The hotel has provided the facilities as committed in their booking-page in the acceptable condition to their customer, i.e. me. Despite it is a budget hotel only and the overall appearance is slightly vintage :D, the room, the bed/mattress/blanket, bathroom, showering water heater, etc. are still clean and in acceptable condition. Besides, if communicated/spoken to the hotel, it has self check-in option for the check-in after business operation hour, i.e. mid night. Travelers can acquire the room key/card by themselves from a locker with a provided pin code. These enable me to have a good rest after making an urgent booking in night time, travel over 100km then reach the hotel at 1.30 a.m. mid night. The attached photos show the self check-in/out facility, public drinking-water-dispenser and fire extinguisher.
Although I can't expect much from a budget, I would like to suggest that the air-con in the room to have service/maintenance so that it won't produce much noise. By the way, the noise only distract us slightly from having rest.
After all, based on the offered/discounted price, the room is satisfactory and recommended.

This budget hostel is good for those solo travellers. The place is clean and vintage. Not as fancy as others but good enough for what I paid for. The AC is cold and there is a hot and cold shower too. Close to shops to eat and go around the River of Lights. A quiet place to relax and sleep after a long walk. The wifi is reliable too. Not for the fussy travellers.

The location is great, just about a 10-minute walk to Jonker Street if you turn left outside the guesthouse. There's a newly opened market (pasar) in front of the guesthouse, operating from 6 AM to 11 AM, where you can buy inexpensive fruits. I bought fresh passion fruit for 12 RM per kilo; the owner told me he only gets 10 kilos daily from a local supplier. If you walk right for about 5 minutes, you'll find the Jonker Street Tea Restaurant, a 99 mini-market, and a KK Mart, which is very convenient. Upon checking in, I did find a small cockroach on the floor in my room, but thankfully, the rest of the place seemed clean. There was only one large bottle of shower gel, no shampoo, toothbrushes, or cups provided. There's a water dispenser next to the front desk, so remember to bring your own water bottle to fill up.
The best part was getting a tidy room close to both the elevator and stairs. More importantly, it's right in the city center, making it easy to walk everywhere. There's also parking available for cars.

Our check-in experience was a bit stressful. We arrived at 17:00 and the door was locked. When a staff member arrived later, they weren’t able to check us in immediately and kept calling someone without explaining what was happening. It would be helpful if someone were always available during check-in times to welcome guests.
The first room we were given had a lot of mold on the walls, and the shared bathrooms and showers were very dirty. They were not cleaned during our three-day stay.
However, we want to highlight the professionalism of Navira, who quickly came to assist us. She was polite, kind and genuinely willing to provide excellent service. When we requested a room change due to the mold, she immediately arranged a better room for us. This completely turned our first impression of the hostel around. The new room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with both a fan and air conditioner.
We truly appreciate Navira’s help and friendliness, which made our stay much more enjoyable.

The hotel's location is excellent, right at the end of Jonker Street. It's incredibly clean, exceeding my expectations. The owner is very friendly and speaks excellent Chinese. There's even a self-service hot water dispenser in the hallway, which is super convenient. It's easy to get to all the attractions in Malacca; you can just step out and explore Jonker Street, try various foods, or stroll along the river by the Dutch Red Square. Although it's lively outside, the hotel rooms are surprisingly quiet.
It's worth more than the price, the location, the facilities.
I paid less than RM50 per night (not including the RM50 deposit). The bathroom and showers are amazing. The heaters is 5/5 stars, complete with shampoo, soap, towels. We got a window with the city view. The room is big and very comfortable, the air-conditioning is fully functioning. A lot of space for prayers.
I'd definitely book this hotel again, next time.

Overall, this hotel is clean and comfortable. Here's what I liked:
- The room had carpet, but it was clean and odor-free.
- I really liked that the room had plenty of lighting! Usually, most hotels have very dim lighting in the rooms.
- Regarding soundproofing, even though it's by the roadside, I couldn't hear any car or motorcycle noise at all! However, you can hear the vacuum cleaner when housekeeping is cleaning.
- Parking was easy to find.
- The shower pressure was great.
- The air conditioning was cold enough.
I'll definitely be staying here again next time! ✌

GGuest UserVery good hotel, very cost-effective, the front desk guy is very enthusiastic, but his English is a bit poor. Each person in the triple room has a separate bed, which is very suitable for friends to travel together.

PPhua Kia WOEIThe room was spacious, big, and comfortable. The only issue was at night, especially when it rained—the wind was so strong that it made the toilet door and window rattle loudly, which made it hard to sleep deeply. Other than that, everything was great.
GGuest UserRoom have strong Indian smell. Room was ready a bit late… overall rating I will give 5/10. Short of hanger. Location is good. Shopping centre just beside. But not much retails available.
XXiaocaosxFacilities: All essential amenities are available. Hairdryers can be borrowed from the front desk upon check-in or whenever you need one. There's a water dispenser in the common area, and luggage storage is offered.
Cleanliness: The bed linen had some stains, but these appeared to be old, permanent marks that wouldn't wash out, rather than fresh dirt. My skin felt fine after sleeping on them for a night, so I'd say it was still relatively clean and tidy overall.
Environment: The room was quite small, but its location is excellent, with all major attractions within walking distance. It's perfectly fine for a one-night stay.
Service: The front desk staff speaks Chinese, making communication effortless. No deposit was required, and they were very helpful and friendly when answering my questions.
AAnonymous Userhotel lobby has a nice Christmas touch.
it provides coway water dispenser. room is a little small but clean, except for the cups and teaspoons which were quite dusty. aircon also strong. the only part that I wasn't quite happy with is the design of the toilet. the room we got had an awkward position for the sink and bathing area not much space to put toiletries. water also flowed out from the bathing area despite the shower screens were closed. this made the area quite wet and floor towel mat was also wet. we requested for a new one the next day. the shower head is fixed.
hotel provides free parking albeit very limited. if full, security guard will direct you to park at the road side.
all in all, good price for the short 3d2n stay.
