Room size is decent, and the facilities are generally fine. No toothbrush or hairdryer in the room, but the front desk brought one up when I called. Housekeeping: On the 27th, they said it was a holiday and wouldn't be cleaning, so I just asked for a fresh towel. They didn't clean for the next few days either; I had to specifically ask them to clean the room. Environment: It's not soundproofed at all. The road outside is very noisy, and there were motorcycles revving loudly late at night. Couldn't sleep without earplugs. Service: Overall, the service was quite good. They were very responsive to requests.

Overall, my experience here was good. The stay was comfortable, the service was reliable, and everything met my expectations for the price. No major complaints—I’d definitely consider staying here again.

This is my second visit to Semporna, so I'm quite familiar with the hotels and their surroundings. While this hostel's private rooms might not offer the absolute best value for money, they are still quite good.

I arrived at 9 AM and was immediately checked in. After a good sleep, I headed out to explore. No deposit was required, which was a nice touch. The staff were all smiles and made me feel right at home. Next time I'm in Kota Kinabalu, I'll definitely choose this place again. The privacy is excellent, and the capsule rooms are great. It's also conveniently located near the Central Market and Gaya Street, making it easy to get around.

room is great and everything. but we had a leaking fridge and it kept making noise the whole time we were there. we couldnt sleep well bcs of the annoying water dripping noise. room was 209. i hope the hotel can fix it for future travellers. downside would also be parking since its a public parking. anyways u get what u paid..

The room was spacious enough for my 8 year old and me, love the minimalist design and layout. Iron, hairdryer, heater, water bottles, WIFI, mini smart TV (though YouTube was sometimes disconnected) and basic toiletries were provided. Bedding was quite comfy. However, I noticed that the inside of the air conditioner was a bit moldy and the bathroom wall also. I think the hotel should do some maintenance/inspection on the smudgy iron board cloth and rusty bathroom door. It was just a small matter, we still enjoyed our stay (the price justified our experience). Plus the reception was fast and friendly too. ❤️ Overall personal rating is 8.5/10. Recommended, we'll stay again here if we wanted to do an all out Imago-shopping. 😚😂

Had a very satisfied stay at Pantai Inn Hotel. The location is very strategic with easy access to many facilities, eateries, night market, and the famous Gaya Street Sunday Market. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was very comfy which made us sleep well after a long day. Staff were friendly and helpful too. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

This hostel is centrally located in Semporna town, surrounded by several large supermarkets and restaurants. It's a 5-minute walk to the mosque, an 8-minute walk to the Marine Visitor Centre, and a 7-minute walk to Watsons. The hostel reception offers island hopping day trips and carpooling services to Tawau Airport. The owner and staff are patient and helpful in answering travel inquiries. The owner speaks Chinese, so communication was easy, and they helped resolve many travel-related issues. A simple breakfast is provided; although it only includes fried noodles, bread, and coffee, it's enough to fill you up. You can't expect too much, considering it's a budget hostel. Cleanliness is a plus. Overall, the accommodation was quite good and worth recommending. 😊👍

The hotel itself isn't bad, but it was incredibly noisy at night. There were people singing karaoke downstairs until the early hours, making it really hard to sleep. Also, the room only had four lights, and to be honest, it was quite dim at night without natural sunlight. On the plus side, there was a large floor-to-ceiling window in the morning, letting in plenty of light. I'm not sure if it's just my allergies, but I felt there was a lot of dust in the room and kept sneezing. Overall, it's suitable for a one-night, short stay. For a longer trip, you might want to consider other hotels closer to the city center.

One of the best things about this hotel is its excellent location. It is conveniently located close to a shopping mall, which made it easy to shop and find anything I needed. There were also many restaurants and food options nearby, so it was very convenient to grab meals without having to travel far. The hotel environment was comfortable and suitable for both short and long stays. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and would definitely consider staying at this hotel again in the future.
