Staying here on weekdays is exceptionally peaceful. The room is impeccably clean with good natural light. When you open the window, you're greeted by lush green mountains, creating a very comfortable ambiance. When I had some free time, I'd go sit by the pool, enjoy the breeze, and take in the mountain views – it was incredibly relaxing. The attractions are all at a moderate distance, so getting around wasn't a hassle. The staff are very friendly and easygoing, and any issues I had were communicated smoothly. Meals are buffet-style and meet everyday dining needs. Overall, my stay felt very solid and reliable; it's a great place for a relaxing vacation.

Everything from the accomodation to the view, the service and the food were excellent! Would say that Liangsu Shewang Honglvpai Hotel (Yangshuo Shili Gallery Yulong River Branch) exceeds 5 star hotels in certain aspects. The service team is so helpful, delivering takeouts straight to our room, and even booked a DiDi for us when we were facing an issue with the app. Our photographer Xiao Mo took some really lovely photos of me and my fiancee (not shown here, but the photos you see online are true to it!) Would highly recommend spending a night or 2 here when you are in Yangshuo. For the level of service and quality, they are actually really value for money!

My stay here was genuinely great! The lobby is elegant and refined, and the spiral staircase creates such a wonderful ambiance, perfect for photos. The room was clean, spacious, and well-laid out. The mattress was just the right firmness and incredibly comfortable – I felt so relaxed that I slept straight through till the afternoon. The breakfast selection was extensive, with a full range of Chinese and Western dishes, noodles, congee, fruits, and drinks, all very tasty and satisfying. The hotel has a delivery cabinet and service robots, and it's super convenient for getting around with the subway nearby. The only minor downsides were that the shower pressure was a bit low and the hairdryer sometimes had a loose connection. Overall, it offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth staying at.

”Extra-Large Bathtub” doesn't even begin to describe how incredibly large this bathtub was. It was more like a swimming pool. I was in heaven. I loved this hotel, the desk staff don't speak any English but they have these little ai-translation hand held devices (picture a dictaphone that translates) and are extremely helpful with a can-do attitude. I had some urgent documents I needed delivering and the staff were beyond helpful with that, I am very grateful to them. Also upon check-in they bumped me up to a suite (I didn't ask they were just being nice) and holy moly what a room. It was fabulous. The styling of this place is very old colonial palace vibes, I know they have some history displays up relating to the war but I didn't look into it, but it had a very classic airy vibe with traditional furniture and styling and I loved it. Some elements are a bit careworn and showing their age, but everything was immaculately clean. So, yes some elements like the carpeting may have seen better days but it's due to age rather than lack of attention, everything that mattered was sparkling. My shower could have fit about 5 people in there, and the bathtub another 6, so that was a real highlight, but the location was superb as well, it is on a private little resort island right next to the lake where the pagodas and bridges are. There is an easy access exit gate to the lakes, however I think it was run by the other hotel on the island because my key card didn't work late at night, however I must admit I had had a few and maybe wasn't the most able bodied reviewer in that moment. I recommend asking the staff because each night after the lake show with the performance and music lots of families were coming in that back way, so it's definitely possible I was just un-prepared. Regardless, even if you get locked out it's a short walk around to the other side of the island and the gatemen are very friendly. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel although it is not technically run by the hotel which just means it closes slightly earlier (much later than anywhere in Europe still), and when I went in the staff were just sitting around so I wasn't sure if they were open, but when they saw me they sprang into life and actually the older ladies spoke quite a lot of English and were very chatty and friendly, and they also have an iPad with an English ordering app so it is a breeze eating there. The food was very high quality and delicious, it was more expensive than eating in town but I would not say over priced given how good it was. The bar in the hotel is also nice. You can get delivery food brought directly to your room which is also excellent. They don't have room service food but why would you bother when delivery is available. The hotel has a private drive way so getting picked up for excursions or Didi rides is so easy, and the area is beautifully quiet and there are lots of birds. It is very close to all the attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill, which makes doing things (or retreating home due to the fearsome heat) very easy. I will warn you the hotel is nicely airy in the way old villas in Europe are, but because of that your air conditioning will never match that kind of incredible ice cold blast you might be familiar with in Hong Kong. Obviously, this is a very small problem when you can easily cool off in the mega-bath or mega-shower or just sit at a comfortable level of air conditioning, but if you are the kind of foreign traveller who is unaccustomed to the strong heat just be aware that this is a vintage place so you won't be able to whack the AC down to 15c and freeze yourself for relief. I really recommend this hotel, it was absolutely lovely. Oh also there is a lovely jovial old man who comes round in the evening to deliver you milk at bedtime every day, what a guy.

I came to Guilin with my mom and blindly booked this hotel, which turned out to be surprisingly good! Right outside our door is a lake view, where we could directly see Guilin's Two Rivers and Four Lakes and the Sun and Moon Pagodas. It was so relaxing to stay here! Such a comfortable lake view room! My mom has trouble with her legs, and she said she no longer has to travel far to enjoy the scenic mountains and rivers. From the restaurant, we could also clearly see the Sun and Moon Pagodas right in front of us. I especially love watching the atmospheric night view. I'll definitely book here again next time I visit.

The room directly overlooks the artificial lake, which is absolutely beautiful. If I were to visit again in March or April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it would be truly magnificent. The breakfast was also quite enjoyable; I even got to make my own waffles, which were wonderfully fluffy and soft, just like the ones my grandma used to make back home. The environment here is also very relaxing and pleasant.

This hotel offers breathtaking views and incredibly thoughtful service. Even though heavy rain kept us indoors, the cafe's scenery was enough to lift our spirits. We spent a whole afternoon and morning at the hotel, just relaxing and admiring the beautiful views, even trying out rope weaving. In the evening, there was a sound bath healing session, and the rooftop pool was absolutely stunning. You don't need to leave the hotel to experience the essence of Guilin's landscapes. And the location? It's super convenient for getting anywhere. Coming here truly fulfills the dream of a poetic and distant getaway 😊

My overall stay was absolutely fantastic. The ambiance was elegant and grand, creating a very pleasant visual experience. The room was spacious and didn't feel cramped at all, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The decor was simple yet tasteful, and all the amenities were neatly arranged and clean. The sleeping experience was incredibly satisfying; the soundproofing was effective, allowing for a very peaceful night's rest. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and very efficient and helpful. They responded promptly to any requests. The surrounding area offered convenient transportation and a wide variety of dining and entertainment options. Overall, the value for money was great, and the living experience was comfortable and cozy. It was a very satisfying stay, and I will definitely prioritize this hotel for future trips.

Outstanding hotel, highly recommended. The rooms are large, comfortable and practical, with lovely views of the river. The bathrooms are especially nice, with large bathtubs. Breakfast is varied, with an excellent range of delicious food. The staff are extremely polite and helpful: they were able to check me in even at 3:00am after I arrived on the night train. The cleaners are quick, thorough and efficient, too. The staff provide thoughtful gifts like free oranges for Spring Festival. The hotel is well located for getting around Wuzhou, and all the taxi drivers know it. There seems to be lots to do within the hotel, too, including restaurants, a spa, a KTV lounge, a tea house and a swimming pool, so it would be excellent for large groups too.

Booked a room at Shangri-La Guilin via Trip.com, and my experience far exceeded expectations! The river-view room offered an amazing vista, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly overlooking the breathtaking Li River scenery. Waking up to the misty morning view felt like stepping into a painting – absolutely enchanting. Although the hotel has been open for many years, it's exceptionally well-maintained, exuding an elegant charm without feeling dated, truly showcasing the quality of a seasoned five-star establishment. I was pleasantly surprised to encounter peacocks on the grounds and even got to see one display its stunning feathers up close – it was both graceful and therapeutic. The breakfast is arguably the best among hotels in Guilin; it boasts a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options, with authentic freshly made Guilin rice noodles and quick replenishment of fresh items. The service was attentive and thoughtful throughout, making my entire stay comfortable and hassle-free. This is definitely a must-stay when visiting Guilin; I'll choose it again on my next trip!

GGuest UserA hidden gem by the Yulong River, perfect for a family retreat! ✨ Choosing the right accommodation truly elevated our Yangshuo trip, and the Yangshuo Xishi Jinshe (Shili Gallery Yulong River Store) is a divine hotel nestled amidst the mountains and rivers. Our experience was absolutely perfect from start to finish – I wholeheartedly recommend it! Before I dive into the review, I have to praise the service. It was thoughtful, warm, attentive, and considerate throughout our stay, making us feel incredibly cherished. 🥰 The hotel's location is absolutely stunning, right by the Qinglong Bridge on the Yulong River. From the large floor-to-ceiling window next to our bed, we had direct views of the continuous karst peaks and the gently flowing Yulong River, with bamboo rafts slowly drifting by our window. Every glance offered a picturesque, ink-wash painting-like scene. The design is simple yet sophisticated, blending perfectly with the natural landscape. The super-large floor-to-ceiling windows, courtyard lawn, and the rooftop 'sky mirror' all provided perfect photo opportunities. The environment is serene and peaceful, completely away from the hustle and bustle, creating an incredibly immersive atmosphere. I must commend the service again; it was exceptionally thoughtful, offering full butler-style service. Every front desk staff member was enthusiastic and meticulous, always ready to assist with any questions. The attention to detail was impeccable, making the entire experience relaxing and heartwarming. We initially booked for only two nights, planning to try another hotel for a different view, but we were so touched by the service that we extended our stay for another two nights. The service was truly exceptional. The downstairs restaurant exceeded our expectations. The ingredients were fresh and authentic. The Guilin rice noodles, beer fish, and braised chicken 🐓 were all delicious, and the eggplant 🍆 and green beans were incredibly fragrant. We had dinner there four times in a row, and each meal was satisfying and enjoyable; our whole family loved the food. The hotel's infinity pool offers direct views of the beautiful mountains and rivers. Our children spent several afternoons playing there. The area around the pool is comfortable and well-equipped, allowing adults to relax and enjoy the scenery while the kids have fun. It was a truly healing and immersive experience amidst the mountains and rivers. The environment, service, dining, and facilities were all top-notch. Whether for a relaxing getaway or a family trip, this is definitely a treasure choice for a stay in Yangshuo!

MManmandianxiaThis family-friendly hotel in Yangshuo truly deserves all the praise! We stayed in the family balcony suite, and it was so spacious that our child immediately started running around excitedly upon entering. It even came with a small tent and a building block table. With a large balcony and two bathrooms, our family of four was super comfortable, and my parents had their own private space. The room featured a king-sized bed and two single beds, plus four complimentary breakfasts – so convenient and great value. The hotel really pays attention to family-friendly details: there's an indoor kids' play area and they gave us 20 game tokens, which kept our child entertained for hours. The bedside tables have wireless chargers, so no more searching for cables. The balcony has a drying rack and a rattan swing chair, making laundry super easy. Plus, there's free underground parking and EV charging spots, so driving here is stress-free. And the 'Sky Realm' on the rooftop? Absolutely stunning for photos! The mirrored installation reflects the blue sky, white clouds, and the mountains of Yangshuo, making every shot look like a magazine cover. It's also just a 10-minute walk to West Street, which is super convenient for trying beer fish and exploring the night market. If you're coming to Yangshuo with kids, just book this place – you won't regret it!

The view from the room was expansive, with beautiful surrounding landscapes and scenery, and the courtyard environment was quiet and comfortable. The owner's service was also very thoughtful. They were friendly and approachable, actively asked for our feedback on our stay, enthusiastically recommended authentic local cuisine, and meticulously shared practical travel routes. The complimentary travel photoshoot was something we just wanted to try, but to our surprise, it was very efficient and the results were fantastic. GGuest UserThe rooms are spacious, clean, and the service is excellent. The breakfast is also quite good. The mountain view rooms directly overlook a large, beautiful pool. The hotel is located on a hillside, and security guards are present at the entrance and exit, which is reassuring. There's a free pool table, a mountain-view gym, and a complimentary tea room available for quiet meetings or work, which is a great touch. On the downside, there isn't much to do in the surrounding area; it feels like it's still under development. Also, there were no towels or water bottles near the gym equipment.

BBuergehasilalishiminI chose the newly opened TUI BLUE Yangshuo Xiangelai for my recent staycation, and I was genuinely impressed with my two-day stay. Here's my full experience: 🏨 Public Areas: Bringing Karst Landscapes Indoors The overall design incorporates the surrounding peaks as its gateway, with light and shadow setting the scene. The grand dome of the lobby features fiber optic lights reminiscent of fishing fires on the Li River. The outdoor infinity pool, nestled among the peaks, makes you feel like you're swimming within an ink wash painting – serene and picture-perfect. 🛏️ Rooms: Panoramic Luxury from 52 sqm Even the basic rooms start at 52 sqm, offering generous, unconfined space. Each room boasts smart home technology, underfloor heating, and a scenic balcony, showing great attention to detail. With 270° floor-to-ceiling windows, you can simply open them to witness the misty peaks. Wake up to stunning mountain sunrises right from your bed. The Joloves amenities and goose-down bedding feel incredibly soft and luxurious. The soundproofing at night was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful sleep during my stay. ✨ Hardware & Service: Understated Luxury, Experience First The butler service was thoughtful and attentive, proactively planning itineraries and assisting with ticket bookings. They even offer a professional photographer for travel shots (Figures 12-15). The breakfast offers a mix of Chinese and Western options, with freshly made Guilin rice noodles that are authentic and delicious. The afternoon tea (Figures 10-11) is exquisite and perfectly complements the mountain views, creating a truly delightful experience. 📍 Location: Beautiful from Every Angle Directly opposite the 'Impression Sanjie Liu' show, it's just a 2-minute walk away. It's also conveniently located for accessing the Yulong River and West Street, easily reachable by electric scooter. The hotel offers a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling area, ensuring excellent privacy. By day, open your window to the serene Karst peaks; by night, enjoy the spectacle of 'Impression Sanjie Liu' lights – truly offering the best of both worlds. 💡 In summary, TUI BLUE Yangshuo Xiangelai perfectly balances natural landscapes, aesthetics, and luxurious comfort. There's no exaggerated extravagance, just an understated yet high-end sense of comfort. For a vacation in Yangshuo, this is definitely a choice for quality that will leave a lasting impression. I can't wait for my next stay!
