2-Star Hotels in Western Cape, South Africa

Free drinks are available until 10am. Coffee, tea, and rooibos tea are available. There is a kitchen and a refrigerator. The dormitory beds do not have lights or charging sockets. The room was clean and comfortable.  Front desk was helpful and kind.  However we had a meal there last night which made my husband terribly sick. He ordered a Prego Roll. We had to be at the airport early this morning, sadly the meal my husband had gave him food poisoning. He was terribly sick from midnight. Fortunately at the airport he lwheelchair assistance. When we landed at 8:15 am this morning I had to take him straight to Medicross for treatment. treatment.  He’s still not well at all.

The hostel was adequate but our room had many problems with the running water. When taking a shower the water was weak or shut off entirely and this happened often for multiple days.

In the Cape geographical advantage, the large supermarket is very close to the long street, you can not walk, the bar downstairs, although it is very noisy, but very safe, the service is very warm, everyone is very warm, for me a person who is not very good at English is a good choice, and very clean, The little girl at the front desk enthusiastically guided me how to play Zhoushan and Mong Kok. I took the trouble. I stayed at this hotel for six nights. I felt very happy and made a lot of friends. 🥳

I didn't like that the room didn't have a bathroom. The bathroom is to be shared. For a little extra, you can have a bathroom and better location at 82 on Regent. Motown is okay if you enjoy sharing bathrooms with strangers. Due to the concerts at the time in Cape Town, most places were sold out which is how we landed up at Motown.

The backpack area was spacious and kitchen is clean constantly and good. But our room is little run down, with an old drawer and lots red ants around. No washing machine.

Trip.com It is a standard single room. This standard room is not to mention a bath. There is no bathroom. Except for a bed, a chair, and a small bedside table, there are no other facilities.
