2-Star Hotels in West Coast, New Zealand

Short drive to Lake Matheson and Fox Glacier view. Big and nice with shelter for car park right in front of the motel. Salt/pepper/rice cooker/bread toaster/milk/ basic utensils for cooking are provided. All is good except that towels aren’t changed daily.

The boss is good, but there are many stars in the place, The fly in the ointment is that the equipment is old. The small heating in my room is not only old but also makes a very noisy sound. It is not used at all. The equipment provided in the kitchen is like a hot water bottle. It also feels like n years of useless....

It's pretty good. The cabin has a separate bathroom. There should be four rooms, sharing a living room with a kitchen. The hostel is in another room. The bed room also has a large kitchen. This small room is very cost-effective. The town of Fox is not big. There are only two or three restaurants for dinner. So, it only takes five or six minutes to walk to the fireflies. You can go and see them at night. You can see them in a few minutes.

It's just a normal motel with a public kitchen and good hygiene. It's a place where I'm passing through. The front desk is very welcoming. There's a parking lot. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, but they all close early.

The color scheme is very warm and inviting, and the facilities are comprehensive. Spa, kayaks, and mountain bikes are available. Check-in is convenient, and the rooms have heating. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Although the toilet and bathroom are shared, they are very clean! There are cats and dogs; we even met a cute little cow-shaped cat in the evening and had a great time playing with it! It's very close to a large supermarket and the town center. Highly recommended! Check-out time is generally before 10 PM.
