2-Star Hotels in West-Flanders, Belgium

My bunkbed didn’t have a curtain so I asked to change at reception. Unfortunately, I was changed to a bunkbed next to the door which was unnecessarily loud. On my last night there there was also a constant beeping that everyone complained about. It’s a clean hostel with a pub, which was pretty cool. My room was in a building separate to the pub. The kitchen was great with a cute outside area to eat. It’s a bit of a walk to the train station but there are buses.

The hotel is a bit old, but it's clean and well-equipped. The room was small, and the outlets were inconveniently located near the floor. It's super quick to get to the station – just turn left after exiting! To get to Bruges city center, it's about a ten-minute walk. The Basilica of the Holy Blood was quite unique. I stumbled upon a market and found some really cheap food like grilled pork chops, chicken legs, and pork knuckles – I ate my fill! There's a Carrefour Express downstairs; things aren't particularly cheap, but they have 500ml cokes for €0.50, which is a good deal!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE STAFF, they were amazing and explained everything to us, I’d 100% go back and stay there, thank you for everything!

Excellent location. Highly recommended for visiting Bruges' historic center. Excellent service, very good value for money. Clean and comfortable rooms. We traveled as a couple for 3 nights and had a wonderful time.

Cheap and easy to live in, much better than the youth hostels in Brussels and Amsterdam. It is 10 minutes away from the train station and you can store your luggage for free; there is a relaxing public area with a variety of tableware and kitchen supplies, as well as free coffee and tea bags; it takes about 15 minutes to reach all attractions, and there are many other places nearby There are several supermarkets.

Super friendly and helpful staff, very clean hotel. At that price I got a clean room with working central heating, located on the second floor without an elevator. The room had a small desk without enough lighting needed to work. Lights located in the central part of the ceiling and next to bed. The bathroom had soap and bath gel/shampoo. Very nice hotel perfectly based between Oostende and Brugge. Located on a lake side, very calm position and cheaper than others. Well recommended but the shower tray sealant in the bathroom could have been changed or bleached as it was full of black mould all over. Pity as shower was good and quite wide. Room small but its an ibis budget and it is enough space for 2 people. Comfy bed too

This stay was truly wonderful. The overall environment was clean and tidy, with well-maintained and fully equipped facilities. The room was spacious and comfortable, making it easy to relax. The entire space had a warm and cozy atmosphere that felt just like home.

Goede kamer, proper en goede tv. Spijtig dat er geen klein frigo’tje in de kamer aanwezig is en dat er geen haardroger in de badkamer is. De douche is wel heel glad en gevaarlijk om te vallen.  De service was heel goed, elke dag propere handdoeken en bed goed opgemaakt. We komen zeker nog eens terug, dank u wel ibis team

When we got our room, something was wrong in the room, and I reported this and we immediately received a new room. Compact rooms, but certainly no longer need to be for a night on the coast. The room and bathroom were clean. Personally found in the breakfast a little limited, a little fruit had not been wrong. But well, they will certainly go back.
