Lliuliu2005I'd heard great things about this hotel for a while, and even though it was a bit far from where I needed to be, I still chose to stay at the Legend. It lived up to expectations and was definitely worth the price. 'Historic, elegant, and high-quality' – that pretty much sums up my overall impression. Upon check-in, they upgraded my room, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The facilities are incredibly well-maintained, indicating excellent materials, meticulous management, and careful upkeep. The off-white seating in the public areas was spotless, instantly reassuring me about the hotel's hygiene. The courtyard was smaller than I imagined, but the greenery and layout were very pleasant, especially the centuries-old trees that seemed to stand guard, inspiring a sense of reverence. The guest room was comfortably and tastefully appointed, with multiple small, opening windows – a refreshing change from the large, fashionable windows often found today – offering a more residential feel and excellent privacy for different functional areas. The breakfast was exceptional, with both a buffet and à la carte options. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and it was absolutely delicious! When I returned to the hotel around noon after my errands, they kindly extended my check-out until 2 PM. The service was delightful; they diligently helped me with my luggage both upon arrival and departure, making me feel right at home. The breakfast and late-night snacks each day were also very good. They even contacted me in advance of my stay to send me a travel guide. Any requests I had were met with a patient response, and the rooftop pool bar is also gorgeous. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserI absolutely have to give this hotel a five-star review! Beyond the facilities and ambiance, what truly touched me was the warmth of the people. The service team was incredibly responsive to every request. I was worried about mosquitoes, and the staff patiently brought mosquito repellents multiple times. The biggest surprise was being showered with treats from morning till night: snacks and drinks in the lobby during the day, and Tremella soup before bed. Breakfast was not only abundant but also delicious. A special shout-out to the hotel's photography service; it was a fantastic experience with a high success rate for great photos, and the photographer was excellent at directing. The hotel's souvenir gifts are also incredibly chic—I loved them! The service strikes a perfect balance, being warm yet unobtrusive. This is, without a doubt, the most comfortable hotel I've stayed in recently.

VValarie474This covers the second half of a longer 12 nights stay split across two bookings. My first review covered the first seven nights, which were excellent, so this is about what changed at the end. My last night fell apart. I'm somewhat tolerant of noise, so this isn't a light-sleeper complaint: someone checked into the room above and from late evening until after 2:30am it was nonstop heavy stomping, furniture dragging, banging, jumping, running, and actual screaming, sometimes sprinting in place like they were trying to come through the ceiling. I didn't call right away because I figured they'd settle down at bedtime, but the intensity only increased after midnight. It didn't let up until after 2:30am, and I had an early start. The real problem was that I couldn't get help. The listing doesn't promise English-speaking staff, but trip.com is the foreigner-friendly platform, so I'd assumed there'd be some overnight path to assistance. There wasn't. The front desk could only tell me ”don't speak English,” and when I escalated to trip.com around 2:30am, even they couldn't reach anyone. Being stuck with no way to call for help in the middle of the night was the one thing that genuinely soured the stay. Otherwise the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, even coming up to my room to help track down a misdelivered order, which there were a couple of these. One heads-up: the hotel's registered address in Alipay doesn't match its name, so deliveries WILL go astray. I'd happily return, but only with a top-floor room to avoid the overhead-noise problem.

GGuest UserThe room facilities are all new, the bed's firmness is just right, and the shower water pressure is perfect. The soundproofing is also quite good, and the air conditioning temperature is comfortable. This InterContinental is probably the best InterContinental I've stayed at in terms of service within the IHG Rewards Club in recent years. From the moment I arrived, the doorman immediately helped me with my luggage from the car to the front desk. When I encountered an issue, manager Skery was very helpful and pleasant in resolving it. Knowing I have rhinitis, she thoughtfully arranged a humidifier for me, which led me to extend my stay for another night. The lobby manager greeted me warmly every time we crossed paths, and when I checked out, the doorman once again helped carry my luggage to the car. These are all small details, but they make you feel truly taken care of. I hope other InterContinental hotels can reach this level of service too.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at the Novotel Bell Tower Xi’an. The highlight of our experience was the exceptional service from the staff, who were always warm, friendly, and helpful. A special mention goes to the concierge (we didn’t get his name)who went above and beyond by waiting with us until our Didi arrived to make sure we got into the correct car. That thoughtful gesture made us feel safe and well taken care of. The family room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, providing plenty of room for our family. We also appreciated the complimentary self-service washer and dryer, which was incredibly convenient during our trip. Another lovely touch was the complimentary afternoon tea, which was a nice way to relax after a day of sightseeing. Overall, this hotel offers excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and thoughtful amenities in a great location. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Xi’an.

GGuest UserAlthough the room facilities are a bit dated, the cleanliness is excellent, and the service attitude is great, which compensates for the older amenities. The afternoon tea in the executive lounge is good, and the light meals during happy hour are decent. The hotel's location is superb, right by the entrance to Metro Line 2, making it very convenient to get to tourist attractions. It's also close to a commercial area, so dining and shopping are very easy.

What's truly remarkable is that despite its bustling location, the hotel's courtyard design creates a serene and private atmosphere. With its picturesque bridges, flowing water, and bamboo groves, you'll wake up to birdsong and enjoy the shimmering lights at night, feeling as if you've been transported back to a Tang Dynasty garden. The check-out experience with Shanzha was excellent, offering top-notch service. It flawlessly balances urban convenience with natural elegance.

GGuest UserXi'an, as a tourist city, has truly excellent infrastructure, and the local hotel services are top-notch. This hotel, from its service to its facilities, is very good. Although it's not brand new, it doesn't affect its quality. It's very satisfactory. The hotel even offered two complimentary photo shoots, and the photography was professional – a nice keepsake for the kids. The sour soup noodles were delicious. It's not super close to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, about 1.7 kilometers away. One thing to note is that the hotel's swimming pool water quality was quite poor, and I saw a child cut their foot, so that's something to be aware of.

We visited the Terracotta Army, Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell and Drum Towers, Xi'an City Wall, and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City, among other places. We stayed at this hotel for all five days. The hotel's location in the old city is excellent, making it convenient to get to all the attractions. There are also many Xi'an specialty snack shops nearby, so dining out was easy. As an established five-star hotel, both the facilities and service were top-notch. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, and the heated pool was lovely!
