It was funny to see a bunk bed hostel in such an expensive area like Myeongdong or Garosu-gil, but the facilities were clean and nice. There were some issues, like narrow passageways and steep stairs, but there's no place in this expensive neighborhood or strategically located in Yokohama that offers that kind of price.

15 min drive from Haneda airport, spending 2730 yen for Uber at midnight 2am. The hotel provided self checking for late night arrival. Got microwave and vending machine at ground floor. No lift so we have to carry luggage by stair.Room space is small and not allow full open of 50:50 28 inch luggage. Bed is comfortable.

This guesthouse was incredibly cozy and felt just like home. At check-in, they carefully explained everything I needed to know. I stayed in the women's-only dormitory room, which I believe was a 6-person room with three bunk beds. I had the bottom bunk. There were no locks, but there were sturdy curtains for privacy. Even though it was a cold day, the room was warm, and having a light above the bed made for a comfortable stay. Everyone seemed to be considerate and kept quiet. Eating and drinking weren't allowed on the bed, but it wasn't an issue as the ground floor had a cozy cafe (pictured) where you could relax freely. I read a bit in bed and then slept soundly. When I mentioned at check-out that I was visiting Enoshima, they told me about taking a boat, which made my trip much more enjoyable than planned. Luggage storage after check-out was also cheaper than using a locker, and I enjoyed the interaction. I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance. Shared rooms are very affordable and highly recommended for solo travelers.

I'm glad I was tired because I was able to stay cheaply and was taken to the bathtub. I was grateful for the curry and a drink service. I want to use it again when I go to Yokohama.

This is not a true capsule hotel: the beds are only separated with curtains, not doors. This means that you can hear everyone else in the room, and that there is no secure place to leave your things when you go the shower or leave your space for a bit. (The only lockers are all the way on the ground floor, in the lobby, and they are tiny--much too small for a suitcase or even a large backpack.) So this feels much more like a youth hostel than an actual capsule hotel. If the beds had doors that could be locked, I would give this place an excellent review. On the positive side, it was kept very clean (given the number of people staying there), and it's very close to the train station and to Chinatown.

Great budget stay for the solo traveler! The place was always thoroughly clean and staff were friendly and helpful. It took some getting used to since it was my first time staying at a capsule hotel. For instance, no outside shoes in the capsule area: disposable slippers are provided once you arrive, so switch to those affter putting down your luggage. If you need an extra pair, you can grab one at the front desk. Also, your locker key has a QR code attached, so that you can scan to enter the capsule, locker, and shower areas. I kept forgetting to walk with it just going to the locker room, which you need the QR code to access! Thankfully, other guests would open the door for me since we shared the same space. One thing to note is the cleaning time between 11 AM and 3 PM: the capsules are unusable since they change the sheets, make the beds, etc., so it's best to be out in the city exploring or down in the lobby. Any bottles you leave in front of your capsule might be considered trash when they clean, so if you want to keep your drinks, keep them in the locker. If you have several personal items on your bed inside the capsule, depending on what it is, they may not enter to change the bedding, etc. so keep that in mind. They also provide sleepwear, disposable toothbrush and mini toothpaste, bath and hand/face towels in a small bag that they replace each day! There are proper places to return used sleepwear and towels (large laundry bags are clearly marked), same with trash disposal. There is a shower area with separate stalls. Many people tend to shower at night, so if you don't want to wait, it's best to shower before the cleaning time in the morning, or before 10 PM. Some girls would shower (and sometimes wash their hair), so it's common for many people to be in the showers late at night, even after midnight! Thankfully, there are small couches in this area, so no need to stand and wait. Also, the lockers are a bit tiny and narrow (see pic with disposable slippers), but I assume they are the standard for capsule hotels. They are the main storage for small items; luggage (like suitcases) is stored in an adjacent room. All in all, I would stay there again! Very close to Yokohama station, there are several restaurants, a few Family Marts and a Lawson's are within walking distance, as well as a mall called VIVRE with about 8 floors to browse.

It is on 4th & 5th floor . No elevator. Dorm style with private tatami bedrooms with windows and ac. Each floor has 34 units, 3-5 toilets, one shower, one simple kitchen. Male bathroom has bad smell because no automatic flush system was installed for urinals. I recommend it for tourists from less developed countries. In western style, it is of sevic level of motel 6 Reception room is across the street. They provide luggage storage for free.

Because our itinerary for the second day was quite impromptu, we decided to stay in a city in between. As expected, the business hotel was clean, tidy, and convenient. The shower facilities were also good, and it was very close to the station. Breakfast was provided in the morning. The hotel staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and communication was pleasant. It was a very good choice for an overnight stay.

There was no counter service when I checked in, only instructions in the envelope. I only received an email after I checked out asking me to fill in basic check-in information. What I am dissatisfied with is that the instructions in the envelope can use a highlighter or blue pen to clearly mark the parts that need to be filled in, and include a pen for filling in the information, so that people who are not familiar with the process and foreign languages can immediately understand that this document must be filled out. The email that contacted me to fill in the information afterwards did not tell me which platform to use to reply correctly. This forced me to sacrifice a lot of extra time to study on top of my busy schedule, and I didn't even know if my information had been submitted correctly. All these inconsiderate and rude services made me waste a lot of time after checking out, and I felt very unhappy about it.

DDannNestled along the serene shores of Manazuru Port, this quaint Japanese-style inn exudes warmth and tradition at every turn. Run by a charming old lady whose hospitality transcends generations, the inn offers a glimpse into Japan's rich cultural tapestry. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a sense of tranquility. The tatami-matted rooms, though old, are meticulously clean, each carrying a tale of bygone eras. Whether you're enjoying a traditional Japanese breakfast or simply basking in the afternoon sun on the veranda, the vista never fails to mesmerize. AAnonymous UserThe room is very standard and the bed is clean. The room is old but well-equipped. The bed in my room is facing two wire doors, which is a bit scary but acceptable. There was no hair dryer in my room during the stay. After I told the front desk staff, they found it for me in time. The decoration at the entrance of the store is very stylish

GGuest UserWe loved this experience! After travelling from Tokyo that morning and all around Hakone, we were wrecked by the time we got to the accommodation. The hosts offer free collection from the bottom of the cable car. We text them saying we would be arriving in 10 minutes and they had someone waiting for us. The check in was smooth and the hosts are very accommodating, have good English and will do anything they can to help you. We had a room with a Mt. Fuji view who was on show for a few hours. They then brought us in a shuttle to a nearby restaurant and the restaurant brought us back to the accommodation. The accom was very big for the two of us and we found the beds really comfy. We also got private onsen for 30 mins (available between 10-11pm) for only 2,000 yen. In the morning, they dropped us back (again free) to our bus stop. We loved this whole experience and calm back feeling relaxed and revived. Couldn’t recommend more!

LLidaren727The atmosphere was fantastic, and they even had a campfire BBQ at night. The hotel has a kitchen, so you can buy ingredients and cook for yourself, and there's a 7-Eleven and Lawson nearby, which is really convenient for grabbing things. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and I plan to recommend it to my friends.

JJette Marie☀️ When i first arrived, i thought i was at the wrong place - i‘ve never booked something so nice for myself before! 🪲PROS - chill 4 people bedrooms, with a comfy bed and a big personal shelf + locker and a fridge for the room - clean facilities and rooms - towel, toothpaste/toothpaste and yukata were provided as well as shampoo and showergel - the common room was so cozy and nice, with tea and water always at the ready and a great view of the garden - i was satisfied with both the dinner and breakfast and the price was fairly cheap (~1200¥ or a bit more, depending on your choices) - PRIVATE ONSEN that you can book for around 50minutes at night and can use in the morning if nobody else is already using it (costs around 150¥ per use) - there is a shuttle bus going at pretty regular times in the morning. They offer a ride to both Gora-Station or Hakone-Open-Air-Museum! 🩸CONS - far from the city-centre/train station 🌱 i really enjoyed my stay. I had cool roomies that became travel companions and absolutely loved the inn, the onsen, the food and the kind staff! Definitely a recommendation if you ever decide to stay in Hakone - i would book again!
