Absolutely cannot fault this hotel at all! We spent 4 nights in Rome and it was absolutely perfect. The staff are all so friendly and the rooms are stunning. Our room was spotless and they always added nice little touches. The spa was a huge bonus after walking all day. The hotel is perfectly situated to get to all the landmarks and really close to the metro station. Furthermore, it was my girlfriend’s birthday (which I didn’t tell them about) and we came back to a gorgeous cake and champagne waiting in the room. They also left roses for Valentine’s Day. I honestly cannot thank all the staff enough for everything! This is the best hotel in Rome and we will definitely be back. Thank you aleph for such a memorable trip!

It's very close to the train station. The room and bathroom are spacious, but the facilities are average. Because we arrived early, the front desk asked for our permission and added €59 for early check-in, which also upgraded us to a larger room. There was a slight leak in the plumbing when we checked in, but the hotel immediately fixed it. They also offered us dessert and champagne, and wrote us a card to apologize, as they felt we had a bad experience. However, after three days, they didn't give us new sheets, and the bathroom fixtures were stained, so the cleanliness wasn't very good. This is my second time staying at an NH hotel in Europe; the first was in Barcelona, and it's considered a good hotel for the price.
Sofitel 🏨 Health is very good, facilities are good, the environment is OK; breakfast is delicious, the restaurant service staff is more polite and thoughtful, keep smiling; unfortunately Italy 🇮🇹 Rome Sofitel Sofitel 🏨 staff do not know what is going on? The attitude of the five-star hotel I have ever stayed in is the worst. The hotel service staff at the door never pulls the door to the guests (it is not only us to observe), the chat content is full of impolite and swear words 🤬, the quality is amazing, the attitude is speechless, impolite, Not thoughtful, not service, do not know their work content and work attitude. Is it the Sofitel Sofitel in Italy 🇮🇹 that does not employ qualified personnel? Or is the company not responsible for employee training? Or is the company's salary dissatisfied? Or is this the case with the Italian 🇮🇹 Roman staff? (Other Italian 🇮🇹 hotel staff are polite! ! ! ) Or are these Sofitel Sofitel hotels that specialize in working as God?
For your reference only.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of romeo - location simply couldn’t be better. The staff are amazingly friendly and went the extra mile after i busted my ankle in rome. Special mention to the front desk and the door man who always greeted us with the warmth of a long lost cousin and were amazingly helpful throughout. They also have the best cappuccino i’ve ever tasted in my life! i’d recommend this hotel to anyone without reservation.

The noise is very loud. I live on the first floor of the annex building. I can hear walking below upstairs. The room doesn't taste good without windows.
Facilities: Everything is available, except that the wifi is very slow, everything else is perfect.
Hygiene: Previous comments said that there are skin sensitivity, but both of us have eczema and nasal allergies, and there is no problem, and the hygiene is perfect.
Environment: Newly renovated, but a little small, about 8 square meters less than the W Hotel behind, and the price is 20% more expensive, but the decoration is very extreme. Except for family travel, everything else is suitable. If you have children, this room is not recommended.
Service: From the door to the front desk to the tourist consultation restaurant, even the cleaning team has an extreme service attitude, thumbs up 👍. Especially when we traveled during Easter, they gave us priority to check in after a tiring 22-hour journey, thank you 🙏
Breakfast: It’s not rich, but you can eat until you are full, and you can skip lunch because every dish feels better than the restaurant outside 😋.
Location and transportation: The hotel itself is located next to the US Embassy in Italy, which is considered a safe area. However, there are few suitable restaurants and small supermarkets within 1 kilometer around. The bus or subway has to go at least 800 meters to about 1 kilometer.
The hotel's security settings are average, and you don't need to swipe your card to enter the hotel gate or reach each floor.
The biggest bug in hotel rooms is that the bathroom shower room is not well designed. Water easily overflows the shower room and flows everywhere in the bathroom. If you don't pay attention, the water may flow to the bedroom area when a girl washes her hair. This is very bad. Fortunately, we only stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, so we could only solve this problem by laying towels on the floor.
Mini bars also charge a fee, and the fees are relatively reasonable. Just fine.
This hotel is a hotel that I will not stay at twice. Personal living experience is for your reference.
I often stay at Marriott hotels, so I made a reservation this time as well.
The room was very spacious, and the bath and toilet were very clean.
The breakfast was also delicious, and the location is only a 10-minute walk from the downtown area, so I highly recommend it!

Location is excellent as it allows traveler to go from the central railway station to the hotel by a walk (5 mins) and avoid queuing for taxi that in Rome are notoriously rare and scam tourist and Italians alike. Downside is that at night (I'd suggest avoiding walking around past 10pm) the area is unsafe due to the large numbers of homeless people wandering around. Hotel itself was great, polite and helpful staff, beautiful setting (in particular the dining/breakfast area) and nice rooms, quite spacious by Rome standard. Breakfast was good, specially if you prefer a sweet breakfast (excellent cakes!) but somewhat lacking of savory options.
Excellent Hotel in incredible position overlooking Rome and Villa Borghese. Will be back for sure!

JJIAKANGImpressed, the hotel location is great, especially the room facing the Colosseum. The hotel staff is very conscious of service. When they leave the hotel, they also take their luggage and take a taxi, because the birthday, the hotel specially prepared birthday cakes, cookies Blessing card, send a bottle of champagne, have kitchen cooking for breakfast, get up early to watch the Colosseum morning glow, bathing facilities are very good, water temperature adjustment is very convenient, the room is rich in decoration, and the Chinese like to drink hot water. The water is relatively clean

GGuest UserIt's so good that I can't believe it! Our family of three and our four-year-old child spent two nights and three days in Rome, which was very wonderful. First of all, from the design point of view, the design of the hotel is amazing. Whether it is the overall style or the public lounge area, or the room, it is very artistic. This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in! Secondly, the service is very good. They took the initiative to upgrade us, provided welcome snacks and red wine, and the breakfast every day was super delicious and rich. The waiters were very patient and meticulous. Finally, the whole room is very comfortable, the hot water for bathing is also very good, and the location is excellent. It is very convenient to walk to any attraction! This hotel gave me a very good impression of Rome. Our whole family likes it very much. If I come to Rome again, I will choose to stay here!
LLealoveuElizabeth Hotel is just as its name suggests, literary and elegant. The art design works from inside to outside and the tone of the room make you feel the taste and quality. What is particularly commendable is that every employee of the hotel is very warm and gentlemanly. You will enjoy the treatment like the Queen of England, and the thoughtful attitude is touching. The hotel room is uniquely designed. The room has a spa room that is particularly refreshing. The room height makes people feel comfortable. There are many high-quality juices, sparkling water and snacks in the mini bar that are free. After staying in so many hotels, Elizabeth Hotel can be regarded as a gold diamond or even platinum diamond level. In short, in Rome, there is such a wonderful hotel, it is really home, and the mood of traveling is completely released! I will choose here again when I come to Rome in the future!
AAnonymous UserSuch a lovely hotel with staff who couldn't do enough to make it a perfect stay. I saw some of them being given a hard time by not-so-gracious guests, and all of them were able to handle it with complete professionalism. Very well trained and kind to us. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserThe room is spotless -sheets are being changed sometimes TWICE A DAY (!),I stayed at the deluxe room which had amazing Roman architectural elements such as extremely highly ceilings with “wavy” ceiling, big windows with antique vibes.
The room is modernly designed with great amenities.
I give the hotel extra points on using “Acqua di Parma” toiletries, it means a lot in my opinion when a luxury hotel use luxury toiletries.
The hotel staff is out of this world -very helpful, very kind and very welcoming. The reception staff is very patient and will go above and beyond in order to help the guest to have the best experience in Rome . Regarding the location -the hotel is 8 minutes walking from the from the colosseum, should I add more ?

GGuest UserI cannot even put into words how this place took my heart in a whirlwind. This is truly the most beautiful hotel with some of the kindest and friendliest souls, I’ve ever been to. I was welcomed like a queen, because it was my birthday, got an upgrade and beautiful gifts like a flower bouquet, a bottle of very nice prosecco and a delicious tart. The room - the junior suite - was just breathtaking. The materials, the love to every single detail, the smell of the highest quality materials used… an absolute dream. So is the whole hotel. The Minerva bar and the roof top restaurant Gigi with its view over Eternal City- what can I say?? I’m madly in love with- ti amo, La Minerva ❤️
BBuerderenThe hotel's design and ambiance are both beautiful and artistic, and the service is excellent. Although the room rate doesn't include meals, the hotel does provide them. The hotel has a full kitchen with an induction cooktop, oven, and cutlery. The refrigerator is stocked with eggs, three meat options, and milk and yogurt, all free. Other drinks and food are subject to charges. Since I had an early flight, the hotel thoughtfully provided snack boxes.
The rooftop bar on the 5th floor offers a beautiful sunset in the evening, but beware of skuas flying over to snatch your food.
The last photo is of an ancient building next to the hotel.
AAlejandro Esteban BustosLovely hotel located in a villa near the Vatican. Top service, facilities and food. We had an amazing honeymoon. Totally recommended!
