"Right next to Wuma Street, downstairs is a lively food market. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and provide full-service throughout. There are free foot-soaking tubs with mugwort available. "As we were traveling with our child, we specifically booked the Haoyi Hotel near Ding'an Road Metro Station. It's incredibly close to the West Lake scenic area, and you can take the metro directly to the high-speed rail station, Xiaoshan Airport, and Intime in77. It's also not far from China Silk City, making it very convenient. The hotel environment is elegant, and the air is fresh. Opening the window, you're right on Nansong Imperial Street, which has a wonderful ancient charm. The front desk staff are all young, very friendly, and provided warm and thoughtful service, helping us solve many problems – we're very grateful! The breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options and is quite rich, basically meeting different needs. Other service staff were also always smiling and very friendly, which made us feel very comfortable. We highly recommend it for families traveling with children."

There are some nice touches to the room, and the blue was quite pleasing. There is a shower & bathtub as well. Toiletries are provided. The buffet selection is quite good and quite tasty. We only stayed for 1 night. The staff did help with the bags when we arrived. Check in was seamless but they speak limited English though. Overall nice hotel and reasonably priced. Can’t comment on the location much as we used a driver. The hotel is located at the corner, about 10-15 mins from Qinghefang Street by car."

I loved the summer special drinks in the lobby and the convenient 'carefree corner,' which had everything you could need. The room has a charming, antique feel with a distinctive incense aroma, creating a rich cultural atmosphere. There's even a calligraphy experience available in the room. The mattress is very comfortable, and everything is clean and hygienic, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was incredibly varied, and the pastries were particularly delicious. I also want to thank the hotel staff for providing me with an extra complimentary breakfast.

Guest UserThe location was out of the way for a lot of attractions and unfortunately, we visited during summer so it was too hot and humid to explore the area. When we arrived, it felt like we were the only guest in the resort, we did not get buffet breakfast, instead just a limited breakfast from the menu. It was only the following mornings where there were more guest and the buffet opened, which is understandable. What was disappointing was the pool was closed, we booked this hotel just for the pool as we were traveling with children who would enjoyed it. The daily fruits was a great touch though.

Asnafi NaderThe stay at this hotel led to both bad and good/expected experiences. To begin by the bad, the reception/checkin was terrible (I had to wait for a long time and was forced to ask them two times to check me in, the breakfast restaurant was chaotic (I had to go back and forward, left and right, to find what I wanted to eat and drink, and so was the situation for everybody else, a huge number people forced to do the same…) which did not give a good start for the day, the staff in the lobby were not willing to tell me where the nearest convenient store was located… And now to the good/expected. The location is great: a 2 minute walking distance to the West Lake, a large number of restaurants, shops, cafes, Kerry Center, etc. The rooms was clean and quite and the bed comfortable. The cleaning staff were nice and helpful and the checkout was fast and pleasant.

KalutelelidiyaThis hotel used to be an InterContinental (perhaps a benchmark in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai region), but after the InterContinental brand pulled out, the owner operated it independently under the name 'Free InterContinental Palace'.
After the InterContinental de-branding, the hotel significantly increased its recreational activities, adding tennis courts, sound healing, and more.
Among the resort hotels in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai area, places like the Xihu State Guest House and Fuchun Resort are quite large, but this hotel's actual scale is even more astonishing. Besides the hotel's own area, the entire Xianshan Peninsula is essentially its public space: in early summer, there are bayberry orchards, and in autumn, the mountains are covered with tangerine trees. You can hike to the top of the back mountain (about 2-3 km), and there's a hidden small 'canyon' in the mountains. If you don't want to dine at the hotel, there's a 'farmhouse restaurant' next door (Xianshan Restaurant). A few hundred meters from the entrance is the lighthouse area, which used to be a pebble beach and has now been converted into a coffee shop/bar.
As for the hotel's own hardware, it's roughly on par with the international resort hotels in Yalong Bay around 2010-2012 (Qiandao Lake InterContinental/Hilton/Sheraton all opened around the same time). It's very well-maintained, old but not dilapidated. Compared to the minimalist, trendy new hotels of the past two years, hotels from this period have much more character.
Most people come to Qiandao Lake to escape the summer heat, but October-November is when Xianshan Peninsula is at its most beautiful. The tangerines are ripe, the lake water is exceptionally blue on crisp, clear days, and by November, a few ginkgo trees in the hotel turn golden.
This hotel also has some special advantages: for example, breakfast is served until 11 AM and includes a dedicated children's dining area. From 9 PM to 11 PM, there's a late-night canteen offering various snacks and instant noodles from all over the world (literally every type of noodle from everywhere!). The concierge team's service is also very attentive and prompt.
What can I say? Perfect weather, perfect hotel – 100 out of 10 points! 🥰

The hotel was busy, but the staff helped upgrade our room type. Special thanks to Benson & Sandy for their thoughtful service. The concierge staff were also very proactive in helping with our golf bags and luggage. I'll definitely be back for my next golf trip!

Deserves a solid 5 out of 5! I originally booked this place because of its existing 4.9 rating, and after staying for two nights, it totally exceeded my expectations. Great value for money! 1. The location is right between West Lake, Lingyin Temple, and Liuhe Pagoda, making it super convenient to get anywhere. 2. The courtyard garden is beautiful, and having breakfast there was so relaxing. 3. The owner was extremely warm and welcoming—he provided a hand-drawn tourist map, helped me plan my daily itinerary and bus routes, and even gifted me two small tins of tea when I checked out. It felt so heartwarming. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends!

I stayed at TongAn Inn for a few days, and my overall experience was fantastic. The biggest highlight of the inn is its artistic space – the entire area is tastefully decorated, making you feel very relaxed, just like being at home.
But what surprised me most was the room. Honestly, I've only ever seen such perfect rooms in pictures. Clean, comfortable, and every detail meticulously arranged. I had a wonderfully happy stay; it was simply impeccable.
Breakfast also left me very satisfied. While the variety wasn't extensive, it was more European-style, and the condiments were served separately, allowing you to add them to your taste – unlike street food where a whole bunch is just sprinkled on directly. For a foreign tourist like me, who can't eat too much spicy food, this was a very thoughtful touch.
A special thank you goes to Ms. Qian Wei at the front desk. She was incredibly warm and patient, helping me resolve various small issues during my stay, which made me, a foreign tourist, feel particularly welcome. Although there was a language barrier, her smile and service attitude left a lasting impression on me.
If you're coming to this city and looking for a unique place to stay that isn't run-of-the-mill, I highly recommend TongAn Inn. I wish the inn thriving business and Qian Wei all the best in her work!

Guest UserThe environment is quiet and the activities are abundant. The mountain air is great, and there are golf carts to take you anywhere within the valley. This time, the pre-sale package included dining, spa, and a travel photoshoot, making it even more comprehensive and cost-effective. The room was spacious, and with the 3-day, 2-night package, you essentially didn't need any extra expenses to have a great time eating, drinking, and playing. The New Rui travel photography was also excellent; it was efficient, unlike the rushed schedules you find in city photoshoots. Outdoor natural light photography creates a different effect than indoor lighting, leading to more natural interactions. If you're driving, you can also visit Naked Castle for free. Although the Land Rover off-road experience for the entire route is charged, it's a very special experience and I personally think it's well worth it. The three days and two nights were very fulfilling, and the weather in September and October was also good. If there's a similar package next time, I'll definitely come again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Hangzhou Qiandao Lake Resort. The hotel is in a beautiful location with stunning views of the lake, and the whole resort has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean, and the facilities were excellent.
The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We especially appreciated how comfortable and welcoming the hotel was for families. It was a great place to relax, enjoy the scenery, and spend quality time together.
