Room size is a bit small & the room allocated to us is having problem with hot water shower. However, the hotel is kind enough to provide another room for us to shower.

The location is fantastic, right in the CBD, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The surrounding area is lovely. The room was surprisingly spacious with two single beds and a king-size bed, and the shower area was separate. The facilities are a bit dated but perfectly functional for daily needs. Highly recommended!
Lovely vibes, cool chill areas, community bar and community events plus the staff especially the lovely guy who booked me in was Amazing. However it's a very crappy old building with Nil working properly showers and broken toilets. I had 1 night in a nice female room which I barely even saw as I was out and Tried to rest at a 2nd booking being shoved into a mixed smelly weird noisy dorm on a top bunk with ****** knocking on the door at all hrs, one guy snoring and another twat on the phone I told off. Was stressful and I hadn't a Warm shower in a working functioning bathroom in 2 days. Not returning. If you like noisy rude tourists and old buildings with no lift carrying your bags everywhere and no showers, great!

I recently stayed at Quality Hotel Westmeadows for the second time and once again I wasn't disappointed.
The whole process was seamless, from choosing my standard of room to phoning them on my arrival at Melbourne airport and phoning for their complementary shuttle bus service
I had a 10 minute wait for the nice shuttle bus driver and when you arrive at reception after a 5 minute trip you are greeted by the most friendly team.
My room poolside was absolutely spotless and had everything I needed for the night. It was also very quiet despite being close to a busy road.
I had buffet breakfast which had a good selection plus surprisingly good coffee from a little machine.
I had a very pleasant chat with the lovely lady who runs the buffet.
Just a quick 5 minute walk up the road are a few good eateries and a little further along a couple of fast food places. I really can't fault the place or the staff and confidently recommend it to anyone wanting the convenience of a place to stay close to the airport at a good price.
super lovely staff, let me check in abit earlier and plenty of space in the room with comfy bed :) right near tramline and 15ish min walk to palais theatre where i had a concert so super convenient! no elevator incase you have big luggage but it was fine for me and super cool artwork around the place. thanks!
The hotel is quite close to the Gold Rush town area; there's practically a path leading directly from within the area. Especially if you're participating in the Gold Rush town's aura activities, the evening shuttle will take you to the closest point on foot to the hotel.
However, I opted to park my car in the Gold Rush town entrance parking lot during the day, and then retrieve it afterward and drive to the hotel entrance to check in. Both options seem quite convenient.
As for the hotel itself, the exterior resembles a rural Australian building from the last century, likely an intentional attempt to match the Gold Rush town's vintage style.
The rooms are more like the style of European or American school campuses I've seen before, with red brick walls, and even the bedding and bathroom feel quite similar. Overall, it's decent, the interior is acceptable for its price, which is quite reasonable for the Ballarat area.
There's no 24-hour front desk; you have to call and wait for someone to come to check in and out. This seems to be common in many places in Australia.

How to put it? For this price in Melbourne's city center, it's pretty good. It's a small hotel but has everything you need. However, precisely because the price is affordable, there are bound to be drawbacks, so you might want to check if you can accept them first. Firstly, the room is small. Secondly, the Wi-Fi is very slow, almost unusable. Thirdly, there's virtually no soundproofing; you can hear people talking very clearly, and sometimes even when the neighbor flushes the toilet. Lastly, the door isn't very secure; there's a pretty large gap, allowing you to see the hallway from inside. Similarly, I feel that if someone outside intended to peek, they could see into the room. It seems like this hotel has many flaws, but you can't beat the price! If you can accept these points, the experience is actually quite good.
Very happy with our choice to stay at the Royal Hotel by Nightcap Social. The room was tidy, modern and comfortable. Our only slight concern and room for improvement would be a more thorough cleaning of the bottom of the shower and a service to the air conditioner, other than that, absolutely no complaints! Staff were friendly, room service food was excellent, shared amenities were clean and welcoming, overall a pleasant place to stay. Would recommend and would stay again.

The room was incredibly small; three people couldn't even open their suitcases at the same time in a triple room. Plus, the soundproofing was poor, which affected our sleep. However, it had all the basic necessities. One thing to note is that Didi International doesn't pick up here; you have to go next door.
Very Good
