2-Star Hotels in Melaka State, Malaysia

The hotel has provided the facilities as committed in their booking-page in the acceptable condition to their customer, i.e. me. Despite it is a budget hotel only and the overall appearance is slightly vintage :D, the room, the bed/mattress/blanket, bathroom, showering water heater, etc. are still clean and in acceptable condition. Besides, if communicated/spoken to the hotel, it has self check-in option for the check-in after business operation hour, i.e. mid night. Travelers can acquire the room key/card by themselves from a locker with a provided pin code. These enable me to have a good rest after making an urgent booking in night time, travel over 100km then reach the hotel at 1.30 a.m. mid night. The attached photos show the self check-in/out facility, public drinking-water-dispenser and fire extinguisher. Although I can't expect much from a budget, I would like to suggest that the air-con in the room to have service/maintenance so that it won't produce much noise. By the way, the noise only distract us slightly from having rest. After all, based on the offered/discounted price, the room is satisfactory and recommended.

This is my second stay here, I like that the room was clean, bed comfortable and most importantly the power point is next to the bed. The location is good, there are two coffee shops with Chinese food stalls that open from early morning to 2pm. In the evening there is a Muslim coffee shop just 3 doors away. There are also two convenience outlets. The convenience is a plus point, to Jonker Street is 10 minutes walk. The hotel also provides breakfast. I will definitely stay here again for my next trip and again and again.

This budget hotel sometimes offers great last-minute deals. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with a cozy atmosphere. There are two fast-food restaurants, a 99 Speedmart, and a self-service laundry just around the corner, making it very convenient. Highly recommended for budget travelers!

This hotel is located on the outskirts of Malacca, with plenty of empty space nearby and easy parking right at the entrance. I really liked the hotel's decor, and the staff were quite welcoming. I arrived at 9 PM and didn't have any cash, but the front desk told me I could settle up the next day and go rest in my room first! Every floor at Hotel Code 6 has a water dispenser, offering both cold and hot water freely. My room also had a coffee and tea set, and since I love coffee, a hot cup every morning was really invigorating. 😁 The air conditioning was on all day, keeping the room nice and cool! If you turn right when you leave the hotel, there's an incredibly delicious Indian restaurant with excellent service too! Overall, I had a very comfortable stay here. I'd recommend booking a room with a window.

Best location possible just nearby the main attractions, but very thin walls so you can hear everything and anything, and only a fan (there is AC but you have no remote control which I believe you need to pay to get). I wanted to work in the common area but their common area WiFi wasn't working any of the days I was there so I had to go to a coffee shop instead as inside the room there isn't a table where I could sit and work.

A nice budget hotel with a quiet and peaceful environment. The room was basic but comfortable. However, cleanliness could be improved, and the bedsheets and towels looked a bit worn. Overall, it is still recommended for budget travelers seeking an affordable stay.

Stayed two nights at this Guan Gong-themed hotel on Jonker Street in Melaka, and it was surprisingly super comfortable! The environment was clean, the atmosphere was nice, and it was within walking distance to Jonker Street, making food and drinks really convenient. If anyone asks me for a hotel recommendation in Melaka, I'd definitely suggest this one! 👍

Good value for the price. Excellent location in jonker street with smooth check-in checkout process. staff were friendly and polite. Only drawback is air conditioning dripping inside the room. would have been higher score if this can be fixed.

For such funny money, the location in the very center of the old city, near all the main sights. I can fight, except for the absence of a chair and a sub-foot under the plate

I ate at the local market , the reception were laid back if not attentive , o more than one expects from a budget hotel , fairly quiet , good air con and serviceable toilet and shower . Good value.
