Hotel is in a great spot for doing Shimanami Kado cycling route. Breakfast has a good selection. Room size is reasonably ok for Japan hotels. Room is able to store bike if needed
I was very impressed with this hotel as I had read some reviews that mentioned it is a little older than the average property but it was sparkling clean with lovely facilities and guest rooms. The location is perfect for visiting the three famous onsen hot springs facilities and the hotel actually provide special clothing to make visiting the onsens easier and more authentic. Parking is available for a fee and there is a small restaurant/bar onsite. This is a ripper of a hotel.
This really is the legendary couples' hotel, definitely not suitable for those with small children (you know what I mean!). But seriously, this is the biggest room I've ever stayed in in Japan!!! The room was so big we could open both our suitcases without them getting in the way. The bed was definitely a king-size. They also offer breakfast and free parking. All in all, for me, there are no downsides!!! I loved everything about it. I would definitely stay again.
Location 1
Directly across from Imabari Port, 3 minutes? It was so wonderful.
The view of Imabari Castle from the room was great.
2. Service: Absolutely fantastic.
This was my first time seeing a place that offered unlimited candy and chocolates.
So, of course, they had bath products like toothpaste, toothbrushes, and razors, and they also had about 10 different bath bombs (if you bought them at a store, you'd have to pay at least 3,000 won each, but they provided 10 different types for free). It was amazing and fascinating.
3. Breakfast: The best.
Even if you pay out of pocket or pay extra, you absolutely must try this hotel's breakfast. They cook it right in front of you early in the morning—you can watch it being prepared.
Not only the Japanese set menu, but even the toast is truly top-notch.
Grilled sea bream is always served as a side dish, and it's even better than at a regular restaurant.
They also serve fantastic fried eggs, a uniquely Japanese half-moon shape—when you cut it open with a spoon, it's slightly soft-boiled and bursts with a burst of flavor.
If you're visiting Imabari, be sure to stay here.
Are there any guests? I wanted to eat breakfast and dinner - if you pay extra at the hotel, you don't have to go to an outside restaurant. You can have it served until 3 p.m.
There are no seats available during meal times, lol.
While there are a lot of people at the hotel, it's quiet.
I really, really recommend this hotel.
Oh, you can take the bus to Imabari Futo Station. I took the bus from Matsuyama to Imabari and back. The bus fare was 1,200 yen. ^^
The bus was really convenient and on time. It never arrived even a minute late.
Good location. The hotel locates near Matsuyama City Tram Station where is also the terminal station of airport bus. Matsuyama port is just 20 minutes train ride away. One may walk up to the Matsuyama Castle from the hotel within 40 minutes. The castle tram station and the Okaido shopping area are also within walking distance.
Staff were friendly with satisfactory services and amenities.
However it was always crowded at breakfast time.
Be reminded it's Matsuyama City Station but not the JR Matsuyama Station (JR).
Being right next to Okaido, it was incredibly convenient to get around Matsuyama. Especially with the rail pass, I could ride the tram for free. I was very satisfied with the hotel, and the room was spacious and comfortable for a solo traveler. Please note that the bathroom and toilet are separate, and the TV is wall-mounted, so no HDMI connection is available.
This hotel is very conveniently located. It's within walking distance of the ropeway to Matsuyama Castle and very close to trams going in both directions around the city center. My wife and I would definitely stay here again; it's less congested than the Dogo Onsen area. The staff are all very kind. The bed was very comfortable.
Although the accommodation wasn't a new building, it was clean and nice, perhaps because it was well-maintained. It was close to the Okaido Shopping Street, making it easy to enjoy the many things there. Matsuyama Castle was also within walking distance. I think it took about 10 minutes (it felt too short, considering I took morning and evening walks).
Breakfast didn't offer a huge selection, but it was filled with delicious dishes, including mackerel, jakoten, and a daily changing selection of meats. I was surprised by how sweet the paprika in the salad was (I still laugh thinking about it). I don't like salad, but I kept eating the paprika (it was by far the best paprika I've ever had).
The location was also less than a five-minute walk from the tram stop.
If I had to point out a downside, it would be that, like most accommodations in Japan, it felt cramped and there were quite a few bars and restaurants nearby that were open late at night. Other than that, it was very pleasant.
The location is excellent, very close to the JR station, making it super convenient. While the room was a bit on the small side, it was impeccably clean. A really nice touch was the self-service amenity bar on the second floor, offering a wide variety of toiletries. Very thoughtful!

GGuest UserThe staff was extremely friendly. It was a raining day. In case to get wet, he told me to park at their hall way and take the luggage in. I can either leave the car key to the front desk or park the car in the parking lot. It's so sweet of the staff. I do love their service so far.
Later on, when I got into the room, I found out that I booked a smoking room, the wrong room type of what I needed. I am allergic to the smoking room. I asked the staff to help out. He went to the manager and my room was swapped to ”301”. So Awesome!! I was upgraded to a huge family room with 2 big beds and a big long sofa. I believe that was their last non-smoking room since that was a Saturday night. Thank you so so much. I do appreciate that.
The hotel is across from the JP station. It is so convenient to get almost everything.
What a wonderful experience to stay at Uwajima Terminal Hotel!!
Thanks a million!!
GGuest UserThe owner's wife and a female staff member gave us a very detailed explanation. The facilities were very clean. There was a designated bicycle parking shed, so we felt safe.
The hostel was nice, so we were able to relax and enjoy our stay.
몽몽쉘통통It's a little far from the main street, but it was nice. The staff was good at English and it was convenient, and when I asked them not to clean the room, they hung towels at the door. Thank you
GGuest UserVery impressive arranegment and hospitality. I had a cycling accident in Seto inland sea and requested a delay checkin. The hotel texted me to offer assistance. Upon knowing my injury, the hotel upgraded me to a big private room for which i did not have to walk upstairs to my room and there was a private bath room inside. When i arrived at late night, all food were well prepared on table whilst fresh sushi were stored in the fridge. The hotel is a traditional Japanese hostel with warm hospitality and nice massage facilities. Surely will pick it when travel there again.

GGuest UserA sparkling new hotel with onsen and free flow welcome drinks (beer is limited to 1 per pax) but was still great. We stayed as a group of cyclist after completing the Shimanami kaido and the hotel was a great addition to end the ride. The onsen was heaven. The hotel is within minutes from the Station and bus stop, so definitely a plus. Eateries was just across the road with many options. Breakfast was simple but you can't beat it for the price.
GGuest UserHotel has some distance from the main Dogo mall but it has shuttle bus running every 10 mins from 3-10. Hotel itself is very clean and most of the staff were so friendly and carried traditional Japanese good manner.
My room is Japanese style and I love it. The breakfast was ok but the dinner was abundant, delicious and presented nicely. The staff named Itsuki Deguchi who took care my check in and dining service did a good job worthy to receive compliments.
Onsen was clean and very nice.
Will stay again next time
RR423It was nice that the inside of the building had a white-based atmosphere and was clean. At check-in, I was recommended to take a ticket for a nearby hot spring facility, but I decided to use the bath in the room.
The bathtub was deep and the bathroom itself was able to relax with a size that could not be considered in other hotels.
The room was also large and comfortable!
The wind was strong when checking out, so the front desk was worried about the wind and the response was nice
