Fantastic location - very close to the docks and city centre with a train station next door (which we never heard!). Room was clean but only 1 towel each with no bathroom hand towel. Shelves had seen better days but were ok, TV was small/older but not a massive problem for us… air con was very good, quiet whilst keeping the room cool! Single beds were comfy but quite small - might be because I am used to a king size at home though! Shower was good, with nice shower gel/shampoo! Overall very happy with my stay for the price - recommended!

My Stay at Knowsley Inn & Lounge: A Delightful Weekend Getaway Just wrapped up a lovely weekend at Knowsley Inn & Lounge and wanted to share my experience! At £124.90 for two nights, it offered great value for a weekend escape from the hustle and bustle. The location on Ribblers Lane in Knowsley (L34 9HA) was perfect for what I needed. While not directly in Liverpool city center, it provided a more relaxed atmosphere while still being accessible to attractions. The area had a pleasant suburban feel that made for peaceful evenings after busy days exploring. I stayed from **Saturday, August 9 to Monday, August 11, 2025** — a nice two-night weekend break. Check-in after 2 PM was straightforward and efficient, and the 11 AM check-out time gave me plenty of time to get ready without feeling rushed on my final morning. The property itself had a charming character (I could see the building facade in the booking thumbnail), and everything inside was well-maintained and comfortable. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, making the whole experience feel welcoming and relaxed. What I particularly appreciated was the **all-inclusive pricing** — the £124.90 covered everything with no hidden charges or surprise fees at checkout. The Trip.com booking process was seamless, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence when booking. The ”Message Property” and ”Call Property” features on the app came in handy when I needed to ask about local transport options. Being able to communicate directly through the app rather than making international calls was super convenient. Is it the most luxurious place I've ever stayed? No, but it doesn't claim to be. Knowsley Inn & Lounge delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, clean, and pleasant place to stay at a reasonable price point. **Would I recommend it?** Absolutely! If you're looking for a nice weekend retreat in the Knowsley area with good amenities and friendly service, this place ticks all the boxes. Perfect for couples or solo travelers wanting to explore Liverpool and the surrounding areas without breaking the bank.

The hotel was really lovely. Most of the time we were greeted with friendliness. It was very clean and tidy. We changed our room from a twin to a double and there were no issues with that. I was disappointed that the spa leisure facilities were closed as it was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. Some of the decor is a bit dated but there are some lovely period features that enhance the hotels ambiance. A very good location for anyone arriving into Liverpool Lime Street.

top location for a hotel, barring the sounds of nightlife nearby, which you CAN go to! staff were very friendly, the room i stayed in was absolutely clean, bed was comfy, shower was decent and had a great night! the only problems i had was with the lighting bedside - it kept flickering on and off rapidly after i turned the switch on, the windows were broken and unable to open and even though i didn't buy them you have to pay for water and tea for a kettle which isn't what most hotels do, but the scale of the issues had little impact for staying 1 night

The hotel was ideally situated where we didn't have to walk far to the venues which were approx 6-10 minutes walk. The hotel has a large underground car park that kept our car safe and secure, not many hotels have a bar and seating for guests which we thought was convenient, the room was modern, very clean and loved the high pressure shower that is adjustable, breakfast was lovely we prefer a full English with all the trimmings, though there is the continental option and as it was a buffet we ate as much as we pleased. Lots of things to do and see in Liverpool and a large shopping centre that we discovered on our way back from the Cavern club and eateries on the dock side All in all a brilliant first stay in this hotel and 2nd time in Liverpool...oh and a shout out to the receptionist who helped me with our parking, very patient. We are planning our next stay at this hotel for the near future.

Perfect location. Walking distance to main locations and city centre. We had a private room with bathroom, so can’t really say how was it in share rooms. We had big windows in our room but not really nice view. However, we didn’t went there to look outsid the window. Very clean place overall, looks like newly refurbished. Very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

We stayed here the night before creamfeilds I will start with the good points .. Staff 10/10 so helpful and very good customer services skills.. cleanliness was top notch, the breakfast was plentiful, the mattress in the bed room was actually one of the most comfortable hotel mattresses I have stayed on and I was thinking we would get a lovely nights rest before our festival but on to the bad points. we had the worst nights sleep of our lives our room was facing the road. Now this road is busy throughout the whole of the night. It is non stop, you can hear every car, every lorry, every motor bike, every horn every engine zooming past all throughout the whole night ! We barely slept a wink !! We was shattered the next day. We told the staff the manager said to go through the app we booked on and we can get 20% back as they would of gave us a free breakfast for our trouble but we had already bought one . The manager and receptionist were so lovely. They do know this is an issue and have been trying to get something implemented from the company to resolve this issue as it’s not just us who have complained about this .. and unfortunately I would not stay here again until the issue is resolved and they got the triple glazing windows to reduce noise otherwise I would much rather book another hotel without the noise issues so I could get a good nights rest ..

Negative points from our stay I travelled with my 11 year old grandson, I booked us a twin room, which we got. Unfortunately, the room was an adjoining room to a double and the ”activity” noises from the other room were so bad that we checked out at 11pm as I didn't want my grandson to have to experience that. It literally sounded like they were in the room with us. I would perhaps suggest that in the future you look at your guest list and unless adjoining rooms are with the same party, where children are in a twin, look to accommodate the couple in another part of the hotel where possible. I was disappointed that we were expected to pay £5 each to use the pool as I have never stayed at an hotel where it is not included in the room price. Positive All the staff were really friendly and helped as much as they could. The night Duty Manager was especially helpful and empathetic to my room dilemma but was unable to find us an alternative twin room, only a double which was not appropriate for us. We ate in the bar and the food was exceptional although a little pricey. The location was good and the hotel was easy to find. Be careful when you leave as there are two speed bumps on the exit, and no matter how slow you are going, it feels and sounds like your cars insides are dropping out. Rooms were spotless and beds very comfortable.

The apartment is very close to the train station about 4 mins walk. Inside is bright, clean and comfortable very suitable for family and friend gathering. Highly recommended!!
