Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The place feels more like a student dorm. Teenagers are constantly hanging around the entrance, and there’s often a noticeable smell of ****, which makes the whole atmosphere quite uncomfortable.
The rooms match the overall vibe — basic and not cozy at all. There was visible mold in parts of the bathroom, which is a serious hygiene concern. The bedding was made of cheap material that felt unpleasant against the skin. The pillows were also uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep.
Breakfast looks decent in terms of variety, but once items run out, it takes a while for them to be replenished.
On the positive side, the location is convenient and the price is low. Two years before we stayed at this hotel and liked it much more.
Outstanding value and proper location for dayly visits into Venice (trust be, tram line is SO MUCH BETTER experience than suburban bus lines!).
However zero sound insulation. And heater in the bathroom was inactive.
If only sound insulation and quality of sleep would be better...

This is a really lovely little hotel. It's small but perfectly formed, and the reception is just down the road at another hotel. It's the perfect place for a short stay of one or two nights, especially since it's really close to the train station. We were very grateful that they let us in at 1am. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the staff were helpful. The breakfasts are really good too, especially when you consider the Italian norm of just espresso and croissants.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The cleanliness of the rooms was impressive, and the receptionist staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The highlight, without a doubt, was the exceptional location. It couldn't be more conveniently situated.

The room was big and spacious , and the view from our hotel was also good . We really liked and enjoyed . The only issue we had is the bathroom , it was on the second floor and we are on the first floor. When we asked about it on the reception , the staff on the time at 2 pm on 18-3 was quite rude. I dont know why she need to yell. Its better to say in a polite manner.

We stayed in room 211 SANDWIP from May 5 to 7.
From what was stated on the website:
1. There was no refrigerator in the room. The place for it in the photo on the website was empty. But there was a refrigerator in the shared kitchen.
2. Wi-Fi did not reach our room. It worked in the toilet, the Internet in the room periodically dropped out.
Pros: It is obvious that the room has been recently renovated. There are shutters to block out the light. The surface in the shower is very pleasant visually and tactilely. There is a window in the bathroom. They let us enter the room before check-in time to put our luggage.
Cons: A little mold above the window in the bathroom, sometimes a corresponding smell appeared in the bathroom. When checking in, they did not show the shared kitchen and what was there in principle, later we found it ourselves. The floor is a little dirty (fine dust). In fact, it is not a double bed, but two single beds close together, but you can't feel it. The soundproofing is poor, you can hear your neighbors in the common hallway and they don't try to be quieter (it's good that there aren't many neighbors). There was no duvet cover, they put a regular sheet instead. The temperature of the hot water varied greatly from time to time (during the day, sometimes you had to turn the hot water up to full to make it comfortable to wash), and the pressure is weak.

AAnonymous UserClean, great that hairdryer was provided. Location very convenient, just a 2 min walk from Mestre train station and flixbus stop. Note that you'll need to bring your own padlock for the lockers. Only downside was the bathroom floor tended to flood a little, but overall pleasant and comfortable stay
BBrazziSmall room and in a lofty undertouch for a night is well, a bad common point, cleaning ok but it could be a little more ordered.
Gentle and available management
AAnonymous UserThe location of the hotel is very close to Rinalto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. The breakfast is simple and fixed. The most unacceptable thing is that the shower conditions are extremely poor, there is almost no space, and the shared space with the toilet is extremely narrow, which is extremely inconvenient for travelers. I also encountered a neighbor who might be in a bad state of mind and hit the sunshade on the window of the hotel with a stone 5-6 times, complaining that the sound of the mobile phone in the room disturbed her, and it happened before ten o'clock in the evening.
AAlvinSoHotel Villa Rosa is located very close to the station, the room is clean, and the staff is friendly. Although the breakfast options are not many, they are delicious.
All in all, quite satisfied.
TTee LLWhen we reached, the reception told us that due to unforeseen circumstances, the room that we've booked ( with shared toilet)wasn't available and he offered us another room with private toilet with extra xx€ ( I forgot how much was it) but I refused to pay extra. In the end the reception gave us a free upgrade.
It was written that I should had paid 1.x euro at the hotel but the receiption asked to pay 2€ without giving me a receipt
The room was clean. The location was good. Close to eating places and supermarkets and train station. Travellers with luggages should choose this location. Facing the canal and station is at the back, turn left and after some minutes of walks the hotel is found.
RRaluca DascalitaI stayed at La Pergola for 3 nights and it felt very homey to me, like a student dorm room.
It was easy to reach from the Lido SME station, very quiet, my room had plenty of light, a desk to do some work, internet was working properly in the room though I was at the second floor.
The bed was comfy, bed linen was clean, the water was warm and shower had pressure, though the shower head had some holes clogged.
All the basics are there, coffee in the morning is included, and -despite the fact that the room could use a deep cleaning - I think it was great value for money, much better than expected given the previous reviews.
This place will be on my return list in my future travels to Venice.
