4-Star Hotels in Central Java, Indonesia

The hotel is nice, the rooms are big, the mattresses are soft, and the facilities are very good for families, there is a children's playground and a swimming pool. I personally don't like the parking location because it's quite narrow and initially quite confusing. I also dislike the breakfast because the food options are very few. maybe for the next order I will not include breakfast. Very good and strategic location.

We booked two rooms. When one of the rooms, the AC was not cold, called the receptionist, and was responded to well. An hour later, the room was cold again. Breakfast is quite varied.

Nice staycation at one of the 4-star hotels in the heart of Semarang, near Simpang Lima. It's a cool new hotel, clean, and has a strategic location. Right next to the hotel, there are plenty of food options, like Tegal goat satay and authentic Semarang Hapkie noodles, plus a Superindo supermarket across the street. I often stay at this hotel chain for business trips. The breakfast menu has a good variety, including dim sum. The only downside is that the rooms don't have wardrobes, drawers, or anything like that, so there's no space to store belongings. One more important thing: please offer more attractive big discounts so I'll always book through vendors like Trip.com.

It's a top choice for both business travelers and tourists. High Standard of Service and Dining: The staff were exceptionally warm and professional right from check-in. I especially want to praise their breakfast – the variety was impressive, with a wide selection of local Indonesian flavors and Western dishes, all prepared with great care. Well-Equipped Facilities, Though Showing Some Age: The room was spacious, and the bedding was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. While it's clear the hotel has been around for a while and the decor is more classic and traditional, the overall cleanliness was spotless, and maintenance was excellent. The hotel's pool and gym were also very clean, perfect for relaxing after a busy day.

This hotel is great and very comfortable, and super affordable! It was our go-to place to stay when my friends and I went hiking in the Dieng area. We looked around, and this hotel was definitely the best! Super satisfied!

Beautiful View from Balkon to enjoy sunrise. Pleasant stay with Family. It has Only 2 Villas. There is kitchen and complete equipment. Provide Hot water, TV with netflix. The Staff is very helpful and nice. At 5 am the temperature is arround 0 degree. So prepare your Jacket and winter hat to come Dieng plateau to enjoy the sunrise.

A wonderful place... beautiful views and a comfortable atmosphere. The room was spacious and cozy. The bathroom was spotless and comfortable. The dining area was pleasant with a wide variety of delicious breakfast options... the staff were very customer-friendly. Everything was excellent at Briling Hotel. Many thanks to the hotel management for doing their best for their guests.

Plus: Friendly staff at lobby, reception and restaurant. Helpful staff at Obsidian who helped reheat our food although bought from outside 🙏👍 Location is strategic - near to the mall and walking distance old town tourist attraction. Minus: The touchless elevator buttons were too sensitive. The lift at all floors lit when hand came near. It caused the slowing down due to stopping at each floor and prolonged guests waiting time especially during peak hours. Sound proof was not effective- the loud noise from traffic, exercise dance music from nearby square was truly disturbing during night and morning. Restaurant is quite small. Hard to find a seat during breakfast time.

The breakfast is horrible, bland porridge, only lettuce for the salad, there's pasta but its macaroni covered in small red sauce with no taste, tables doesnt get cleaned properly, 2 people on the egg corner only serving egg with salt, no toppings, no veggies, just pure egg + salt, main course got no variation, noodle rice 1 type of veg, a fish, and chicken. To access the restaurant you need to go through the pool, cool way of thinking, not practical when theres a lot of children playing with the water, parents and nannys sitting on the side.

Excellent hotel! Pretty much in the central area, there are a lot of things to do and see. The hotel itself seems new, and everything works flawlessly. The staff are really friendly. Got upgraded for free, which I truly appreciate. Nice view from the room.
