I really like this hotel. It's very clean. The front desk is very nice and the service is great. There's a shopping mall next door, but the mini-fridge is very noisy and right next to the bed, making a noise every once in a while. People with poor sleep quality might not like it.

1st time in Solo, and luckily managed to find a hotel thatās next to a Mall and conveniently located.
Room was nice and up the our expectations.
Breakfast buffet spread is just nice, too.
But can be better.

Location is excellent. Around 15 mins exit Kali Kangkung toll road. But the I think for 4 stars hotel there's much to be improved such as : swimming pool is quite dirty, breakfast needs to be improved, sound proof treatment needs to be improved because the sounds from the alley are quite loud heard inside the room. Overall quite ok

The terrible stench in the room ruined everything. Some kind of technical smell of oil. Then we noticed the balls on the shower floor, it seems that they were the ones that stank. Otherwise, the room is good for an overnight stay. We couldn't appreciate the breakfast, we didn't have time for it.
It's nice that they brought tea as a compliment upon check-in. I'm also grateful that they gave the child a separate bed and his own towel. Even good hotels don't always do this.
But something needs to be done about this stench in the house. Why did you put this? That's the question.

GGuest UserWe stayed during Ied Mubarak holiday for 4 days/3 nights in April 2025. We booked 2 connecting rooms for my family (4 persons). I chose this hotel because it has swimming pool and gym, we used to exercise daily. In fact, the gym was closed for long term maintenance. It should be declared and crossed out from the hotel facility so we noticed from beginning, not surprised on site. The rooms at a glance were ok but when we looked to the interior were lousy. The curtain, gordyn, and bed lamps, dirty and stained. My children room has no curtain, so direct sunshine and very hot during the day. The towel seemed already used for years. not soft, looks lousy and the color not pure white as normally hotel towel. Each room provided safety box but no function at all. if you see the direction on the safety box (see the photo), it supposed has red button inside the box but no button at all. The safety box used 4 battery. In my room has only 2 batteries out of 4 and already expired since March 2018. My children' room has 4 battery but also not functioned. the button numbers and keys cant be pressed so we cant keep important and valuable items inside it. The swimming pool were crowded and the water was dirty. the hotel supposed to overall cleaning to the pool due to holiday seasons but the water obviously dirty. The parking lot is low maintenance, dirty, and rubbish everwhere. the Horison Ultima was only 3 years old last December 2024 as I saw from the stickwerck at lobby. The hotel was Star Hotel and changed to Horison Ultima. The parking lot was narrow and limited. For location is ok, near Java Mall. good for morning walk. the hotel staffs were polite and fast response. the amenities for 4* hotel is good enough. the mini fridge in the room is ok as well as the Aircon. If I may advise the management, please take serious attention to the cleanliness and maintenance also room refurbishment to the lousy interior inside as top priority.

GGuest UserI can't find any other word to describe this Hotel that fits more than Exceed Expectation.
I stayed here for six nights, and almost every day, the Housekeeper made some cute animal towels in the room, not to mention that the room was brand new and sparkly clean.
Let's talk about Breakfast. I was surprised by how wide the varieties of Breakfast were, starting from authentic Solo delicacies, Indonesian dishes, and some Western options. Aside from that, all of them were Yummy!
For the price I paid. Worth the bucks. If I compare it with some hotels I have stayed in outside Indonesia, Solia Zigna is still the winner.
On the second day of my stay, I remember the staff from Front Desk sent me some chocolate to the room, talking about exceptional service! Thank you so much.
I would say this Hotel is very suitable for someone who wants to chill on holiday and make a short business trip to Solo. Next to the Hotel building, there is Canting Londo Restaurant, the perfect place to set up some business meetings or meet up with some clients. Later it's nice to walk around Kampung Batik Laweyan, Located right behind the Hotel (exit from the Front Desk door ).
Overall this Hotel deserved Five stars review from me.

The WiFi signal in my room was very good, but the signal in my friend's room was very poor and there was often no signal . My room shower gel and shampoo are normal, but my friend's room shower gel and shampoo are diluted with water

MMutiaraActually the hotel is good, only get a bad experience for the first time staying here, I ordered a romantic dinner directly to this hotel cp, I made sure it was private and didn't share with others. But the reality is ZONK. On the day of H, I checked in, I didn't know if there was a single organ, I wanted to sing near the pool. I was told how many hours have been. Seriously, I have paid expensive and I was in a hurry, where many people were lined up, the gifts were also as good as it was just a day, even though I booked the dinner Romantic DR VERY DAY. Not bad, the price is 1jt, but if the waiter is so š„ starts at 19.00 - 21.00 he said, but the tb is being rushed at 17.00-19.00 hadeh. If I didn't say I wouldn't accept it, I would have dinner at 17.00 pdhl before saying 19.00 . But besides that, it's okay, fortunately it sells a sea view. Please improve the service yes. I'm just disappointed that I should have a romantic momment dinner, even a place to be a crowded, and many people passing by when I want to take pictures. The dinner was only 1 hour and even asked to be brought to the room for the rest. It's a pity if you have to pay 1 jt so

GGuest UserThe staff's friendliness saved the day, for them, Everyone from security, front desk, wait staff - was warm and welcoming. Some even had the sincerest SMILE I have ever seen. šš
Several areas of concerns are, however :
- The Housekeeping staff who was in charge of my floor, had a seriiously BAD BODY ODOUR problem: ome that would stay and linger in the room and even in the corridor.
- The food served during Breakfast was varied enough. However, the quality needs major improvement. For example, the CEREAL that I had was the most artificial tasting cereal ever! It was actually quite disgusting. And the service in the PADI Restaurant can be improved, for example: No one cared enough to EMPTY THE ASH TRAYS in the smoking area; also, quite a few times, NO STAFF was seen on the fooors, it seemed as if they were āgatheringā somewhere that would not be visible by the guests on purpose!
- The Saftey Deposit Box was not working properly and needed fixing. Someone from ROOMS Dept or ENGINEERING Dept should regularly check every room periodically, without fail!
- Last but not least, the pillow in my room smelled like something rotten / a dead rat. Very disgusting

MikeThe breakfast is horrible, bland porridge, only lettuce for the salad, there's pasta but its macaroni covered in small red sauce with no taste, tables doesnt get cleaned properly, 2 people on the egg corner only serving egg with salt, no toppings, no veggies, just pure egg + salt, main course got no variation, noodle rice 1 type of veg, a fish, and chicken. To access the restaurant you need to go through the pool, cool way of thinking, not practical when theres a lot of children playing with the water, parents and nannys sitting on the side.

TTimentoDiverI recently had the pleasure of staying at Luminor Hotel Purwokerto during my trip to Indonesia, and it exceeded all my expectations. The hotel's prime location near Purwokerto Train Station and Alun alun made exploring the area effortless. The impeccable cleanliness throughout the hotel showcased their commitment to hygiene. The staff were incredibly friendly, providing clear instructions and going above and beyond to assist with any queries. The value for money was outstanding, considering the luxurious facilities provided, including a well-equipped gym. Although the swimming pool was under renovation, the other amenities more than made up for it. I donāt know what was going through their mind when they built it. If you have such a big car, donāt ever think to bring it inside. Try to park outside or somewhere else.
