We loved our short stay. Location is perfect as only few minutes walk to cable car station to visit Tianmen mountains. Local bus to Avatar mountains departs near the hotel. Plenty local food around as well as McDonalds and Starbucks round the corner. Room had nice bathtube inside the room which has nice views of surroding buildings. Will recommend staying in here 🙂

The B&B's location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for getting around, especially to Hongqiao North Gate Pier. It's newly renovated, so all the facilities and equipment are in great working order, and it's spotlessly clean with no strange odors. The owner is incredibly kind; they contacted us in advance to help us with our luggage from the roadside and even upgraded our room! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Fenghuang.

The service here is impeccable, even better and more attentive than a five-star hotel, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The location is absolutely fantastic. However, the soundproofing in the rooms is terrible. You can clearly hear the TV next door, the window panes don't close properly, and the air conditioning unit outside is directly facing the window on the same floor, rumbling non-stop. Downstairs, the noise from restaurants and their loudspeakers is relentless, with several places competing to be the loudest. Forget about sleeping; you even have to raise your voice just to talk. The hotel's response was both helpful and a bit helpless: no matter how late, you can always ask the front desk for earplugs, hahaha. Honestly, in all my years of traveling, I've never encountered a place this noisy – not even a bustling market street!

The hotel's location is fantastic, right on Taiping Street, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station. Downstairs, you can find stinky tofu, grilled skewers, and bubble tea. It's also a short walk to Wuyi Square. There's a mini-fridge at the front desk for convenience. The staff at the front desk were lovely too. Highly recommend!

The owner was incredibly kind and helpful! They went above and beyond, patiently helping us plan our route so we wouldn't get lost. What really touched me was when our car broke down; they tirelessly called repair shops for us until it was fixed. We were so lucky to encounter such a wonderful owner! Thumbs up to them! 👍

My stay here was fantastic. The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to the Tianmen Mountain cable car. It made getting an early start effortless; I could practically step out the door and hop on the cable car. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made me feel right at home. I was also pleasantly surprised by a thoughtful welcome gift they prepared. The gift included hand warmers, which were an absolute lifesaver on Tianmen Mountain as it was incredibly cold up there. This small detail really stuck with me and showed how much thought the hotel puts into their guests' experience. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay, and if I ever come back to this area, I would definitely choose this hotel again.

There is a large parking lot downstairs, parking is free, there are many breakfast shops and Chinese restaurants next to the hotel to choose from, and there is a laundry room and dryer on the 3rd floor, which is quite convenient. It is recommended to stay here.

The overall stay experience is great! The e-sports equipment configuration is very high, the computer runs smoothly, the large-scale games are fully open and the picture quality is not stuck, and the network speed is stable and there is no delay. The room is clean and tidy, there is no smell, the tables and chairs are comfortable, the sedentary playing games are not tired, the front desk service is warm, the price is very high, the first choice for black, come back next time!

Maosao Inn has a very good location with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. You can walk to the East Gate of the national park or take a short Didi for about 1€. It is also around 15 minutes to the bus station, which is convenient for getting to Zhangjiajie West Railway Station for high speed trains or to Tianmen Mountain without needing an expensive taxi. I was able to check in early, which was very helpful after arriving in bad weather. The room was quite large and looked nice at first, but overall the place feels more like a hostel than a hotel. It is quite worn in some areas and a few things are slightly broken, like blinds and small fixtures, so it does not feel very new. Cleanliness was okay but not perfect, with some stains and dust in places. The shower worked well. WiFi was average. Breakfast had some variety, including a few Western options, but it felt more like basic hostel style food rather than high quality or freshly prepared meals. Staff were fine and helped with basic questions in a straightforward way. Walls are very thin, so it can be noisy. Overall, it is a budget hostel style accommodation with private rooms. Not a highlight, but fine and practical for a short stay. See photo for WeChat mini program to access cameras in nationalpark.

The room facilities were good, the service was excellent, and the place was clean and tidy. The location was great with many restaurants nearby, and there was free parking. The front desk offered complimentary candy and tea. The hot water in the room was superb, and the bathroom had a smart toilet. The room also had a large projector for watching movies. The hotel also offered free use of the washing machine and dryer. I really liked the newly renovated room, and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended; I would stay here again next time.

CChaya🇨🇳 Ho Perfect if you're entering via the East Gate! Beautiful rooms, amazing service. Keep this in mind for your trip! 📌 🛏️ 1. Exactly as pictured & Great value for money - The room is fantastic, very new, and spotlessly clean. I booked a room with a bathtub and got the 4th floor. It looked exactly like the photos. The price in late March was amazing—less than $30/night (getting a bathtub at this price is super worth it!). The furniture looks brand new. - The bathroom is great, with clearly separated wet and dry zones. It has a smart toilet with a heated seat and auto-flush! - Amenities are quite complete. However, the hotel provides disposable towels. If you have a larger build, they might not cover you completely (I'm petite, so it didn't bother me), but the material is highly absorbent. - Good to know: the building has an elevator, but you do have to carry your luggage up a few steps to reach the entrance, so it's not 100% wheelchair accessible. But once inside, you can comfortably use the elevator without carrying your bags up to the higher floors. 📍 2. Quiet location but easy to get around - The hotel is slightly tucked away from the busy, bright areas, making it very quiet and perfect for a good night's sleep. - Getting to the park is super easy. You can catch a Didi to the East Gate, and it’s very cheap—only about $0.70 per ride. - As for food, even though it's not right next to convenience stores or restaurants, you can easily order food delivery. If you want to eat out, you can take a Didi or walk to the restaurant area. It's not far, less than 1 kilometer away. 👩🏻💼 3. Friendly owner & Excellent service - The owner manages the reception herself and is extremely hospitable. She gives great advice on exploring the park. Whether you plan a 1-day or 2-day itinerary, she can recommend the perfect walking route. I planned a 2-day trip, so she suggested entering via the East Gate on the first day and the South Gate on the second day. - She is always in a good mood and genuinely seems to love her work. Her bright energy makes talking to her an absolute joy 🤣 I was so impressed! - Her English is okay for basic communication, but for convenience and speed, we used WeChat. The translation feature made it smooth, and we understood each other perfectly. 🎟️ 4. Better ticket discounts through the hotel - I highly recommend this! If you need tickets, let the hotel book them for you—the prices are actually better than booking through popular travel apps. - Whether it's the national park ticket (she also helps book your entry time slot for every day you plan to visit—though if you want to change the time, you need to ask her to update it for you), Baofeng Lake, or the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, she can get them at a cheaper price. - Another perk is the unpredictable weather in Zhangjiajie. Letting her book day-by-day or close to the date means you don't have to risk booking too far in advance. I changed my plan easily because of fog and rain, and it was completely stress-free. 🚑 5. A personal note of gratitude (why I'm writing this review so long) Late at night on March 25th, I had a medical emergency. I reached out to the owner, and she was incredibly helpful. She actually left the hotel counter to take me to the hospital and helped sort everything out 😭🙏 (I truly apologize to the other guests staying that night!). I was so touched and grateful, and didn't know how else to repay her, so I wanted to write this review to pass on the good word. Summary: This stay was super comfortable and truly heartwarming. Not only because of how much she helped me, but the rooms and facilities are genuinely excellent. If you're looking for a place to stay, please keep this hotel in mind! ❤️

GGuest UserThis hotel exceeded our expectations! They even upgraded our room without us asking, which was a lovely surprise. My child immediately declared it the best hotel we've stayed in so far! It's conveniently located right by the subway station, with direct access to the hotel's B1 level. Popular areas like Wuyi Square are just one or two stops away. I didn't take any photos of the interior, but it looks exactly like the pictures they advertised.

GGuest UserOur stay at this minsu was absolutely superb. The location is extremely convenient, making it easy to get around and explore. The room facilities are truly 5-star standard, and the cleanliness is impeccable—definitely deserving of a 5-star rating. What impressed us most was the staff. Every single one of them was incredibly friendly, warm, and always ready to help with anything we needed. As a lovely bonus, complimentary desserts were provided every night, which made our stay even more special. Highly recommended, and we would definitely come back again!

GGuest UserI arrived to Wulingyuan quite late and the owner of the hotel, Susie, stayed up to help me check in. She and her husband were very hospitable and gave me tips on what to do as well as helped me plan an enjoyable walking route for one of the mornings, which was much more peaceful and serene than the typical spots. If you are visiting Zhiangjiajie, she can help you with booking your entry pass and reservations as well as give you tips on how to get between locations and what to do, so you don't necessarily need to pay extra for a tour. Room and bed were large, bathroom was modern.

SShengzhewuxinThis was my third trip to Zhangjiajie, and after visiting the bustling East and South gates before, I decided to enter through the West gate this time. This guesthouse is absolutely a hidden gem nestled within the mountains and rivers of Zhangjiajie, offering the most healing and immersive nature experience I've ever had. The guesthouse is located inside the West Gate scenic area, right next to Xiangzi Stream. To check in, you first cross a covered bridge, with the clear, gentle sounds of the babbling stream all around – just listening to it is incredibly therapeutic. You could easily spend a long time just daydreaming on that bridge. Surrounded by mountains and forests, the air is fresh and moist. There's no noisy crowd, just the chirping of birds and the accompanying stream, truly making you feel like you're living within the scenery. It's very friendly for self-driving tourists. You can drive your car directly into the scenic area. Just contact the owner in advance, and they'll come out to greet you, guide you to parking, and even have charging piles available. It's about a 500-meter walk to the Yangjiajie cable car, so getting up a bit early allows you to get ahead of the crowds. A quick start often leads to a quick journey overall, helping you avoid the throngs in the evening. I absolutely must give a special shout-out to the landlady. She is incredibly warm and thoughtful. I learned through conversation that she used to be an executive at an international five-star hotel brand. Because of this, the guesthouse exudes professionalism and refinement, from its service to its amenities. The bedding (the same kind used in Grand Hyatt hotels), towels, and toiletries are all configured to five-star hotel standards, offering a soft and comfortable feel. The mattress, in particular, is perfectly balanced – not too soft, not too hard, with excellent support. Combined with the quiet surroundings and falling asleep to the sound of Xiangzi Stream, my sleep quality was superb, and all my travel fatigue was relieved in just one night. The guesthouse is relatively new, so all the facilities are pristine and well-maintained, clean, tidy, and stylish. I highly recommend room 101, a stilt house (with a 270-degree mountain view). The view is absolutely stunning; opening the window reveals lush green mountains and a flowing stream, with distant mountains and nearby water all within sight, providing an unparalleled viewing experience. Nearby, you can pick fresh wild vegetables and organic vegetables grown on-site. They are picked fresh from the fields, ensuring tender, pollution-free ingredients. The guesthouse also provides a kitchen for guests to use, so you can cook the wild vegetables and organic produce you've picked into homemade dishes, savoring the fresh and natural taste. During leisure time, the owner also prepares high-quality mulberry tea and coffee beans. Sipping tea by a fireside in the courtyard, admiring the mountain views, and listening to the murmuring stream – these slow-paced moments are incredibly relaxing and comfortable. It's truly the life one dreams of. It's perfectly suited for an extended stay.

XXiaoqinglongbushichongLocation: The hotel is located in the old town commercial area of Zhangjiajie, surrounded by many malls and restaurants. From a living environment and convenience perspective, it deserves a high rating.👍 Facilities: The shower gets a perfect score of 100! 💯 The super large showerhead made showering incredibly comfortable, washing away a whole day's fatigue. The bed was also very cozy; a great experience! 🙏 Service: The front desk staff (both male and female) deserve a perfect score of 100! 💯 Check-in was super fast, and I even received a small gift upon arrival. When I came down for breakfast and realized I forgot my room card, they immediately issued a new one for me. They also gave me popcorn bags to pack some food for my family in the room, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. The rice noodles for breakfast weren't good; I should have ordered the noodles like other guests. My mistake! However, the egg wine was superb; I highly recommend everyone try it! 🥰🥰 Cleanliness: Very clean, nothing to complain about. The room also provided laundry detergent, so I could wash socks and such. If you need to do laundry, the hotel offers a free laundry service, which is super convenient. This is a hidden gem of a hotel, and I'll definitely come back next time. Highly recommended to everyone! ❤️ Best wishes.

AAnonymous UserAmazing time at Wulingyuan! We had a great experience at this hotel! The guy at the reception was extremely kind and helpful. He even offered us a free update to a room with additional amenities. Unfortunately, I do not remember his name but he provided a lot of useful information about Wulingyuan and Zhangjiajie national park. The room was clean and spacious. It has a nice view of the river and the hotel has a great location too. Unfortunately, the hotel does not have a restaurant but it is surrounded by several places to eat. It takes around 25 minutes to walk to arrive at the park entrance or 5 minutes by taxi. The checkout is late so it allows us to enjoy the morning before our departure. The owner even gave us a magnet when checking out, he was extremely kind. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe room was very clean. There's also a self-service washing machine and dryer on the fourth floor. The soundproofing could be better, and the 'stargazing room' effect wasn't great, though most people probably aren't booking it for that. Overall, it's pretty good, and it's not far from the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

MM16192****This has to be the most surprisingly excellent B&B I've ever stayed in. My entire stay was very satisfying. **Facilities**: Smart home features throughout, 270-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, toiletries, bedding, and all amenities are a cut above even mid-range hotels. **Cleanliness**: Extremely neat and clean. **Environment**: The view outside the window is also great. There's a stream opposite, said to be a downstream section of Jinbian Stream. The back street has many restaurants, and there are several popular '网红' (influencer-favorite) restaurants within 1-2 kilometers. I recommend '大队老渔村' (Dadui Old Fishing Village). **Service**: This is where it truly outshines many other B&Bs. The owner even personally drives you to the train station, and the proprietress is incredibly thoughtful and enthusiastic. The breakfast is also very rich and plentiful.

It's right above the Huangxing Square subway station in the city center, making transportation incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. The front desk staff are very welcoming, and they even offer a complimentary 'Good Night Porridge' delivered to your room in the evenings. Breakfast has a rich variety and tastes great. It's definitely my top choice for accommodation when visiting Changsha. There's also a rooftop terrace, which is perfect for enjoying a breeze and very relaxing.
