I came from Canada due to my business trip, this is absolutely A Hidden Gem That Outshines Even the Hilton Below!
I had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Wuhan Hanyang Beike Hotel—this place is a masterpiece of modern hospitality. If you’re looking for luxury without breaking the bank, look no further.
Let’s start with the view: from my room, I had a breathtaking panorama of the Yangtze River, with a front-row seat to Wuhan’s cyberpunk-style skyline. The glowing bridges—including the Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge, Yangsigang Bridge, and Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge—light up the night like something out of a sci-fi movie. To top it off, you can even spot the historic Yellow Crane Tower, blending the ancient with the ultramodern in a way that’s visually stunning and emotionally moving.
The interior design of the hotel is unbelievably sleek and luxurious—we’re talking five-star finishes, modern lighting, spotless wood flooring, elegant furniture, and a spa-like bathroom that feels straight out of a high-end design magazine. It’s the kind of place that makes you stop and say, “Wow,” the moment you walk in.
I’ve stayed at the Hilton, located just downstairs, and while it’s fine, Beike Hotel blows it out of the water in terms of value, design, and overall experience. You’re getting a top-tier, modern boutique stay at a fraction of the cost.
The staff, especially the warm and professional Ms. Liu, were incredibly helpful, attentive, and kind—service was impeccable.
If you’re a traveler who appreciates unique experiences, luxury on a budget, and a fusion of futuristic style with rich cultural heritage, this is THE hotel to book in Wuhan. I can’t recommend it enough.
I will definitely return, and when I do, I won’t even consider staying anywhere else.

Poor service attitude – booked for my boss and felt embarrassed
I booked two rooms through Trip.com for my boss during their long business trip across multiple cities in China – one single and one triple. Two days before check-in, the hotel contacted me via the app and asked to connect on WeChat. I agreed, thinking it was just for easier communication.
On WeChat, the hotel representative suddenly told me to cancel the booking because of an ”urgent maintenance issue.” However, I checked on Trip.com and saw that the hotel was still accepting new bookings for the same dates. Cancelling at the last minute (just before a weekend) would mean much higher prices for alternative hotels. After some back and forth, the representative said he would reply the next day, then later confirmed that check-in was fine after all.
When my boss arrived at the hotel, there was no maintenance work happening at all. This made the whole situation feel dishonest and confusing. Worse, the staff member at the front desk wasn't even ready when my boss arrived – a cleaner had to call him out. He came out looking very sluggish and yawned loudly, which my boss found extremely rude and unprofessional.
My boss arrived before the official check-in time and left luggage at the front desk. A few hours later, the same staff member kept calling and messaging nonstop, rushing my boss to come back and even asking if he could put the luggage inside the room without permission. My boss has stayed at many hotels but has never experienced such pushy and strange service.
As the person who made the booking for my boss, I felt quite embarrassed. The attitude and handling here are completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially business travelers.

Kuznetsova DariaThis apartment isn’t bad, but not very clean. Also there’s no normal towels, only disposable ones. In our room shower didn’t work normally and was too small. But I know, that there are also rooms with cool bathroom. So I can say, that in general it’s 3.5-4/5

I stayed at WINK Hotel in Wuhan (the Huafa Northwest Lake Center branch) and honestly, it was incredible. The moment I walked in, I knew I'd made the right choice. The place is spotless—like, genuinely spotless—and the design is gorgeous. Clean lines, soft lighting, that perfect minimalist aesthetic but still warm and inviting.
I booked the Curved King room and the photos online did not do it justice. Floor-to-ceiling corner windows with a 270-degree view of the city. I could see Northwest Lake, the Yangtze, all the lights at night—it was stunning. The room itself was huge (55 square meters) and everything felt brand new. The bed was so comfortable I slept better than I had in months, and the sheets were ridiculously soft.
The little details made it special. There's a massive projector instead of a TV, so I watched movies on the wall at night. The curved sofa area by the window was perfect for just sitting and taking in the view. The bathroom had a half-open bathtub that overlooked the city too—I soaked in there watching the lights and it was the most relaxing thing ever.
The staff were amazing. So friendly, remembered my name, gave me great recommendations for food nearby. Wansongyuan Food Street is just a short walk and I had some of the best noodles of my life there. Breakfast was delivered to my room hot and fresh.
The hotel only opened in 2025 so everything is still in perfect condition. The price was surprisingly reasonable too—I paid around $50 a night and it felt like a luxury stay. No negative reviews for the past four months and honestly, I get why. It's that good.
If you're going to Wuhan, stay here. Ask for a high floor. You won't regret it.

Katey88This hostel was si far the best one from China. Staff spoke a little english, they were very kind and let me check in early after a night train. Everything is spotless, the beds are comfy and mega clean, good size even for someone taller. The wifi was working well, the showers and toilets were separated, but super clean. Regular toilet/squat down, you choose.Location is good, easy to find and just a few min walking distance from everything. Hot water, micro i the lobby. There's a dumpling place on the corner towards the nearest metro station, my gosh, best dumplings ever for only 10¥! All in all, super positive experience, recomment it 100%!

This hotel is really amazing! The room hygiene is super meticulous, the bedding is fluffy and clean, there is no dust in the corner, the bathroom space is very comfortable to separate dry and wet, the hot water temperature is just right in seconds, and the living is particularly safe. The view of the floor is superb. You can see the street view and green plants in the distance by opening the window. The sun shines in warmly during the day, and the night view is also very pleasant at night.
The surrounding facilities are nothing to say. It takes five minutes to walk to the food street. There are many choices for snacks and milk tea. There are supermarkets and shopping malls next to it. It is super convenient to buy things or go shopping. It is also close to the subway station. You don't have to worry about traveling.
What impressed me most was the service. The younger brother and sister at the front desk had a very good attitude. The check-in speed was very fast. They also took the initiative to remind the nearby convenience facilities. They asked some questions in the middle and answered them in seconds. The whole process made people feel very intimate. Whether it is a couple outing or a small gathering of friends, this experience completely exceeded expectations, and I will stay here next time!

HelenLenThe room is very standard. Everything is very clean and nice. The toilet is very local tho. The owners are super nice! It’s an old couple with very good grisly attitude, who provide local simple breakfast and a ride to the airport.
