A Great Seaside Retreat at East beach Sea View Hotel Qinhuangdao Beidaihe
My stay at the Sea View Hotel Qinhuangdao Beidaihe was easily the highlight of my Beidaihe trip—this is truly a gem for travelers craving a cozy and convenient coastal getaway.
Let’s start with its unbeatable location, the biggest selling point. Just steps from the beach, I could walk to the shore in 5 minutes for morning sunrise or evening strolls, and it’s also close to popular spots like Pigeon Nest Park. The surrounding area is packed with dining options, from local seafood shacks to nice restaurants, so grabbing a fresh seafood meal or casual bite never required a long drive.
The rooms exceeded my expectations too. I booked a sea-view room, and the view didn’t disappoint—large windows let in plenty of sunlight, and I could hear the waves from my bed. The space was spacious and clean, with crisp, stain-free linens and a spotless bathroom that had no odd odors. The hotel also thoughtfully provided amenities like a minibar and free Wi-Fi, which added to the convenience.
What really stood out was the service. The front desk staff were warm and responsive—when I asked about nearby attractions, they gave detailed recommendations, and when my family needed a hand with luggage, someone came right away. They even had little extras like kids’ sand toys and strollers available, which would be a lifesaver for families traveling with young ones.
If I had to mention a small flaw, a few guests noted that some bathroom fixtures felt a bit worn, but this didn’t affect my stay at all. For anyone visiting Beidaihe and wanting to be close to the sea with great service, this hotel is a no-brainer. I’ll definitely book here again next time!

Putizi6046I've stayed here a few times now, and the facilities, cleanliness, and environment are consistently excellent. However, there are quite a few issues: Firstly, the air conditioning is always too cold in summer; even with a light jacket and long pants, it's still freezing. Secondly, I tried to check in at 2:30 PM, and the front desk staff, a young man with glasses, told me my reserved room was ready and just being inspected, asking me to wait in the lobby and promising a call. After waiting for half an hour with no news, I went back to the front desk, only to find out my room key had already been processed, but no one had informed me. The staff member with glasses was also nowhere to be found. This level of service attitude and work efficiency is truly speechless. I hope the hotel strengthens its training for staff regarding their professional skills and service awareness.

TiannaigaoqieyuanThe room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The decor had a distinctly Chinese aesthetic, and the murals, which complemented the scenery, were visually striking. The balcony overlooked the coast, and since the hotel building is quite tall, the cluttered parts of the view were minimal, offering a panoramic view of the beach and sea.

Guest UserThe location is great, with many attractions nearby and close proximity to various scenic spots. Parking is very convenient, and it's also very close to the beach – just a few minutes away. The beach here is quite clean, and seeing the ocean just washes away all your worries. The hotel even provides free tools for clam digging. The room environment is also excellent, and the front desk staff are all very polite and courteous, always doing their best to arrange and solve any issues. They even gave us a free small gift when we checked out. We'll definitely bring our kids back again if we have the chance.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is super convenient, just a 10-minute walk to the beach, perfect for digging in the sand and exploring the tide pools. The front desk even gave us a fridge magnet and a small wind chime upon check-in, which was a lovely touch. My kids absolutely loved the tent in our family room. Breakfast was standard, nothing fancy but certainly enough to fill you up. The parking lot is quite spacious, which was a big plus. Overall, we had a very satisfying stay.

The restaurant downstairs was not good, small portions and expensive! (Even though it has nothing to do with the accommodation, I still have to mention it.)
Facilities: Too old and many things were broken. Plus, there was no main light. It was raining the day we arrived, and the room was so dim it was incredibly depressing!
Hygiene: Very clean, even the toilet paper dispenser was sparkling clean, not a single fingerprint!
Environment: Very good, a hotel on the reefs. You can go beachcombing and enjoy the sea just by going downstairs~

Pros: I booked a 3-day, 2-night package that included either a hot spring experience or a golf experience (60 balls). The individual charges for these weren't expensive. If the weather is bad, you can still enjoy the indoor hot springs. The large lawn is perfect for relaxing, and the sand is fine, which my child loved at the beach.
Suggestions for improvement: My 7-year-old child, just over 1.2 meters tall, was charged an additional 59 RMB at the restaurant. I suggest this policy be improved. Even if the meal fee were just included in the package price upfront, it would be better. I've stayed at many family-friendly hotels where meals for children are either complimentary or not charged extra. An additional charge feels unpleasant. The food quality was also mediocre.
It seems the shuttle bus service within the park is no longer running, even though there are signs indicating departure times. I recommend calling ahead to confirm before waiting.

First time staying at this hotel, and it was a pleasant experience avoiding the crowds. The breakfast buffet had a limited variety, but the taste was decent. The late-night snack options were a bit monotonous. The room was clean, and the service was good. I just wish there were more breakfast options. It's quite convenient for ordering takeout.

Guest UserThe Fisher Hotel in Yudaohas a fantastic array of entertainment facilities! You can catch Hollywood stunt shows, enjoy the indoor hot springs, and there's an outdoor playground. They even provide complimentary welcome fruit, which is a really thoughtful touch. The hot springs are conveniently located on the second floor of the hotel, and the water is very clean; they change it daily. They've added a lot of new attractions this year too. The hotel breakfast is delicious as well. I'll definitely choose Yudaohotels again next time.

I booked a family suite with my elderly relatives and child. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. I highly recommend Senzeyuan for families with elderly relatives and young children, as it's incredibly close to the beach and hot springs—basically, just around the corner. The room service was impeccable. Our room attendant, Qin Ying, was exceptionally attentive. She provided a fruit platter every afternoon, soft drinks in the room refrigerator, and even asked what fruit my child liked. So grateful! 😊 Yudao Island is perfect for children. They can enjoy the hot springs and water park endlessly, and the playground for little ones is also great. The outdoor non-motorized area is also a great place to stroll. Highly recommended! I don't have many photos because I was mostly swimming, so please excuse the quality.
