both an indoor heated pool and outdoor play areas, so you can enjoy splashing around regardless of the weather. The guest rooms are spacious, with balconies overlooking the garden. Housekeeping is impeccable; the floors and bathroom corners are spotless, the bedding is soft and dry, and there are no strange odors in the room. After a busy day of activities, returning to the room allows you to truly unwind. The facilities are well-maintained, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's rest.
The hotel staff are courteous and humble. The front desk efficiently handled check-in and proactively provided information about the shuttle bus and water park. The concierge was helpful with directions, and housekeeping diligently cleaned and replenished supplies daily. The water park lifeguards also carefully reminded guests about safety. The service is practical and not overly showy, making for a very comfortable interaction.
Transportation is well-integrated. Free shuttle buses frequently run between Ocean Kingdom and the Chimelong Circus City, with clear waiting instructions. You can also experience a unique water-based journey by yacht. There's ample parking for self-drivers, and luggage storage is convenient. The hotel's dining and children's play facilities are comprehensive. Here, you can head to the park for excitement or simply relax and unwind at the hotel.
I genuinely felt the vacation vibe of not having to rush through an itinerary here. The overall experience was satisfying, making it a worthwhile choice for accommodation when visiting Chimelong.

My friends and I recently visited Guangzhou, and we chose to stay at the Magnificient Hotel Guangzhou Panyu Flagship Store. Our overall experience was fantastic, making it an absolute gem for anyone visiting Panyu! The ambiance, dining quality, and recreational facilities all far exceeded our expectations. The value for money is incredible, and I've already silently added it to my top hotel choices in Guangzhou.
The most impressive aspect of the hotel is its overall scenery and atmosphere. The entire building boasts an exquisite European castle style – grand, magnificent, and incredibly photogenic. The lobby exudes light luxury and elegance, with crystal chandeliers and a high-end feel throughout, perfect for snapping some great photos. Our room was brightly lit, with lush greenery outside the window and expansive views. It offered a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle and bustle, making our stay exceptionally comfortable and serene, creating a truly immersive atmosphere.
Dining was another delightful surprise during our stay. The breakfast buffet offered an incredibly rich variety, perfectly blending Chinese and Western cuisine. We had everything from stir-fried noodles to baked goods, egg tarts, salads, and juices – a complete mix of meat and vegetables, and dry and wet dishes. The food was fresh and authentic, and the staff were quick to replenish items, ensuring a full spread at all times, catering to the diverse tastes of seniors, children, and young adults. Besides the lavish breakfast, the hotel's afternoon tea was also a pleasant surprise, featuring a wide array of exquisite and tempting treats. Western-style mini cakes and nut biscuits were all available, along with fresh seasonal fruits, ice cream, and refreshing sodas, offering a perfect balance of sweet and savory, hot and cold. Enjoying afternoon tea by the window, gazing at the beautiful scenery, was incredibly leisurely and therapeutic, truly relaxing.
The recreational facilities were also superb for leisure time. The hotel features a well-equipped gym with a full range of professional fitness equipment, including cardio and strength machines. Everything was clean, tidy, and well-maintained, allowing us to keep up our workout routine even while traveling. It also boasts a stunning outdoor swimming pool with crystal-clear, regularly maintained water, surrounded by greenery, creating a comfortable environment. It's perfect for a refreshing swim in the summer or for taking picturesque photos.
Jasmine, at the front desk, checked us in very quickly, and the other hotel staff were also very warm and attentive, greeting us proactively and responding promptly. Their attention to detail was particularly thoughtful. Overall, the accommodation was comfortable, the dining was excellent, the facilities were complete, and the scenery was magnificent. The staff also mentioned that the restaurant on the first floor is currently being renovated and upgraded, and we're really looking forward to its reopening. This hotel is ideal for family trips, vacations with friends, or business travel. I sincerely recommend it to everyone and will definitely stay here again next time I visit Panyu, Guangzhou!

Staying at Chimelong Hotel was an overall great experience. The environment is beautiful and full of tropical flair, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Check-in was efficient, and the service was attentive. The shuttle bus goes directly to all the major parks, making the location absolutely perfect. After comparing several Chimelong hotels, I chose the Penguin Hotel for this vacation. My overall stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel's style leans towards a cute penguin theme. The decorations and arrangements in the hallways and lobby create a great holiday atmosphere. Just walking around the hotel made me feel more relaxed. The butler service was a huge plus during this stay. They responded promptly to inquiries about the hotel and communicated in a kind and gentle tone. Any questions I had were answered clearly and understandably. They also provided many helpful tips for our itinerary.
The room itself was well-maintained, clean, and bright. The bedding was comfortable and breathable, allowing us to unwind after a day of activities. The children's amenities in the room were very thoughtful, designed specifically for kids' daily use, which greatly reduced our luggage burden for a family trip. The Emperor Penguin Restaurant is definitely worth a try. The dining environment is unique, and watching the penguins up close is especially fun. The food was replenished consistently, and the dishes covered a variety of tastes, so both seniors and children could find something they liked.
Public areas of the hotel were always kept tidy, with staff constantly maintaining the environment. It was a great experience to relax and wander around the hotel. Getting to the scenic area was convenient. Most of the hotel staff were polite and friendly when we met them, patiently assisting with even simple inquiries. The entire trip's accommodation experience was very smooth. After playing, returning to the hotel allowed us to rest well. I highly recommend this hotel for families traveling with children. It can add wonderful memories to a trip. Friends planning a visit to Chimelong Zhuhai should definitely consider this hotel first.

SANTOSH KOLTEExcellent Stay at Grandview Golden Palace.
The Room: The duplex suite is incredibly spacious, offering a great multi-level layout that feels more like an apartment than a hotel room.
Location: Super convenient—only about a 600-meter walk to the Tiyu Xilu Metro Station, making it incredibly easy to navigate Guangzhou.
Food Scene: A fantastic food street is right nearby, packed with excellent local dining options right at your doorstep.
Highly recommended for anyone wanting space and convenience in Guangzhou!

MissdanOThe hotel is huge and gets very crowded, but we never had to wait for a table at breakfast. Sylvia was really enthusiastic and upgraded me to a Supreme Family Suite with a full sea view, which I think just meant a higher floor. There are quite a few things to do here; we couldn't even get through all the facilities in one day.

SushannuoWe visit this place every year with our elders and children. This is our sixth trip, four days and three nights. This year, the overall service has improved significantly. The restaurant staff are very proactive in anticipating our needs. For instance, when I dropped my chopsticks, someone had already brought a new pair before I even had a chance to ask. Other service staff were also very friendly and answered all our questions with a smile.
The newly opened Forest Park makes the whole experience much more enjoyable. I particularly appreciate the canopy and fans above the park – very thoughtful for a Guangdong summer! During our visit, the last two days were half-days of torrential rain, but we were still able to play in this park for most of the day.
The park feels comparable to Xigugu, Qingyuan Long, and Naitown, offering a food street + tokens, non-powered rides, mechanical rides (not too thrilling, suitable for elementary schoolers, though the pirate ship is the most intense I've ever ridden!), an indoor park, and a zoo (currently small and a bit smelly). We spent a full day there and only managed to experience about 70% of it superficially. Plus, the in-park consumption is much cheaper compared to the other comparable parks (e.g., renting a buggy for 30 minutes costs 60, which is a steal compared to Qingyuan Long).
They also have cosplay NPCs of various characters interacting with kids, answering questions, chatting, and playing rock-paper-scissors. Some NPCs even have hidden interactions, which is quite fun!
This year, the three parks (I've always considered the water park as two – one seaside, one indoor) are interconnected, making it less tiring. Thanks to the rain, I finally got to try kayaking, which always has a long queue. Paddling amidst the mountains and water, with no time limit! (No wonder there's always a queue…) I would definitely list this as a must-do for future visits.
My room type has undergone some renovation, but please, please change the mattress! It's really too soft, and my back hurts every time I sleep on it. Every hotel I stayed at in Jiangsu and Zhejiang this year had excellent mattresses and pillows! Even chain hotels like Wyndham! Please learn from them!
And the swimming channel is still the most fun (the kids are always in the water), the best place for toddlers to learn to swim! But please don't put those boosters in such a narrow channel. They're fun, but genuinely dangerous.
This year felt fresh, and there's still plenty to explore. Let's see if the kids remember to come back for their seventh visit next year, haha…
