This hotel is the pinnacle of luxury for a trip to Xi'an! The Scenic Terrace Room at the Yongning Gate雅致酒店 (Yazhi Hotel) was absolutely amazing. The location is simply divine, right next to the Yongning Gate city wall, and within walking distance of the Bell and Drum Towers and the Muslim Quarter. The subway station is just a few minutes away, making it incredibly convenient for exploring and dining. The Scenic Terrace Room we booked was an exceptional experience. The room was spacious and airy, with a light luxury Tang Dynasty-inspired design that created a wonderful atmosphere. The private terrace offered a direct view of the Yongning Gate archery tower – imagine soaking in the ancient charm of the city wall by day, and enjoying the dazzling illuminated Chang'an nightscape by night. Every photo we took looked like a stunning historical drama scene. The entire room featured smart voice control, and the Mousse mattress was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and tidy with a separate wet and dry area, truly showcasing attention to detail and quality. Anna at the front desk provided exceptional and thoughtful service. We received a delightful afternoon tea upon check-in, and even free late-night snacks. The staff were all enthusiastic and professional, making us feel completely at home.

Our stay at the W Hotel was absolutely incredible. I was completely blown away by the sheer scale and beauty of the building — everything felt luxurious, modern, and thoughtfully designed from the moment we arrived. The lighting, flooring, and stunning views over the lake created such an impressive atmosphere throughout the hotel. I had asked if it would be possible to upgrade to a lake view room, and the staff kindly arranged it for us the following day, which we really appreciated. It was also our anniversary, so the hotel surprised us with balloons and a cake in the room, which was such a thoughtful touch. My partner especially loved the cake — she probably ate 90% of it herself! The food throughout our stay was amazing, and the breakfast spread was one of the best I’ve experienced anywhere. There was such a huge variety of options, all beautifully presented. The cocktail bar / Betty Boop bar was also fantastic, with a really stylish atmosphere, and the complimentary cocktail each day was a great bonus. The facilities were equally impressive. The swimming pool was massive, the hot tub was excellent, and the gym was honestly incredible — modern, spacious, and very well equipped. What stood out most was how unique the hotel felt. The Art Deco influences mixed with the modern design made it unlike anywhere I’ve stayed before. Every detail felt polished and high-end while still feeling welcoming and enjoyable. Overall, one of the most beautiful, stylish, and memorable hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and I would happily return again.

My connection with Sheraton began years ago at the Sheraton Dameisha in Shenzhen. This trip was a quick one, so I only stayed a night at the Sheraton Xi'an Hotel, Bell Tower, but I was extremely satisfied. I was initially worried that the hotel's central location would be noisy, but upon checking in, I found the room to be surprisingly quiet despite being in a bustling area, offering both convenience and comfort. Furthermore, the staff left a deep impression on me: Jennifer proactively reached out to confirm my needs, Yukiki was flexible, enthusiastic, and thoughtful, and Hellen was meticulous and attentive. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends, and it will be my first choice when I visit Xi'an again.

Weekend train trek to BaoJi from Xi’an. It’s a very walkable city, and there are bikes all around. Crowne Plaza has a nice longe on the 40th Floor. It is next to a mall, and adjacent to the theater. The park nearby stretches to the historically designed walking bridge into Chencang Old Street (I suggest folk music bar next to Panda Aquarium/BaoJi Station display). Crowne has nice views and comfortable rooms. Staff is bilingual and everything is clean. Of the Crowne Plazas I have stayed in, this one is maintained well.

I came here for Phoenix Legend's concert. Monica from guest relations called me in advance to help arrange my room. She answered all my questions and paid great attention to every detail. The room had a fantastic 180-degree panoramic window view, and the layout was quite good. The bathtub was perfectly angled for watching TV, and the TV's sound could be adjusted from the speaker above the tub. In the afternoon, I ordered some takeout and wanted to throw out the trash myself. When I was leaving, I happened to run into the housekeeping staff, and she took the trash bag directly from me. When I returned, I found my room had been tidied up again, and turndown service was provided. It was very thoughtful. There's a dedicated elevator to the guest rooms, and you need to swipe your card to access your floor, which made me feel very secure. The hotel breakfast also offered a wide variety and was delicious. Overall, it's a highly recommended hotel!

The location of The Westin Xi'an is absolutely unbeatable! It's directly across from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, just a 2-minute walk away, and you can reach Datang Everbright City in 5 minutes to catch the light show and performances. At night, you can enjoy panoramic views of the illuminated pagoda right from your room. It's also conveniently located near a Line 4 subway station, making it super easy to get to all the attractions – truly hassle-free travel. For shopping and dining, Xi'an Joy City is right outside the hotel, offering everything you could possibly need. And the hotel service? Absolutely impeccable. From the moment I booked, through check-in, and finally at check-out, the guest services team, especially Nico and Candy, provided thoughtful and proactive assistance. This included pre-arrival check-in guidance, license plate registration, a local sightseeing map, performance schedules, and even information on traffic restrictions during the May Day holiday. The front desk staff were professional, efficient, and highly skilled, able to answer all our questions and accommodate our specific requests with ease. This really speaks to the hotel's mature and comprehensive management system, where management empowers their staff, significantly boosting service efficiency and quality, and actively enhancing the hotel's and brand's image. Even the housekeeping staff were incredibly meticulous and diligent, ensuring our room was cleaned and amenities replenished promptly and thoroughly. It's no wonder The Westin Xi'an (Datang Everbright City store) is ranked number one for hotels in Xi'an on Ctrip – it truly deserves it.

The facilities are complete and impeccably clean! The Spring Afternoon Tea is delightful, and the evening sweet soup is a thoughtful touch—everything is so well-prepared! The surrounding area is very convenient, with popular spots like the Muslim Quarter and the Bell Tower (which are on the must-eat list) nearby. Room attendant Song Miao provided excellent service; she was very attentive and friendly. The room was also kept exceptionally clean!

I stayed for two days, and here are my thoughts: Pros: The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Huaqing Palace. During my stay, I could access the scenic area directly from an inner door, which was very convenient. The hotel provides electric shuttle buggies, and the staff were responsive and readily transported us between the lobby, restaurant, and our room. The fruit and beverages provided in the room were plentiful, as was the drinking water. We could enjoy a private hot spring bath without leaving the room, and the water temperature was perfect. Suggestions: The butler service was virtually nonexistent. I asked them to help cancel a photography session, but there has been no reply or response in the group chat. When dining at the restaurant during heavy rain, I asked for an umbrella, but was told to get a raincoat from inside the restaurant, which resulted in my shoes getting soaked. There was a leak in the bathroom and shower room. The butler said they would block it with a cloth the next day, but when we returned to the room the next day, we found they had applied a ring of sealant to the glass, which had a very strong and unpleasant odor. Housekeeping needs improvement: On the first night, when we filled the hot spring, the windows by the bar and the hot spring bath were left open. Because of the curtains, we didn't notice, and the loud sounds from the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance seriously disturbed our sleep. On the second day, after room cleaning, no new small towels were placed by the sink. I suggest improving service procedures and standards.

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful. I'm sensitive to the cold, and they thoughtfully moved me to a room on a higher floor, which I really appreciated! The room itself was unique, with a cave-style *kang* (heated bed) that was a full three meters long. Our balcony overlooked Red Street, and at night, we could watch the illuminated Ferris wheel 🎡. I'll definitely stay here again next summer! 👍👍👍

This hotel is perfect for a family trip. My family and I had a very comfortable stay. It's a quiet, older hotel, so some of the facilities are a bit dated, like the TV and toilet, and there isn't a central control switch for the whole room. The wardrobe also looks a bit old. However, the front desk service was excellent; they genuinely tried to solve problems for guests and were very friendly to children. The complimentary fruit and Terracotta Warrior chocolates were delicious – they weren't just going through the motions, unlike the poor attitude I experienced at a certain Hilton next door. The bedding was also very comfortable, and you could even choose your preferred pillow. We even received a small gift when we checked out. The downtown location is fantastic, with all sorts of dining options nearby. The only minor issue was that the housekeeping auntie wasn't quite on top of refilling the tissues, and we ran out a bit. But when we called the front desk, they responded very quickly.

GGuest UserI'm only getting around to writing this review now, after a trip before Chinese New Year, because the experience was truly memorable and worth savoring. The hotel's location is excellent; it's not far from attractions like the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Forest of Steles. On a good day, you can walk to them, or if you're feeling lazy, a taxi ride is quick. Getting to the Grand Tang Everbright City and Furong Garden is also smooth, whether by metro or taxi. The hotel's surroundings are very quiet, and once you enter the grounds, it feels like a private garden. Even in winter, you can see greenery all around, so I can only imagine how beautiful it must be during the other three seasons. What left the deepest impression was a young man from the hotel's concierge team. After my child and I finished our meal, we wanted to stroll around the courtyard. He proactively approached us, asking if we had eaten and where we planned to go. We told him we weren't going far, just exploring the courtyard. He enthusiastically informed us that there was an olive tree in the backyard personally planted by Premier Zhou, suggesting we look for it. We were pleasantly surprised and immediately decided to seek out this piece of history. Early on February 11th, we had booked a trip to the Terracotta Warriors. Since it was quite a distance, we rushed to the restaurant for breakfast right when it opened. As the elevator doors opened downstairs, it was the same familiar young man, greeting us with a cheerful 'Good morning!'... Throughout our stay, we encountered this diligent and hospitable staff member many times as we came and went. Even my child would proactively say hello to him, as if he were a familiar family member! The feeling of being welcomed like family truly slowly permeates and influences those around you. It's a shame he wasn't on duty the day we checked out, so we couldn't say goodbye in person. I have a small suggestion for the hotel's guest rooms: it would be best to provide plastic non-slip mats in the shower. The lack of non-slip slippers, with only cotton bathmats available, isn't enough to prevent slips in the shower. Moreover, showering barefoot isn't comfortable for most Chinese people, especially women and children. Sometimes, a non-slip item is much more practical than just a warning!

JJohnTingThis is more than a hotel. It is a sanctuary in the middle of bustling Xi'an. We were always welcomed with a warm smile by the staff daily. The hotel was tastefully designed and exuded warmth and calmness. The clever use of earthly colours and heavy accent on the usage of timber created an inviting atmosphere. The usage of lightings to highlight certain objects while casting shadows around said objects created an impression of an art gallery. One word to describe this hotel.... LOVELY!!! The butler service in servicing breakfast, afternoon tea and supper was highly appreciated. One added bonus for me was that I was able to photograph Bell Tower in peace and luxury at the top open deck. Highly recommended this hotel for relaxation and also photographing Bell Tower

GGuest UserThis hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As soon as we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly in the lobby and helped us with our luggage. The front desk lady even gave our two elderly parents two wormwood massage sticks, which they absolutely loved! The next day, they asked for another one, and she kindly gave them another. Later, one of our elderly parents caught a cold and had difficulty walking. The breakfast staff were very accommodating and allowed us to take food back to our room. The cleaning staff always greeted us warmly, truly making us feel at home. The hotel's swimming pool has excellent water quality and a perfect temperature, far surpassing many other hotel pools – it's a must-visit during your stay! The gym facilities are first-rate! When we left, the front desk gentleman was also very helpful. Our family stayed for 3 days, and the experience was top-notch, bringing our Xi'an trip to a delightful close! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay at Xi’an Summerset – Highly Recommended! We had a fantastic experience during our stay at Summerset. The breakfast selection was outstanding, offering a wide range of both Western and Eastern dishes—something for everyone to enjoy! The room itself was very spacious and thoughtfully equipped, including a full set of cookware and kitchen utilities, which made it easy for us to prepare our own meals when we wanted to. The in-room washing machine was also a huge convenience for a longer stay. The on-site facilities are exceptional. The gym is well-equipped and includes not just standard fitness machines but also a swimming pool, sauna, table tennis, and even snooker—a great bonus for relaxation and recreation. We were traveling with our parents, both in their 80s, and the staff could not have been more thoughtful or accommodating. They were attentive to our needs and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Another thoughtful touch is the option to request an extra bed, which made our stay even more comfortable for our family. We’ve stayed at Summerset before, and this visit only confirmed why we keep coming back. The service, amenities, and overall experience are consistently top-notch. Highly recommended for both short and long stays!

JJ4ckyService: 10/10 What an amazing stay here at the Intercontinental, stayed here for 4 nights in the Deluxe King room. Arrived and checked in late at 12AM, the staff were pleasant and respectful, quick and got me settled in. The staff were very attentive and service just impeccable - consistent in greetings at each turn and always double even triple checking if you require and help. Room: 8/10 The rooms are clean, and cleaned on a daily. The cleaning lady was incredibly attentive, on the first night I asked for more water as the room only came with two, consistently day after day they left 4 bottles for me which was really appreciated on my part - it’s a minor thing but it really elevates the experience. Room is quiet, can’t hear a thing from the opposite rooms. Occasionally there are some sounds from the door but it’s really unnoticeable. Shower; the only reason why i didn’t give it full marks. Maybe it’s personal preference but the water does not seem to get hot enough, the water pressure on the shower head seems a bit lacking. Nevertheless though, don’t let that deter you from booking as it’s still an overall great stay. Tub; no complaints, water runs hot, what better way to relax and kick back after a day of being a tourist and walking 20k. Location: 10/10 I think this one is completely subjective to personal preference. The location is in the midst of white collar working towers so there is quite a bit of traffic. There is a subway station close by as well -though I never used it as I took a Didi 100% of the time. A mall is nearby within walking distance but again didn’t go. Most commutes by didi take 20-30 minutes due to the traffic but honestly looking at the Westin or other hotels in prime tourist locations (ex. Pagoda , bell tower etc) there is sooo much traffic and noise as they have so many different activities happening there. For me this location have me back some silence after a long day out. Atmosphere: 10/10 The hotel is beautifully decorated, cleaned throughout. Jo Malone fragrances in every elevator. It was such a relaxing atmosphere to be in. Breakfast: 10/10 If you can, give the breakfast a try. There’s a huge variety of Xi’an delectables you can try, from the roujiamo, liangpi etc that are available plus a mixture of western food. The staff I must commend once more are incredibly attentive and always try to make your experience better. Final thoughts - highly recommend the intercontinental Xi’an for your next stay. I truly enjoyed it and would recommend it for those coming for a 5 star experience!

RRTA58Booked this Novatel hotel for one night aiming to tour around the Xi'an bell tower area. 1. Moving from Marriott Hotel to Novatel, it gave not good impression due to the simple entrance at first floor (maybe get used to grand first floor reception and lobby). 2. The light at the corridor are dark, again not good impression after checked in at around 8pm and walked to the room alone (no other guest insight). 3. Services are however very good. A. Given the room is a bit cold, a separate portable heater is provided B. Helping with setup the wifi connection since encountered issue (connected but no internet) C. Also help with the handling of Taobao item 4. The room is ok and location is very good (close to the bell tower etc)

CChumenxiuxingThe location is truly unbeatable! It's super convenient to get to any attraction. The hotel is right by Exit B of Longshouyuan Station on Line 2. It's only 3 stops to the Bell Tower. If you want to visit Daxingshan Temple, SEG Shopping Center, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and Datang Everbright City, just take the subway to Xiaozhai. Xi'an North High-Speed Rail Station is only 6-7 stops away. In short, the transportation is simply unmatched. We even cycled from the hotel entrance to the City Wall, which took just over 10 minutes. As for the service, they add you on WeChat, and a butler checks in daily to ask about your stay and if you need anything added to your room. There's Longshouyuan Night Market and Chang'an Food Stall right opposite the hotel. You don't have to queue at other attractions; we just came back to eat at this place opposite the hotel after sightseeing. There's a Terracotta Warriors shuttle bus right outside Chang'an Food Stall. It runs every half an hour and costs 30 yuan per person. For a trip to Xi'an, this hotel really wins on location!

TTumB1edRain fell on Chang'an, washing away the summer heat and making Xi'an much more bearable. The hotel room offered an absolutely stunning view from the window. As I opened it, the moist air, carrying the fresh scent of earth and plants, enveloped me. In the distance, the faint outline of the city wall peeked through the rain and mist, like a classical ink painting. On a day like this, it's perfect to just stay in the room and do nothing else. Dier was excellent and ensured everything was perfectly arranged.

JJaddXi'an Airport Hotel is perfect for catching an early flight! Its location is unbeatable, with direct access to Terminal 3 on the third floor, just a few minutes' walk away—super convenient. The room was spacious and clean, the bedding comfortable, and the soundproofing excellent; there was barely any noise from planes taking off or landing. The front desk staff were efficient and enthusiastic, and the 24-hour service was a thoughtful touch. Although some facilities are a bit dated, they are well-maintained, with plenty of hot water and a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom.
