Great value for money, and the service was excellent. The self-service check-in and check-out were very convenient. The hotel provides amenities like a microwave, coffee machine, and ice maker, along with various free toiletries and bath salts. They offer complimentary drinks and snacks in the evenings, which I unfortunately missed because I always returned too late. If you opt out of room cleaning, they still provide fresh towels and complimentary bottled water, which is a nice touch. The hotel is only about a five-minute walk from Himeji Station, and there are many delicious restaurants along the way. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I'd definitely choose it again and recommend it to everyone.

Overall Rating: B
Pros:
* The room was clean and looked exactly like the photos.
* Wi-Fi was available.
* Check-in was smooth.
* Rental service for boots and umbrellas was provided.
* Came with tickets for touring Kinosaki Onsen, and the room had a convenient onsen set for taking out.
* There are private baths within the building.
Cons:
* The room felt a bit old.
* At night, hotel staff were loudly arguing outside the annex, which left a bad impression.
Location/Surroundings:
* About a 10-minute walk from the station. It felt a bit of a walk, but being in the center of the onsen town made access to all hot springs excellent.
Host's Service:
* Friendly and good service.
Summary:
Considering the price and location, it was good. However, it's not somewhere I'd definitely want to stay again, but rather I'd be interested in trying other ryokans next time.
Although it is a rural town, it is a facility similar to a hotel in the city.
The public bath is also clean and can be used at any time. Room service is available, and meals can be served inside the hotel even in bad weather.
The breakfast was inexpensive, but the variety of items was satisfying.
Free drink service ranges from coffee to flavored water, and vending machines at the kiosk booth on the first floor sell alcoholic beverages and various other beverages. It was nice that they also sell snacks and instant noodles.
We stayed in 8 tatami Japanese-style rooms 2 rooms with 4 family members. The shared kitchen was convenient and there were plenty of facilities where you could boil water to drink coffee and warm your lunch box in the microwave.
The room is small and stuffy, and there is an elevated bridge next to it, which is a bit noisy. The facilities in the store are relatively old. There are free bath salts, snacks, popcorn, and soju downstairs. The only bright spot is that the breakfast tastes good and is delivered directly to the door.
Only half hour to Kinosaki Onsen...we plan to go to Kinosaki Onsen but we can't afford the price of the hotel there......toyooka sky hotel is the best choice....the price is resonable, breakfast is delicious and it's only 700 JPY/person and there has free parking 😁😁😁

Very Good
AAnonymous UserThe hostel is very close to Oishi Station, only 200 meters away, just across an alley. It's a bit further from Rokko-dori Station, about a kilometer away. There are convenience stores and bakeries nearby. You can walk to Mount Rokko and Kobe University to watch the sunset and night view, a popular spot for taking photos. It's also convenient to take a bus to Kobe Sannomiya (around 200 yen). Compared to other hostels, the facilities are a bit older, and there's no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs yourself. However, it's clean and tidy. The lady who checked us in spoke English and was very friendly. There was also an elderly gentleman there at other times, who was also very nice. Initially, seeing a 4.3 rating, I was worried about a bad experience, but the actual stay was quite good.
AAjoureIt seems the river is good, everything you need to eat, but still feels old. Probably the expectations were just a little different. It was upset that gave one person only two passes in the onsen, although I heard that in other rivers give passes to visit all onsens.
We were in the crabs season, so the kayseki consisted of it completely(with little supplements). Expected that it would be a little bit more varied. But the crab itself is delicious, I can't say anything here
GGuest UserI made a reservation on the day, so I gave up the parking lot and stopped nearby. I should have gone to the partner, but I was relieved that the parking lot I used all the time, so
But the room was clean and I was able to stay on the day, so I think it was good.
I stayed in Osaka to go to see live performances, so I had a meal, but I didn't eat, so I don't know a little, but I wish I had a pot in my room that I could drink tea.
YYPLMaya GH was awesome. I booked a female bedbunk & individual bunk was spacious and even a side to lay out all my amenties. The room even has a wooden table for common usage. The staircase was a little steep and tiny hence luggage will be helped to carry up or down checking in/out. Destinated Female restroom and shower was awesome. Second though, it is just beside railway hence ear plug was provided. The staff was all so friendly and cheerful greeting you in/out of GH. Oh, i save a small amount of the cablecar+ropeway trip as the GH has alias with Mt Maya. Had my NY celebration with them knocking the bell at shrine & early sunrise watching with the NY food prepared by them. Awesome stay with lovely neighbourhood.

SSun PierreA very good youth hostel. The front desk is very friendly and the explanations are very clear. It is located in Zuo Shopping Street, very close to Himeji Castle. It is only a five-minute walk away. There are many restaurants nearby. I will definitely stay here again!!!
OOnlykianthe food is most generous and sumptous, and very high standard. We stayed in couple room with a private onsen tub. This make our stay most memorable as my wife was recovering from a major surgery. When we request the staff to add another layer to the futon mattress, he told us to do it on our own since the futon are in the room. When we told him that my wife is unable to do so due to the surgey, he oblidge to our request but unhappily. Apart from this unpleasant encounter, we decided to return again to this place.
GGuest UserNice hotel nice location spoiled by **** lady staff. Maybe she really hate Asian. Everything is No! I asked how much the buffet as I was hungry upon checked in and saw they have food behind the counter. When I was going to find a seat outdoor with sea view, I was chased away by her without even given a menu or a chance to sit down. So rude!! I’m not there for free food or free seat!! I’m paying ok. The room at 2nd floor is blocked by the roof of the restaurant, waste my money for this stay.
AAnonymous UserI stayed here the day before climbing Mt. Hyonosen.
The staff were very polite, the rooms and hallways were well-cleaned, and it was very comfortable.
There are no convenience stores nearby, but there is a supermarket.
