KirstennnHonestly, we found it to be quite a disappointment. We had a rainforest chalet, but we didn't like its location. The service is excellent, as they pick you up when you call, but sometimes there can be a wait. The chalet is a bit on the small side and also somewhat in need of renovation. You wouldn't want to sit on the balcony in the dark. We found the resort too busy/crowded, but that's a matter of taste. We don't like that. Because it was so busy, there were no loungers available by the pool. We also only just managed to get the last loungers on the beach. It was also difficult to find a table during breakfast.
There's not much to do at the resort. For older people, that's fine, but not for us. The restaurants are okay. We ate at the restaurant on the water. You have a beautiful view during your dinner there. We thought that was very nice. If you like crowds and hustle, just want to lie in the sun all day, and eat on-site, then this resort could be a good option. However, the value for money isn't entirely okay in our opinion. You pay top dollar for a tiny, secluded chalet, and if you want to lie by the pool, there's no lounger available. If you have to fight for a lounger and a breakfast table every day, we would be very frustrated. Luckily, we only stayed for two days. We felt that was sufficient.

Guest UserPros:
1. The pool is beautiful, and it's covered, providing shade during the day, which is excellent. Kids can spend half the day playing there.
2. The restaurant is next to the pool, so you can eat while watching your children swim.
3. There's a kids' playground and a recreation area, which our children visited every day.
4. The fried rice at the restaurant was good and suited our taste.
5. There's a mall about a 10-minute walk away, with places like Starbucks and KFC, and a night market in the evenings.
Cons:
1. The water from the bathtub in our room was yellow, so even with the disposable tub liners, we couldn't use it.
2. Breakfast was mediocre. The waffles and egg burritos were good, but the egg burritos were only available on the first day and then disappeared.
3. We paid for three days of breakfast for our child when we first arrived, but when we didn't go on the last day, they wouldn't refund us.

gaoshanzhaofengOur family of three chose a two-bedroom suite, and it was incredibly spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend this place to friends and family visiting Langkawi. The facilities are new, the location is excellent, and it's fully equipped with everything you could need, including a steam oven and all sorts of kitchen utensils, all brand new. The best part is that the staff cleans the dishes for you the next day! The front desk staff during check-in was exceptionally helpful and accommodating; they even allowed us to pay the deposit in USD instead of Malaysian Ringgit. The doormen were always quick to open doors for us when we entered and exited. At checkout, multiple staff members from the lobby came out to bid us farewell, making us feel like cherished friends – it made me incredibly eager to return and visit them again. The staff's high level of professionalism and quality service really impressed me; this hotel is incredibly well-managed, and I felt everyone's smiles and kindness. The location is truly fantastic; you can walk to the commercial street, bars, and restaurants. We just asked how to get to the beach, and a staff member immediately drove us there in a small bus. I was genuinely moved by their staff's dedication.

The resort view is very beautiful, lots of nature around. Even though a shelly beach, the private beach is a big plus. Been visiting for 11 nights, if you need something (amenities, meal wise), just ask, the professional staff will deliver. Tide pool unfortunately was out of service, but renovations started before we left. Big swimming pool awesome, kids pool awesome! Just check sharp corners of broken tiles.
Assume due to humid warm weather, mould on the outside of walls and doors is an issue, but still not nice to see that no effort was made to wipe it off throughout our 11 night stay.
For all activities (mangrove forest tour, island hopping, cable car and the sky bridge etc), easy to organize via reception or private tour companies (do your homework, can get the experiences for cheaper).
Breakfast very diverse and yummie!
Kids playroom needs a thorough clean, lots of human hair lying around. Gym well set up with lots of equipment, reminder there is a jacuzzi and sauna free of charge to utilize.
Overall thank you once again for all the professionalism from reception staff, room cleaning services, restaurant staff, buggy drivers, kids club staff and the regular checkins by staff like Justin for making our home away from home stay very enjoyable! Hope to return soon in the future!

Anonymous UserThis hotel is located right on Cenang Beach, offering beautiful scenery and a fantastic environment. It's not far from the airport, less than a ten-minute drive away. The rooms are spacious, and the sea-view rooms open directly onto the beach, where you can easily access water sports like speedboat rides and parasailing. The outdoor pool is huge and has lovely views. The hotel is mainly composed of wooden bungalows with excellent design, a well-thought-out layout, and high green coverage, featuring coconut trees and large lawns that create a strong resort atmosphere. All the service facilities are complete, providing a great experience that makes you want to stay forever. The restaurant has a comfortable ambiance and excellent food quality, offering superb value for money. The only slight downside was that the Malaysian staff in the restaurant seemed a bit stiff towards Chinese guests, which made the dining experience less satisfying.

The hotel is well-maintained, and the breakfast is consistently good! The fishing trip was a lot of fun, caught plenty of fish. However, I'd recommend booking the mangrove tour elsewhere (the hotel's mangrove tour didn't feature any bats). The beach is very clean, but there aren't many small creatures (like hermit crabs...). The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Choosing this hotel for our anniversary was definitely the right decision. All in all, it truly is one of Langkawi's top hotels.

The staff's attitude was generally good. Turndown service was provided in the evening, and there were welcome fruits. Since it was the Easter holiday, they even specially gifted chocolates shaped like bunnies and Easter eggs, along with a handwritten card which felt very ceremonial! The only area for improvement would be the restaurant's food, as the breakfast selection was quite limited.

The Rainforest Corner Room cost over 11,500 for two nights, which is worse than a 2.3k hotel in China. The service and everything else were just mediocre. Many hotels in Sanya totally outperform this one. I didn't experience any good service at all. I even extended my stay for two more nights, and in the new room I moved into, the cleaning staff just took all my snacks. I was hungry at 4 or 5 AM and had nothing to eat. That was absolutely speechless; I don't know what the staff was doing. The 24-hour room service food wasn't great for the three days I ordered it; the selection was pitifully small. The only upside was the oxygen machine, and the room decor was okay. Just very average, average, average.

Artem Aleksandrovich MaslovThe hotel is simply magnificent. The view from the room is splendid, the staff are friendly, and the room is clean with thoughtful amenities for a comfortable stay. The beach is excellent, and it's great that the hotel staff clean it every morning, as waves can bring in debris. The sea is wonderful, calm with no significant waves, perfect for a relaxing swim. The hotel also has two pools, suitable for children. The breakfasts are fantastic. We booked a room with a sea view, and the view is indeed impressive. What could be improved: installing YouTube on the TV. Overall, my impressions of the hotel stay are only positive :)

The hotel environment is excellent, with its own private beach and a large swimming pool. The architecture is unique, and the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, though some minor details could be improved. Its location is a bit secluded, but it's not far from the airport and very close to Oriental Village and the Panorama Langkawi. There aren't many dining options around the hotel, but I tried all three main restaurants and highly recommend the Italian one. The breakfast buffet was a bit unremarkable, but the à la carte menu was fantastic. I highly recommend trying the pancakes, waffles, eggs Benedict, and Roti Canai from the à la carte. They also have a great selection of coffee; I recommend the Flat White and Latte! Oh, and don't forget to take a walk on the beach at night and look up at the incredible starry sky!
