We had a wonderful stay at Kaze Box. The house is spotless, cosy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen has an induction stove, pots, pans, and other essentials for anyone who enjoys cooking. There’s also a washing machine and dryer, which were incredibly convenient, especially for a longer stay. The layout is perfect, with a comfortable living and dining area on the ground floor and two cosy bedrooms upstairs. One thoughtful touch we really appreciated was the charging ports provided in every room. If you’re travelling with children, you’ll love the collection of books and toys that help keep the little ones entertained. Parking couldn’t be more convenient, with a dedicated space located right outside the house. The location is excellent too. Happy and Halows supermarkets are only about a 5-minute drive away, and there’s a 7-Eleven just a 5-minute walk from the property, making it easy to pick up groceries or snacks at any time. The owner has clearly put a lot of thought into making guests feel welcome and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped place to stay.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I had a lovely interaction with one young lady from Jiangxi who even asked if I knew her home province – and yes, thanks to my middle school geography lessons, I certainly did! They offered a good selection of complimentary small drinks. There's a supermarket right across the street and an outlet mall nearby, making it very convenient for shopping.

We are a family travelling with 3 kids so we drive a car, and factored in luggage space. 1) Vessel hotel has hands-down one of the best beds ever! We checked and realised it was a Simmons mattress so the beds really offered us deep & restful sleep!! Love this! 2) The carpark was right outside the hotel so it was super convenient not having to walk up & down diff storeys to take things from car. We returned to hotel ard 10pm on 1 night & there were no more parking lots! We’d have to park at a multi-storey building that was 12mins walk away, which wld have been v convenient. 3) The breakfast was yummy. We went in summer & enjoyed the Barazushi (Okayama special during festivals) & the rice was sweet, salty, flavourful, and delicious with prawn, eggs, eel, lotus roots (see pic). Really yummy! Try it 4) Hotel staff were very helpful! We asked for an extra luggage stand so we wldnt need to bend too low & they brought it immediately. 5) There’s a big supermarket just across the road with cheap groceries that we stocked up on for our road trip. 6) If you intend to drive, this is a highly recommend hotel in Kurashiki!! Wld stay here again! It was great!

This was my first time staying at a hotel. I had been staying at a friend's house for six days and only stayed for one night, but the staff were incredibly friendly. The breakfast was free but tastier than what you'd pay for, and the staff were especially kind. Since I booked a one-night stay in a hurry, only non-smoking rooms were available, so I ended up in a smoking room. When I mentioned the smell of cigarettes, they spent two hours removing the odor. I plan to book a stay here again if I visit.

Facilities: New, with a free public bath on the top floor. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: Excellent location, just a 10-minute walk to the station and outlet mall. Service: Warm and attentive, with complimentary bottled water in the room and a free coffee bar on the eleventh floor.

This hotel in Okayama was by far the most comforting and reassuring place I stayed on my trip – I absolutely loved it! It's everything I imagine a Japanese hotel to be: minimalist yet stylish, and impeccably clean. The location right in front of the JR station is super convenient, making it an easy walk without any hassle. Even if it's windy or raining, getting out is no problem at all. I highly recommend this hotel; I'd definitely return to Okayama just to stay here again.

It's very close to Okayama Castle, but the self check-in process was a bit cumbersome. The soundproofing in the room could also be improved. What was truly unacceptable was the room's cleanliness; there was a significant amount of hair on both the bed and the floor, making it feel like it hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time.

This was my first time in Okayama, and I chose this hotel. They offer free breakfast and dinner. The breakfast is a buffet with both Western and Japanese options, so you can choose what you like. For dinner, there are two choices: a rotating daily set meal or a fixed curry rice dish. The public bath is a bit small, but it's fine for about four or five people. The hotel is about an eight-minute walk from Okayama Station. There's a Don Quijote along the way, and plenty of restaurants and izakayas nearby, so there are lots of dining options. Convenience stores are also very close. The room I stayed in this time was quite spacious, even with my luggage open, there was still plenty of room. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Okayama. The only thing to be aware of is that there are about five or six steps right after you enter, which can be a bit challenging if you have heavy luggage. Otherwise, everything else was excellent.

A convenieny located and well-priced niche hotel for tourists and budget conscious individuals as it has rooms and cabins. It is situated in a building (Icot Nicot), occuoying the 6th and seventh floors. It has a big (6 pools) and a smaller (3 pools) Onsens that are rotated daily to ensure complete experience. Each Onsen has a sauna. It has a well-appointed gym sufficient for fitness conscious travellers. The breakfast offering is not as sumptuous as the demand might not be there because food is everywhere within 5 minutes from the hotel. The only drawback was the WIFI. It was weak andunreliable due to bandwidth. en too many

Small hotel with a decent-sized room. The hotel does not have its own parking but there are several paid parking options nearby. Amenities are generously provided in the lobby allowing guests to pick up what they need. Bonus points for the spacious bathroom — I especially loved the shower head which made for a very comfortable shower experience. Overall a pleasant short stay.
