I have to say, a five-star is still a five-star. We originally booked two nights at another hotel, but after one night, we just couldn't stand it. We checked out the next day and went straight to Hilton. From the moment we entered the lobby, I knew we made the right decision. The room was clean and tidy, the service was warm, and our child didn't even want to leave the hotel, just wanted to stay there. Breakfast was also quite rich. All in all, everything was pretty good.

This was a really great experience! Initially, I was a bit apprehensive because I saw some online reviews mentioning the hotel facilities were old. But once I arrived, I didn't find anything old at all. Perhaps it's not super modern, but overall, it's quite grand. The staff and employees were extremely professional; they were always happy to provide excellent service whenever we asked.
Of course, I can't say the hotel is absolutely perfect, which is why I gave the facilities 4.5 stars – to leave some room for improvement.
The only minor suggestion I have is for the hotel to consider the needs of female guests regarding toiletries. For example, a softer toothbrush head and adding a comb for styling hair would be great additions.
Overall impression: Super satisfied, I'd be very happy to be a repeat customer!
Attached are some photos of the beautiful Shangri-La Hotel, Wenzhou, as seen through my lens.

Traveling during off-peak season, and staying for two nights, plus it was my birthday, so a big thank you to the front desk for upgrading my room! My room had a view of the iconic HaoGu Pagoda. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of the lake area, making it convenient to visit Nanhu World, Zicheng Ruins Park, and the Catholic Church. The hotel's garden design is so lovely, it could be a tourist attraction itself. From the front desk to the guest rooms, and the staff at the breakfast, Chinese, and Japanese restaurants, everyone was very welcoming and provided excellent service. The room cleaning on the second day was thorough and not sloppy at all. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and even after two days, there was barely any repetition. Overall, it was a very good stay.

I booked a 3-day, 2-night stay at Shaoxing Hotel through Trip.com. Taking advantage of the good weather, I brought my elderly parents out for a change of scenery. My mother, due to a long-term illness, is wheelchair-bound. The moment we arrived at the entrance of Shaoxing Hotel, we were met with the meticulous care and attention of Mr. Lu Xinsong from the hotel. He first pushed my mother to the front desk, helped us arrange two adjacent rooms so I could look after my parents, and then suggested we stay in Building 6, which is close to the breakfast restaurant, so we wouldn't have to walk too far for meals each morning. While I was checking in, he also pushed my mother and father to the lounge area in the lobby to rest and wait. What touched me even more was that after I finished checking in, he helped us push my mother and simultaneously introduced us to the beautiful hotel grounds, staying with us until we were settled in our room with our luggage. Thank you so much, Mr. Lu. You are the face of Shaoxing Hotel and, to us guests, a relative we felt an instant connection with!
Shaoxing Hotel is a five-star scenic hotel designed with traditional Jiangnan garden architecture. It truly lives up to the saying 'every step reveals a new view,' making you feel like you're strolling through a painting. During our two-day stay, my family not only enjoyed the beautiful scenery and delicious food but also received a warm welcome from the hotel staff. I'd especially like to mention Ms. Feng from housekeeping; she was always responsive and provided excellent service. Thank you too!
Life is a journey, and I'm incredibly grateful to have met such wonderful people. This was our first time in Shaoxing, but because of good people like Mr. Lu and Ms. Feng, who felt more like family than strangers, I believe I will definitely return to Shaoxing! And many times! Because there is love and warmth here! Thank you all again! 🙏🙏🙏

The hotel's location is excellent, just a seven or eight-minute walk from Hubin Yintai. Since I arrived quite late, the front desk staff was very kind and upgraded my room. It originally didn't have a window, but now it does! That was really great, the view is nice, and the room is very clean with complete facilities. The lighting controls are well-designed and user-friendly. I slept very soundly, and the toiletries were also good. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town.

Came with my kids, and it's great for ordering takeout; the robot delivery is super convenient, and sometimes a staff member brings it, and their attitude is good. The environment is also pretty nice. The only downside is the breakfast buffet, which is really bad and has very few options. Luckily, it wasn't crowded, even on a Sunday, with plenty of empty seats when I went at 9 AM. I suggest adding some chicken nuggets, which kids love, or prawn crackers. Everything else was fine, but the floor is really slippery, so be careful. Shery provided excellent service, and I'd come back again. Yesterday, I saw penguins at Nanhu Tiandi and absolutely loved the 'Sui Yin Ji Liang' there. Anyway, it's better than the Four Points by Sheraton, where you have to go downstairs yourself to pick up takeout, and the air isn't as good, though it is a bit more value for money.

Among several riverside hotels, we ultimately chose the brand new Junlan Tonglu Hotel. We booked two deluxe king rooms and, after an early request, were kindly upgraded to the Xiaowu River View rooms. The night view was lovely, and the small park downstairs was perfect for a stroll. Fresh fruit and snacks were provided daily. The smart home system was simple yet sophisticated, making the room tidy, quiet, and incredibly comfortable.
The service quality was particularly outstanding. From the moment we checked in, we felt a perfectly balanced level of hospitality. Cici, a staff member, was attentive without being intrusive, showing great care for both the elderly and children. Learning that we were there for fishing, she enthusiastically recommended local fishing spots, demonstrating a deep knowledge of the area.
The dining experience was equally impressive: the buffet breakfast offered a rich variety of well-prepared dishes. Since our child didn't come down for breakfast, they thoughtfully packed fresh shrimp porridge and pancakes for us. The Chinese restaurant, though only opened during the May Day holiday, already boasted both stylish service and high-quality cuisine. Dishes like the river white fish, red soup noodles, Malantou with dried tofu, drunken shrimp, and steak were all cooked to perfection with rich, refined flavors, showcasing the authentic taste of Tonglu combined with exquisite culinary artistry.
In just two short days, this has become a hotel I genuinely want to recommend and one I'm eager to revisit. See you next time!

The service was excellent. Luggage can be checked in and out, and the process is well-managed through a mobile app, allowing you to track its status at any time. Checking in felt a bit like a lucky dip, as all the Wuzhen guesthouses are part of the same complex, and you don't know which specific building you'll get. However, it turned out to be a wonderful surprise! Our guesthouse was right behind Zhaoming Academy, centrally located in Xizha and not too far from the exit. All the guesthouses are old buildings, and the interiors are beautifully decorated! The best part was not only that the guesthouse was surrounded by water on two sides, but our room was also right by the water. Lying in bed, watching the rippling patterns on the ceiling and listening to the birds chirp was incredibly relaxing. The air conditioning was already turned on before we arrived. Breakfast was fantastic; we sat outside by the water, surrounded by flowers. There were also some services we didn't use, like the free shuttle buggies within the scenic area, which you can call for when you're leaving. But we didn't end up using them.

I chose Lanli after much deliberation and reading countless reviews for hotels near the Convention and Exhibition Center, where my daughter was exhibiting. We stayed for four nights and three days. The hotel's location is super convenient; it's just a few steps from Exit D of Nanyang Station on Line 1. I was really pleased that the room didn't have carpeting, the linens were spotless and odorless, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The room was spacious enough that we could open two suitcases without feeling cramped, and it came with a mini-fridge. Across the street is Dexin Wing, a small mall with various dining options, including fast food, Chinese restaurants, bubble tea shops, and common coffee chains. There's a ramen place that's delicious, and the Hangzhou-exclusive bubble tea is fantastic. On B1 of the mall, there's a good-sized supermarket, perfect for stocking up on essentials. Breakfast was also good, and the freshly ground coffee was a highlight. Next door is a residential complex, and for some reason, for two consecutive mornings, very loud music started playing early. The first day was different; I woke up to birds chirping, and when I opened the window after a rain shower, there was a fresh, clean scent of flowers and plants. Aside from being a bit far from the city center, everything else was great. Exit D also has shared bikes available, and it's just one stop from the East Gate of the Convention and Exhibition Center, making it convenient whether you bike, take the metro, or walk. Overall, I recommend staying here. I didn't take any photos of the hotel, but the online pictures are very accurate.

GGuest UserThe environment here is fantastic! The lobby has books, a guzheng (Chinese zither), and calligraphy brushes, plus two adorable parrots 🦜.
I'm very satisfied with this hotel; the rooms are spotless, and the front desk staff are wonderful.
It's also very convenient for getting around. To go to West Lake, you just need to take the subway to Xiuxi Road Station.
I really love it and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.
SShouzhongdedaoI come to Hangzhou every year. This time I chose to stay on Longjing Tea Mountain. After comparing several hotels on Ctrip, I feel that Hangzhou Radisson Longjing Manor is more suitable. The hotel is on the tea mountain of Longjing Village. There are tea gardens everywhere. Farmers can pick tea and make tea everywhere on the roadside. The environment is very good. The service of the hotel is very thoughtful. Xiao Chen at the front desk is proficient in business and can meet the requirements of customers as much as possible. We want a room with a better location, so he took us upstairs to choose a room and upgraded the room type for us for free; we stayed in the room and didn’t want to go out, and they gave us a lot of extra bottled water for us to make tea. The rooms in the hotel are very spacious, and each room can see the beautiful scenery outside the window. The linens are clean and comfortable, and all kinds of facilities are complete. The Longjing tea delivered in the room is very fresh and fragrant. Especially for breakfast, although there are not many dishes, the tastes of the several favorite ones are good. The chef’s fried eggs are in place, and the noodles are better than those in restaurants outside. I couldn’t help but eat three servings. I checked out late, and when I checked out, I met the front desk lady Chen again. She brought us water and sent us to the car. I accidentally broke a glass, but she waived our compensation, which made me feel warm! Compared with other hotels in the same area, it may not be the best in the grade, and some hardware is also aging, but considering the environment, service, price and other aspects, if I come to Hangzhou Chashan to live again, I will choose Radisson Longjing Manor.

GGuest UserEven though I didn't book a lake view room, the view towards the lake was absolutely stunning. Next time, I'll definitely splurge on a lake view room. The hotel pool was excellent; I couldn't go for a swim but took a look around, and the scenery opposite the infinity pool was also beautiful. Hotel breakfast was decent; the noodles weren't very flavorful, but that's a matter of personal taste. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic during both check-in and check-out and even gave us a souvenir. There was also a live singer in the hotel lobby.
AAnonymous UserA hidden gem of a resort hotel nestled in Xixi Wetland, with breathtaking views of traditional Jiangnan gardens. A special shout-out to Olive, whose gentle and enthusiastic service, combined with her efficient and meticulous approach, truly stood out. She even thoughtfully brought me some warming supplies on a rainy day. The villa itself is incredibly spacious, offering fantastic waterfront views. The bedding and bathroom amenities are top-notch, and the breakfast spread is wonderfully diverse. The meticulous attention to detail in the service made my stay incredibly comfortable. Overall, a perfect experience! I'll definitely choose Banyan Tree Hangzhou Xixi again on my next visit to Hangzhou.
AaigooariesHighly highly recommended!! Saw a lot of good reviews and decided to give it a try. Room was spacious and super clean, have everything we needed (they even have a pillow menu!!). Our 管家 was 小陈 and he was such a cheerful and helpful young gentleman! He waited for us right at where we alighted and guide us straight into the attraction site, their service allowed us to bypass all the hassle such as buying tickets and checking in luggages, which other tourists have to go through. 小陈 gave us a really detailed tour of the whole town the moment we arrived in our hotel, which we really appreciate. Both the dinner and breakfast were fantastic, dinner was well priced as well. The stay was not the cheapest but definitely one of the best experience during our trip!
FFazhideyangguangI was very impressed with the hotel's cleanliness. When I travel, I'm quite particular about the tidiness of my accommodation, and this stay was, on the whole, clean and refreshing. The attention to detail was excellent, making for a very comfortable experience. After checking in and entering the room, I didn't detect any stale, damp, or pungent disinfectant smells; the air felt quite fresh and breathable, which made a great first impression. The room was well-organized overall, with the floor meticulously cleaned – barely any dust or stains in the corners. The desk, shelves, and nightstands were all wiped down and neatly arranged. The bedding looked clean and tidy, laid out smoothly, and felt dry to the touch, providing complete peace of mind for daily use. The bathroom was also in excellent condition; the counter was spotless, water stains were cleaned up well, and the mirror was clear, not foggy. The shower area was properly maintained, free from heavy limescale, and the floor was dry, keeping everything fresh. High-touch items like switches and remote controls were also visibly cleaned, showing that the housekeeping staff put a lot of effort into the details. The public areas, including the corridors and elevators, were also kept quite tidy and regularly maintained. The overall hygiene standard is quite good for a hotel in this price range, with no signs of sloppiness or neglect. It was a comfortable and reassuring stay, perfect for travel or a short visit. I would definitely prioritize this hotel again if I'm ever back in the area.
AAmomaoI've wanted to visit for over ten years, and this was my first time, bringing my dog along. Right in the lobby, the hotel owner's mixed-breed dog was sprawled in the middle of the entrance, exuding a lazy, 'I'm in charge' vibe. My room was upgraded to a standalone two-bedroom unit with a terrace and living room. With two bedrooms surrounded by lush greenery, I was very pleased. The decor isn't outdated at all. I enjoyed a SPA treatment and had dinner; the crayfish was especially fresh and delicious – truly their signature dish. Xiao Yan at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic and attentive; after adding her on WeChat, she kept sending me updates on hotel activities. It was also my dog's first time seeing big horses and black swans. The hotel feels like a grand estate, and I'll definitely be returning many times. I'm sure it will get even better now that Trip.com has acquired it.

GGuest UserMy business trip stay at Hufu Inn exceeded my expectations. The room was incredibly spacious, with a solid wood desk perfect for working. The bedding had visible cotton seeds, felt healthy, soft, and comfortable, washing away all the fatigue from work. What impressed me most was the hotel's public areas and service. While relaxing in the cafe with lush greenery outside the window, the staff thoughtfully brought me hot tea. There were complimentary fruits and snacks available, and they even helped me print and bind my documents. The Hangzhou cuisine in the restaurant was also delicious. The concierge recommended Longjing shrimp, which was perfect for one person, and even gave me a complimentary Dongpo pork. I'll definitely consider staying here again.

GGuest UserAfter the May Day holiday, and before my maternity leave ended, I finally got to visit naked Castle, a place I'd been dreaming of for a long time. In short: it truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best, if not *the* best, luxury resorts in China! It's not far from Shanghai, so I can definitely see myself going back often!
The biggest highlight is undoubtedly the scenery! Driving up the winding mountain road to the peak, and then stepping into our Cliff Suite to be greeted by breathtaking mountain views – it felt like my soul was instantly liberated from its shackles. All I wanted to do was sit on the bamboo chair on the balcony and simply unwind.
Then there's the famous ancient castle itself. Although it's a renovation, it remarkably captures its original essence, while the interior beautifully blends modern aesthetics with cultural heritage. Every brick, every tile, every door, every window is worth admiring. The path leading from our room to the castle was like something out of a fairytale.
Secondly, the overall service quality was outstanding. From the front desk, shuttle staff, and restaurant servers to the housekeeping team, everyone was highly professional and efficient. Our dedicated guest relations specialist, Xiao Chen, was particularly attentive and thoughtful. We were traveling with our 5-month-old baby, and the hotel had already prepared a crib and assigned us a perfectly located room, making it easy to get to the restaurant and the castle. Despite the hotel having been around for some years, it's incredibly well-maintained and feels as good as new, which is a rare find among domestic resorts!
We've already made plans to return in autumn when the leaves change color, to enjoy the castle's beauty in a different season!

GGuest UserMy family and I had such a lovely stay at The Nook Hangzhou, and it’s the thoughtful service that made our trip truly special. From the moment we checked in, every member of the staff was warm and attentive, but Una stood out in particular for her incredible care. She prepped kids toiletries for us, even had bubble toys that my little girl was looking forward to every day. Exemplary service like this is hard to come by these days, and Una made us feel right at home, like we were staying with a friend rather than a hotel. The Nook is already a beautiful, cozy property in a great location, but its staff like Una that turn a nice stay into an unforgettable one. They even had kids playground filled with slides and ball pit. We’ll definitely be coming back on our next trip to Hangzhou, and can’t recommend this place enough for family travelers!
