It was a nice stay at the hotel. The owner and staff are hospitable people, they helped to buy tickets for the show and order the taxi. They understand English. The location of the place is good, close to the mountain so you will wake up and hear the bird's tweets and enjoy mountainous view. The rooms were clean, the bathroom had enough toiletries.

Sharing an apartment building with MGM and other hotels is simple and easy to pay for one night, but you can still get pick-up and drop-off at East Station. The service is great, but there are still some areas that need improvement. For example: 1. Towels only have bath towels, which is not convenient for wiping your face and hands. 2. I understand the label equipped with a kitchen. It must be a simple small kitchen that does not actually have any heating or cooking equipment. It only has a small exhaust fan and a sink. All kitchen cabinets are closed. 3 The sound insulation is poor. The door next door slams shut. It’s past twelve o’clock upstairs and it’s the same as moving. There is a stool and table, but this kind of apartment-style living is relatively complicated, which is understandable. 4 I don’t know what the material of the bed is. It is very stuffy. I am cold and afraid of the cold. I always turn over and over, always wanting to get some air. 5 The service of the front desk girl needs to be improved. Exaggerated It feels bad to chew gum and have a conversation. I forgot my little thing and took the initiative to call. Thank you very much because I need to transfer to another city. It said collect payment and no one at home accepted the payment. But the front desk said it can only pay on a downwind basis. I can understand that it is always because I missed something. But my family received the express delivery in an oversized box with nothing in it. I don’t understand why they chose such a big box. It’s not the front desk that paid for it anyway, right?

Homestay owner 小杨 is a very nice and friendly handsome young man. He was very helpful to offer advice on where to visit, the eating places and how to get around. He even helped us to purchase online our entrance tickets to 白马寺 first when we had problem to access the local official website. Thanks again 👍🏼🙏🏼 Being a local homestay, the cleanliness part can be improved further as our room floor was dusty at the corners and also with footprints upon check in. However, 保洁阿姨 (housekeeping aunt) managed to mop our floor the next day after we feedback to owner and no more issue after that. I wld also suggest that the room corners, tabletops and bed head be checked to maintain dust/hair free We stayed 5 days 4 nights at this place. Room had a lovely view of 丽景门 which we felt as if we had travelled back in time. Not as noisy as what we had expected prior to our stay from the reviews left by other guests. Overall, we enjoyed the stay with the warm hospitality from the host and the housekeeping aunt. Aunt was very nice with us and reminded us daily to stay and wear warm enough clothing as the temperature turned cold halfway during our stay in Luoyang. Thanks and we would recommend this place! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

We had a wonderful stay at Moxy YiShu Cultural district in Xian last week. Design of the hotel is a step forward from 'old school' & is full of vitality. Its central location right next to the Bell Tower is so convenient to visitors. The staff is extremely friendly & helpful. Joy from the front desk took us to the bus stop after work to ensure that we could find our way the subsequent morning. Her colleagues at the front desk working the morning shift are equally helpful in working out WeChat payments with us. The team really made us feel at home. We would definitely recommend Moxy to anyone visiting Xian.

Pros&Cons : Location is within Luoyi Ancient City. Although it is nearer to the north gate it felt like the same as from the south gate. There is no direct vehicle access into the tourist place (景区). Be prepared to walk about 500m with your baggage or call in advance to the hotel for assistance. The reception lobby is 2nd level, unfortunately the escalatilor from street level wasn't working. But thanks to good service staff like XiaoShi(小石), he was helpful in bringing the baggage up. Outside the lobby were a few peacocks which were pleasing to the eyes. The package came with tea snacks, breakfast and a 3 hr experience with Hanfu （汉服体验）which is like cosplay where you dressed up in traditional chinese outfits and take photos in the ancient city. So that's great value. Special shout out to Xiaoshi who asked a few times if there's anything he could be of service. Overall a comfortable spot for cultural immersion.

- The location is great, just in front of a metro station, and the metro station is the one where the only 2 metro lines intersect. There are many shops and things to eat around. - The room was in general clean. However, the hotel's corridors were extremely dirty... the carpet in the corridors going to the rooms was very dirty, it looks like a vacuum cleaner is not used there since weeks ago... The mobiliary in the corridors is covered in dust as well. - The breakfast is not bad, but I found a hair in my rice... the first day there was a microwave completely covered in dust. The next day was cleaned. - The staff does not speak English at all, not a word... and they don't make the minimum effort to help you to understand what they are saying. I have stayed in many hotels in China, normally they use apps for translation to communicate with you. In this hotel, they don't even try.
