My stay at Ibis Hotel truly highlighted the peace of mind and convenience that standardized hotel management brings. As a chain brand, every aspect, from check-in to room service, was well-organized and efficient. The staff were professional and enthusiastic, ensuring a hassle-free experience.
While the room wasn't overly spacious and felt a bit compact, it was well-designed and equipped with all necessary amenities. What truly impressed me was the cleanliness of the room. The floor, bed, and bathroom were all spotless. The sheets and duvet covers were fresh and crisp, and the bathroom was free of water stains and odors. Attention to detail was evident everywhere.
The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a short walk to both the subway and train stations, which was a real game-changer for anyone traveling by public transport. Whether catching an early morning train or returning late at night, it was stress-free and significantly saved travel time and energy. Despite the smaller room size, its outstanding cleanliness and superb location still make it a highly recommended stay.

The front desk staff were all friendly and left a good impression.
At first glance, it looked more like an ordinary private home than a hotel, but considering the location it was relatively easy to find and I didn't have to wander around looking for it.
The rooms were clean and safety was well ensured. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be that the shower and toilet were shared.
I happened to be in a room next to them so it wasn't too inconvenient.
Looking out the window with a small balcony gave me a sense of calm.

This hotel is super convenient to go anywhere. Tramp/busses are nearby the hotel. One thing is that the room is quite small but the bathroom is big. Not enough space to put my luggage and i had to put them in the bathroom instead. They have vintage elevator too!

It is a hostel so you should expect what you paid for … over all the front staff Julian and Isabelle were the nicest, the lodge is just a doorsteps to the Grindelwald Terminal … there is a transport village bus card which the front desk will give you so that you can use this to go around the Main Village and just right around Grindelwald ..
— the bad side, in mixed dorm the room is very tiny for 6beds it’s not really very comfortable specially when someone walking around with his boxer shorts 😞 … the facilities are pristine but they don’t provide towels in room you have to ask this in front desk - it’s the cheapest place in town but it’s the loveliest the bar grill is so relaxing while sipping with your ginger ale … the breakfast can’t complain it’s all delish with all those bowls of yogurt and freshly brewed coffee yum
One of the best stays I've experienced in my 12 years of travel history.Jugendherberge Schloss Burgdorf Hostel offers a unique experience, being an old castle turned into a beautiful hostel. The location is simply awesome.
However, I made a silly mistake by not calling ahead to confirm my check-in time and ended up spending a night outside in the chilly weather because the reception was closed. Thankfully, a staff member arrived the next morning at 7:00 AM and I was able to check in.
The breakfast provided is good, and the cleanliness and service are both commendable. The climb from the train station takes about 20 minutes, but it's well worth it for the incredible setting.
Overall, despite my mishap, this is one of the best hostels in Switzerland and I highly recommend it.
I booked a youth hostel by Lake Brienz because I wanted to bring my grown-up children to experience it.
The front desk starts work at 4pm. We arrived about half an hour early and waited on the chair outside the door.
Later, the front desk came out and asked and said she could work.
I took the key to the room and was given a low-rise with a backyard balcony, but the balcony was connected to the next door, a bit like the youth hostel in China.
The kitchen is shared and you wash the dishes and clean them up after use.
Some foreign youths are hostile and loud. If you are loud, they will restrain themselves. The sense of superiority and the desire to dominate can only mean that the quality is average, so don't mind it, just do your best.
In general, it's average. The sheets are clean. The three of us paid for a four-person room and there was no private bathroom, but the public bathroom and toilet were hygienic, not smelly or dirty.
Lake Brienz is beautiful in color and suitable for single stand-up paddling
It's about a 10-minute walk from Grindelwald Station, and the bus dispatch interval is long, so you have to calculate your time before moving. It was nice to be able to cook, but it wasn't very pleasant because of the smell of burnt oil in the room that doesn't go away even with ventilation. I think 1 towel per person for 2 nights was a bit too much. However, the view of the Eiger North Wall from the balcony was very beautiful enough to accommodate all these easy points.

GGuest UserVery close to Interlaken West station, just a 5-10 minute walk. Interlaken's main commercial street is right by the train station. There's a large Coop supermarket right next to the hotel; if it happens to be Sunday and it's closed, you can head to the one on the main street. There's also a Cantonese restaurant nearby with good food. I noticed a highly-rated cheese fondue restaurant on Google Maps nearby, but didn't get a chance to try it this time. Although the bathroom and toilet were shared, it felt like I had them all to myself. My single room was in the attic, which got very hot during the day. Turning off the lights and opening the skylight at night helped a bit.
CCindy Chen 888The steady stream of guests immediately tells you this is a very popular and lively hotel. The location is superb, with everything conveniently close by, including a COOP supermarket. The breakfast was very generous and extremely satisfying. I remember arriving at the hotel around 11:30 AM that day and asking the front desk staff for advice on when to go up Jungfraujoch, as I had a feeling rain was approaching. His immediate reply was: 'Go, go, go, right now!' So I instantly bought the tickets and hopped on the cable car to the Jungfraujoch observation deck. Everything went smoothly and the views were absolutely stunning, which was fortunate because it rained the very next day. Otherwise, I knew I wouldn't have seen a thing!

MM334699****The room price I booked does not include breakfast, but it doesn't matter, there are restaurants and small supermarkets nearby. Fast food can be heated in the microwave in the hotel's separate kitchen, or you can buy raw food and cook it yourself!
A few hundred meters from the hotel, you can see the large lawn where skydiving enthusiasts land and the snow-capped mountains are within easy reach. It is very beautiful! ! ! On a main road, it is the first choice for watch lovers...

LLiliThe view from the window is very nice. The staff are very nice as well. But the room suffers from the noise from other rooms. If people come back late or wake up early you can hear their movements and talks. I was waked up in the early morning. But what more you can expect in this price.
GGuest UserThis hotel is on the edge of the mountain, flowing water flowing from the front of the hotel, the river on the back of the mountain is very comfortable. Just got off at the supermarket bus stop and walked about 300-400 meters. From Interlaken West Station, take 105 for about 10 minutes. It is very convenient. All hotels will give you a free bus that you can take advantage of. If you have a 3-day trip, you can take the bus one day and take the entire Interlaken. The price in Switzerland is really high. The disadvantage of this hotel is that it can't be cooked and was found to be fined 500 Swiss francs. Eating is the biggest problem. Almost a fast food in the town center is about 200 yuan. You can consider taking a bus to the second floor of the ost supermarket in Interlaken. It is cheap, and a person can eat enough 60-70.
GGuest UserThe location is pretty good, about ten minutes walk to Interlaken West Station and very close to the coop. There is a restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. My room has an independent bathroom and the hygiene is also good.
GGuest UserWhen we found this hostel through navigation, my friends didn't believe it. They said it looked more and more like a hotel. We spent a very pleasant day here.
