Nice hotel except the towel is like an old rug. Management - Please get new towels for the guess. We have paid the price, but we did not get the quality we expected
Stayed for 2 nights in Room 703.
➕ Plus:
• Great location, 7 mins to Simpang Lima and directly connected to Queen City Mall, which has many good restaurants and shops.
• Good value for money considering the facilities and location in Semarang.
• Complete in-room amenities: washing machine, large fridge, microwave, stove, plates, and cooking utensils, very convenient for family stays or longer visits.
• Smooth check-in process, and no deposit required.
➖ Minus:
• Electricity went on and off more than 8 times during my stay. The outage was short each time, but it disturbed our convenience, especially when charging devices.
• A flying cockroach came out from the upper side of the wardrobe cupboard. I reported it to the staff.
• Breakfast restaurant is quite small and often crowded, with limited menu choices.
• Room is not soundproof, noise from the streets and the train can be clearly heard, even until midnight.
Perfect for families — the room is spacious and clean, ideal for bringing a baby. The service is also great, even when we requested additional cleaning after our baby's complementary food (MPASI) got messy and spilled on the floor. The price is also quite satisfying. Keep up the good work!
Here are the things considered extra servies which the guests have to pay to use: pool, cutleries to use in room when you don't order food from room service and hair dryer. That's just the things I thought to ask for, maybe tons of other things are also not free. Hospitality is awful, female crews were absolutely rude. Don't bother staying here if you're trying to have a half-decent vacation. Also, the bathroom stinks, the double bed is a fake (only 2 singles pushed together which created a hole im the middle), there are rats running around the pool area, the TV is not a Smart TV yet (old style cable only), in-house spa and massage prices were over the top.
A big hotel with its own restaurant and conference rooms, good service and a batik store in the corner. Abut outdated, but has a great view and a pool!
🏨 Truth Review Stay at Artotel Leguna Magelang (3– 5 March 2026)
i stayed at artotel leguna magelang from march 3rd to march 5th of 2026 because there was an event at university of محمد iyah magelang on march 3rd and 4th. the location is quite strategic and it makes me easy to move to the campus,so it is not too tired to go back and forth.
originally i ordered a standard room with 1 large bed, including sahur 2 pax.************can free upgrade to superior room,so the room feels more relieved and comfortable. the room is clean, tidy, and it is good to rest after a busy day of activities.the bed is soft and makes you sleep better.
what i like the most, from the room you can see the mountain view 🌄 the atmosphere is quiet and cool, especially in the morning.it’s really good to recharge the energy before continuing to activities.
about service,i think the team is friendly and responsive:
Morning, Ms. Risty and Mas Aga helped
In the afternoon, Mas Bangkit, Ms. Sheila and Ms. Nayra.
Mas Fino helped at night
Everything was helpful and communicative. If anything I needed, the response was quick and not complicated. It felt well served, not just formalities.
For housekeeping, I was helped Mas Dani. The room was always clean and well kept during my stay.
for sahur is served in buffet in the restaurant.although there are not too many choices,it is enough, the taste is good, and it is well prepared and timely.so there is no need to worry about staying during the puasa month.
Overall, I was satisfied and felt comfortable during my stay here. Suitable for those with activities in Magelang, both campus events, work, and just a staycation with a quiet atmosphere and mountain view.
if you go to magelang again,i don’t mind staying here again 👍

Very Good
GGuest UserThis is my 2nd visit to this hotel. Previous visit was quite ok, however this time we were dissapointed with their cleanliness. Once we entered the room, the bedsheet and blankets were a bit smelly and there were yellowish color on them. Also, they forgot to refill the body soap inside the room. Although they did replace the dirty bedsheets and refilled the soap after making a request, but it shows how lacking they are in their cleanliness. Management needs to pay attention to this!
GGuest UserKamar bagus dan luas, ac dingin, staff ramah, city view cakep.
Sayang nya curtain room kurang bagus perlu di ganti.
Air panas kurang.
Tp utk overall good sih .
MMiranda TjahjadiHave stayed since last year. Everything is good and not disappointing. Just one input, please be more briefed by LG for hotel staff so that LBH is friendly. Especially in the guarding section in the outside area if there are guests, there's nothing wrong with saying hello or if you see a guest who is having trouble just opening the door, can't you. That's all the input, please be helpful to LBH hotel staff towards guests. And be more sensitive to the surrounding environment.
GGuest UserRezt Hotel Semarang is a great budget-friendly stay in a strategic location. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, perfect for a short trip. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. It’s close to food spots and easy to access from the city center. A solid choice for travelers looking for a simple, clean, and affordable place in Semarang.
WWong Thai YuanGood location, hotel a little old but clean. Complimentary mineral water is restricted to 2 bottles only with only basic in the bathroom (shpoo n shower gel plus tooth brush n tooth paste). Requested for ironing board and iron that took around 45 min n 1 reminder
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is good, the facilities are complete, only parking is lacking, especially for motorbikes. Yesterday I was staying on a motorbike, it was raining at night, my helmet was all wet. Maybe that's the suggestion
MMutiaraActually the hotel is good, only get a bad experience for the first time staying here, I ordered a romantic dinner directly to this hotel cp, I made sure it was private and didn't share with others. But the reality is ZONK. On the day of H, I checked in, I didn't know if there was a single organ, I wanted to sing near the pool. I was told how many hours have been. Seriously, I have paid expensive and I was in a hurry, where many people were lined up, the gifts were also as good as it was just a day, even though I booked the dinner Romantic DR VERY DAY. Not bad, the price is 1jt, but if the waiter is so 😥 starts at 19.00 - 21.00 he said, but the tb is being rushed at 17.00-19.00 hadeh. If I didn't say I wouldn't accept it, I would have dinner at 17.00 pdhl before saying 19.00 . But besides that, it's okay, fortunately it sells a sea view. Please improve the service yes. I'm just disappointed that I should have a romantic momment dinner, even a place to be a crowded, and many people passing by when I want to take pictures. The dinner was only 1 hour and even asked to be brought to the room for the rest. It's a pity if you have to pay 1 jt so
DDon Thusitha - AustraliaI booked two rooms for my friend and family and for myself. Superb rooms. Very spacious. Value for Money. All facilities are included. Nice swimming pool.
Amazing breakfast and restaurant staff. Very kind and polite. Supportive pleasant front desk staff and security staff. Elavita front desk officer is very good. She gave full support to book my 2nd room.
I feel sad I couldn't stay more days because of back to Jakartha. Lovely pleasant stay. Do not go anywhere. Specially don't book Redoorz hotels. They are scamers. Book this anybody want to go to Purbalingga. Redoorz scamed me
DDr. OngA Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Semarang
I had a lovely experience staying at this hotel right in the center of town. The service was truly five-star—professional, warm, and attentive. The entire property was spotless and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay.
The breakfast selection was impressive, with a variety of delicious options to suit all tastes. Honestly, what more could you ask for? Everything was simply perfect.
Without a doubt, I’ll be coming back here on my next visit to Semarang.
LL. MikeThe breakfast is horrible, bland porridge, only lettuce for the salad, there's pasta but its macaroni covered in small red sauce with no taste, tables doesnt get cleaned properly, 2 people on the egg corner only serving egg with salt, no toppings, no veggies, just pure egg + salt, main course got no variation, noodle rice 1 type of veg, a fish, and chicken. To access the restaurant you need to go through the pool, cool way of thinking, not practical when theres a lot of children playing with the water, parents and nannys sitting on the side.
