2-Star Hotels in Tottori Prefecture, Japan

The private bath room was booked, and the room and the pool were very clean. I made an appointment for the pick-up one day in advance, and I saw the driver when I got out of the station. It took 15 minutes from Kurayoshi Station to the hotel. The service attitude was very good, and they would lead and introduce the hotel facilities and various locations. There is a supermarket directly opposite the hotel.

A lovely little stay in Hawai Onsen! The local area was so quiet and peaceful, with a couple of good restaurants and a convenience store within a short walk (we were also offered assistance with an izakaya reservation, if we wanted it). The room was big and clean, with comfortable beds and a good selection of provided ameneties. Owner was also very attentive to our needs, and offered additional towels and cleaning if/when we wanted it. Bath was always warm and very relaxing, including an outdoor one. Although the rooms were clean, the shared areas could have done with some additional cleaning - the sinks were not always clean (some hair/dirt), and there were sometimes holes in the bug netting. The trip listing is a little incorrect, as the ”run of house” listing is still only a room with a shared bathroom. The ”shared bathroom” also refers to a full shared onsen experience, with no private shower cubicles etc available. There was a kettle/fridge available, but it would've been nice to have some more kitchen items (plates, chopsticks) as well as a microwave available.

Kindest staff!! Very welcoming, helpful, warm and kind^^ After climbing Mt Daisen, my legs were sore and the wonderful hot Onsen really soothed and healed my whole body. It really refreshed me:) Room was very clean, flawless, perfect air-conditioner. They have me a ride to the bus stop after check out. Overall, very satisfied. I wish I could have stayed here longer. The air was so fresh in Daisen, I already miss the air! I will definitely come back! Thank you very much for your warm hospitality ^_^

The environment is first-class, right on the beach. You can see the sea from the window and you can see the sea from the bed. When you leave the store, you can see the sea. It's a very good beach. The owner is a very soft-spoken grandmother who speaks very softly (you have to pay close attention to hear it clearly) and is very kind. There is no toilet or bathroom in the room, which is very inconvenient. I brought my mother who is over 70 years old. The elderly have to leave the room to use the toilet at night, which is very inconvenient. However, although it is a public toilet, it is very clean. There is a washbasin in the room, but there is no hot water, which is also very inconvenient. From the perspective of looking at the sea, the location of the hotel is really the best, but in actual experience, it is really inconvenient that the room does not have a toilet and bathroom. In the future, when I book a hotel, I will confirm three things in advance: whether the room is equipped with a toilet and bathroom (it is best to have separate bathroom and toilet), whether the basin has hot water, and whether the WIFI is good. Because I stayed in several hotels during this trip, I felt it was very important to confirm these three items.

The front desk staff were very helpful and I would definitely use this hotel again. The TV was huge and I was very satisfied with the impressive view. It was in a great location right next to the station. There are lots of izakayas nearby so you won't have any trouble finding a place to eat.

The hotel is just within walking distance from Tottori station and the room is spacious. Besides, they provide a wide variety of choices for breakfast. You can also read mangas provided by the hotek on second floor. Trust me, the mangas are just too many for you to read and there is free flow of coffee too.I sincerely recommend this hotel to whoever coming to Tottori.

This time, I stayed at Area One Sakaiminato Marina, on the third night of a four-day, three-night stay during Golden Week last year. When I explained the experience to my wife, she was very happy, so I arranged for us to stay at this hotel again this Golden Week, and she was very happy too. Not only was the view from the window of our room amazing, but the breakfast was delicious, served as a buffet. There was an incredible amount of side dishes to choose from, so we could eat sashimi from the morning. You could also have a seafood bowl. Both my wife and I had seconds twice. My wife was happy and said she'd like to stay again if the timing was right, so we'll consider it next year. 🙇

I chose this hostel because it's cheap, located next to the Karo Seafood Market. However, transportation is a bit inconvenient; if you don't drive, you'll have to walk from Tottori University Station if you miss the last bus around 7 PM. The rooms are small and crowded. The facilities are complete, but it's not particularly cozy. If you're looking for a budget option, this is definitely a good choice.

the room is not 9m2 as per advised. Initially Im shock when i book but have no choice as no more hotel room during my stay at yonago. Room. Very spacious and well. Just beside station. Very comfortable. Receiptionist at level 1. Hence you need to bring luggage up.

Modernized ryokan with its own onsen. 5 minute walk to the train station, not too many restaurants / bars around the hotel. Lovely garden and nice rooms. The main onsen shouldn‘t be used if you have tattoos but there is a private family bath that can be used with tattoos. The family bath is first come first served, so you might need to wait a while… Breakfast was delicious and plenty!
