Perfect
HHao²º²¹The hotel is in a residential area, so there are plenty of places to eat, especially the Shuangheyuan restaurant right next door – a must-try! You can rent an electric scooter downstairs at the hotel and it's only a 5-minute ride to Jinsha Beach, which is about 3km away. There's free coffee in the lobby, and Rose provided excellent service. This place is perfect for friends traveling together.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse came highly recommended, and I can see why! I initially expected a run-of-the-mill B&B, but I was absolutely blown away the moment I walked in. The lobby and courtyard feature a charming new Chinese style, complete with bluestone rockeries and the soothing sound of flowing springs. Its central location is fantastic; despite being right next to the bustling Furong Street and Qushui Pavilion, it boasts an incredibly quiet courtyard – truly an oasis of calm in the city. We stayed in a room with a private courtyard, and as soon as we entered, my child made a beeline for the swing chair and had a blast. The room itself was incredibly well-equipped: a comfortable king-sized bed, a large bathtub that my child loved splashing around in, and a shower with great water pressure. Everything was spotlessly clean, which was reassuring when traveling with a child. The staff at Courtyard No. 8 were exceptionally warm, attentive, and always ready to help, assisting us with our luggage and guiding us through the check-in process. We took so many beautiful photos in the courtyard during our stay. Absolutely fantastic!
FFrom a SingaporeanThe positive attitude and service performance of the staff ranging from front desk, concierge/security to breakfast restaurant and house keeping is excellent. The classic hotel personal service with a modern twist makes the stay a memorable experience. On my check-in, Ms Xiao Jiao and Ms Xiao Cong gave me and explained briefly the leaflet on the hotel’s suggested tourist attractions in Yantai. They also enthusiastically exchanged small RMB notes with me. They also gave me a piece of mooncake of my choice (and during my check-out too). The restaurant staff is attentive, replenishing food and drinks and attending to requests promptly. Due to my lack of command of Mandarin and accent, the chef cooked the wanton instead of the mackerel dumplings for me, he immediately served me the dumplings when he realised the miscommunication. The next morning, after serving me the mackerel dumplings, he, I think, recognised me, suggested I could add soup and condiments to the dumplings. I find their fleshly cooked dumplings are even better than the dumplings from the most famous dumplings restaurant in Yantai. The concierge staff on 2 days helped me book taxi using her phone app, paying in advance on my behalf as booking via internet cannot be settled in cash. The concierge/front desk lent me umbrella without question.
After a delayed and tiring flight, Mr Xiao Gao brought me to my room and explained the mechanics of the switches in the room. There was a hand-written welcome note from Ms Liu, with 2 cups of white fungus/goji drink beside it. The drink together with the note and fruits in the room, not only soothed my dry throat but also lifted the mood. House keeping provided fruits, white fungus/goji drink and dried chrysanthemum/rose flowers (to prepare for drinking) and 4 bottles (500 ml) of water daily, with up to 14 bottles at the lift lobby on my floor, and guests can also request house keeping for more bottles. On my check out day, during my breakfast, they left at the door handle, a bag of goodies, fruits and bottles of water and souvenirs (4 key chains with various types of sea shells), together with a hand-written farewell/bon voyage note from Ms Liu. Well done The Center Hotel staff, you are a pride to the hotel, the hospitality industry and Yantai!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is super convenient, really close to the high-speed rail station, making travel a breeze. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfy, and the soundproofing was excellent. The front desk staff were warm and efficient. We had stable 24-hour hot water and smooth Wi-Fi. Overall, it was a great stay with excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel first for my next trip.

LLiu.liuThe hotel is right next to the bus station and very close to the train station. There are also many shops and supermarkets nearby, and car rentals are available on the adjacent road. A bus stop is right outside the hotel. The hotel service is excellent; they respond promptly to requests and meet our needs in a timely manner, which is very thoughtful. This trip had a great 'refueling station'! I'll definitely come back next time.

GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Yuangguang Hotel, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the staff, setting the tone for a truly memorable stay.
The level of service provided by the Yuangguang Hotel staff was simply outstanding. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Whether it was assisting with luggage, offering helpful local insights, or attending to any special requests, their attentiveness was truly remarkable. It's evident that they take great pride in their work, and their dedication to ensuring guest satisfaction shines through in every interaction.
The room I was provided with exceeded all expectations. It was immaculately clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and functionality. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the plush bedding to the well-appointed amenities. The room boasted modern decor that still managed to evoke a sense of comfort and tranquility. The scenic view from the window was the icing on the cake, offering a breathtaking vista of the surrounding cityscape.
Yuangguang Hotel's prime location further enhanced my experience. Situated in a convenient and vibrant part of the city, I had easy access to various attractions, shopping districts, and cultural sites. The concierge was invaluable in providing recommendations and arranging transportation, making my exploration of the city seamless and enjoyable.
In conclusion, my stay at Yuangguang Hotel was truly remarkable. The combination of exceptional service, luxurious accommodations, and prime location created an unforgettable experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a top-tier hotel experience. I'm grateful for the attentive staff and the memorable moments that made my stay truly exceptional.
CCallum McNeill-KeayI recently completed a weekend stay at the Lanou International Hotel and would like to provide detailed and constructive feedback, particularly as I have stayed at this property several times in the past. While the hotel continues to benefit from an excellent location and a generally comfortable environment, several aspects of this visit fell considerably below the standard I previously experienced.
To begin with, the condition of the bathroom facilities has noticeably deteriorated. Fixtures that were once in good working order now appear significantly worn, with visible signs of ageing and inadequate maintenance. The shower fittings, tiling, and general bathroom infrastructure all seem overdue for refurbishment. This decline was unexpected, given the hotel’s formerly reliable standards.
Secondly, the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff—especially during the breakfast service—have diminished. Staff members frequently appeared disengaged, and the overall service felt disorganised. Routine tasks such as clearing tables promptly, maintaining a tidy service area, and interacting with guests courteously were not consistently met. This impacted the overall dining experience.
Additionally, the hotel appears increasingly ill-prepared to accommodate international guests. The breakfast selection is limited in terms of food variety typically expected by international travelers, and basic utensils such as knives and forks were often unavailable or had to be specifically requested. This lack of consideration for diverse guest needs detracts from the hotel’s appeal to a broader clientele.
I hope this feedback is taken constructively. The hotel has strong underlying strengths and has provided much better experiences in the past. With improved maintenance of facilities, enhanced staff training, and more thoughtful catering to international guests, the Lanou International Hotel could readily return to the higher standards it once offered.

WWilliam_BallThey actually upgraded our room at check-in! The room instantly felt so much brighter and the natural light was incredible!
What really impressed me was that they knew we prefer soft beds and immediately changed the bedding to super soft ones! Lying on it felt like sinking into a cloud, and all the travel fatigue just melted away. 😭
The room was so clean it practically gleamed, and there wasn't a single strange smell in the bathroom – a dream come true for someone who pays attention to details!
The service was excellent throughout, gentle and thoughtful, making it incredible value for money! Staying here really put my mind at ease and was so comfortable. I'll definitely be sticking with this hotel next time I visit!

Very Good
GGuest UserThis Dragon Boat Festival, I brought my family to Qingdao for a trip, and the hotel we stayed at was quite satisfactory. The room had central air conditioning, a refrigerator, a washing machine (with a dryer), and even a kitchen where we could cook. We bought seafood from a nearby farmers' market and borrowed pots and pans from the hotel to enjoy a delicious seafood feast. Food delivery was very convenient; the delivery person would drop it off downstairs, and a robot would bring it to our hotel door a few minutes later. The kids loved this novel experience and had a blast.
When traveling with young children, comfort is key. Most hotels only offer a bedroom and a bathroom, but the rooms at Haiyi Hotel were spacious and made for a very comfortable stay.

GGuest UserWhat a fantastic stay! As soon as we entered the room, the kids were so excited they practically jumped for joy! The room looked exactly like the pictures – it truly exceeded our expectations. It was clean, cozy, and the location was excellent. The service was also very thoughtful; there were no hidden charges in the room, and all the drinks and snacks were free and could be refilled, which made the adults very happy too!
