Three days, two nights, and every day brought a new kind of 'excitement.' Day one, the air conditioning didn't work, there were tons of mosquitoes, and the shower only had cold water. The only decent thing for dinner was the fried shrimp, which disappeared in seconds, and the few other dishes available were practically snatched away. It felt like a refugee experience. Day two, we got a different room. After swimming, I went back to shower, and there was no water, then cold water, then extremely hot water, constantly cycling. The water pressure was also incredibly low; I almost lost my mind trying to rinse the shampoo out of my hair. That night, it was very windy, and there was a lot of noise outside, as if something wasn't properly secured. On the third day, as we were checking out, our luggage was mistakenly taken by a staff member and given to other guests. It was only returned after the other guests realized the error. Our luggage was perfectly fine in the restaurant; how dare you just take it away? Do you have any basic management sense? Of course, the environment is nice, that's the only highlight. Given how expensive it was during Chinese New Year, you should provide a service level that matches the price. The buffet was cafeteria-standard, and we still had to fight for food. Are you not ashamed?

An incredible place that makes you want to return again and again! Waking up every morning to such a view is a true dream. The sunsets here are simply magical, and the sea is clean, warm, and inviting. Our villa wasn't new, but it had absolutely everything needed for a comfortable stay. Special thanks to the administrator, who was always reachable and promptly helped resolve any household issues. This place gave us wonderful memories and a feeling of complete relaxation. If we get the chance, we will definitely come back here again!

Check-in process was smooth and the hotel has many good amenities like the pool and gym. Breakfast also had a lot of choices, which was nice. However, this stay was a bit disappointing. I booked a Deluxe King Room but got a much smaller room than expected. The ironing board cover was too thin and left marks on my clothes while ironing. I was also unhappy because food that I kept in the room was thrown away, and the staff said they couldn’t find it, which was hard to accept since I personally kept it there that morning. Hopefully the service and experience will improve next time.

I think the hotel, though a bit old, is very well-managed. The breakfast is delicious, and for the price, it offers great value for money. My stay felt clean and comfortable.

The experience at Semporna Sky Water Villas exceeded all expectations! My friend and I stayed in the Starlight Villa for two days, and it was truly beyond what we imagined. As soon as we arrived on the island, we were stunned by the scenery: the crystal-clear glass-like sea shimmered with various shades of blue and green under the sun. The wooden boardwalk, flanked by lush greenery, blended beautifully with the seascape – every photo we took looked like a postcard. The view from the Starlight Villa was simply incredible, with our balcony directly facing the ocean. In the evenings, we watched the orange and pink sunset paint the sea like a masterpiece, and at night, we could lie on the terrace and gaze at the Milky Way and countless stars. It was so romantic, we were speechless. The room facilities were clean and thoughtful; the wooden floors and furniture had a subtle oceanic scent, and both the shower water temperature and bedding comfort were perfect. The staff's service was truly top-notch, from their warm welcome upon arrival to actively recommending local specialties during meals, and even thoughtfully reminding us of the best time to catch the sunset. Every detail reflected their warmth. Whether it was a morning stroll on the boardwalk listening to the waves or relaxing on the terrace in the afternoon breeze, it allowed us to completely unwind. Half of the beautiful memories from this trip came from Semporna's sea, and the other half from this perfect water villa. We're already planning our next visit!

The scenery here is truly stunning. The water is crystal clear with beautiful shades of blue, like a real-life glass ocean. It is so clean and pure that you do not even need a filter for photos.Beyond the unbeatable sea views, the staff here made our trip extra special. Everyone was incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. They always had a big smile on their faces and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Perfect views combined with exceptional hospitality made this an unforgettable vacation. Highly recommended!

Overall, our stay was very good – actually, better than expected! We had a lovely balcony with a nice view. The pool itself was nice – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Staff was helpful. After we checked out, we accidentally left some clothes in the washing machine, and they kindly recovered them for us. That kind of thoughtful service makes all the difference! Downstairs, there are plenty of food options, so you’ll never go hungry. I’d definitely recommend this place for couples or small families looking for a comfortable, well-located base. Great value for money.

Always my best hotel choice in KK. Perfect sunset view from room, no need to get any hustle for a relaxed view from room. Close vicinity to most places and not too crowded.

The scenery is beautiful, surrounded by the 'jellyfish' sea. The in-room facilities are complete and kept very clean. The Xiaomi smart home system in the room is a nice touch, but it's a bit unstable. They provide life jackets and snorkel masks, so you can enjoy free snorkeling. We pre-booked the 45-minute complimentary essential oil spa, and they came to our room, which was very relaxing. My only minor complaint is that the food was the same every day and got a bit boring. If you bring your own snacks, I'd recommend not eating them in the room as it can attract bugs.
