Excellent location, within walking distance to the Thamel area. It's close enough to be convenient but far enough to be quiet. We were offered warm drinks during check-in, which was a nice touch, especially in winter. The room was very clean and quiet, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared a cake for us. The laundry service was also very convenient and efficient. All the staff were very helpful. The gentleman who helped with our luggage even assisted us in identifying our car by its license plate (as all license plates here use Arabic numerals), and the front desk staff helped us book bus tickets.

After traveling around the world for over 12 years, I've become very selective of where I choose to stay. I enjoyed Aryatara Kathmandu Hotel so much that I extended my stay an additional week. The rooms are clean and comfortable, hot water showers, cold AC when needed, and free internet. Some stays even offer a complimentary free buffet breakfast. There's also a travel desk to help you with booking excursions. The location is ideal for exploring local cafés, pubs, local landmarks and restaurants, all within walking distance. The staff are very professional and personable, and the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Got discount price from trip.com ,Excellent service and breakfast was included in it which we love it and would like to book again in future, didn’t got time to explore more . I would suggest management could do better for bike parking as we travel by bike and we could not find the shade and things got wet in my bike due to rain .

An absolutely fantastic experience here! The staff are incredibly friendly, the rooms are clean, beds comfy and AC effective, with good showers and the full complement of hotel freebies (shower cap, soap, toothbrush, razor, 2L bottled water per day, tea and coffee, a fridge). The complimentary breakfast is also very good with a range of buffet options (good fruit!) and an egg bar (omelettes made to order, etc). My stay here has been great and I would love to stay again. When my airline changed my flights, extending by a day and getting a 5am taxi booked was no trouble.

I stayed here in Kathmandu after arriving for my ABC trek, and it's a really great place. The security and front desk staff are very welcoming! What's most important for someone like me, who isn't great at English, is that the front desk ladies and the owner all speak Chinese, which is super convenient. They can also help you call a taxi or answer the phone when you're heading out. The room was very clean! If I ever come back to Nepal, I'll definitely choose this hotel again. The owner can even help book flights, and they're very affordable.

Extremely wonderful hotel 15 minutes walk from the airport. Everything was sparkling clean, comfortable, and I always felt well taken care of. The gym is well stocked and has a great view of the city. Breakfast was another highlight and included many delicious Nepalese, Indian, and Western foods. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and kind, helping me call taxis for a cheaper fare than the tourist rip off price, and they also helped me store my luggage overnight while I went on a yoga retreat. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!!

1. There's no elevator, and we were assigned a room on the 3rd floor, which was inconvenient for getting up and down. 2. The hotel is located on a narrow, crowded old street, but there are many Chinese restaurants nearby. 3. The hotel's garden is beautiful. 4. It was visibly dirty, but oh well, that seems to be a common issue in Nepal, so I just tried to overlook it.

Very satisfied. The room had a small balcony, the breakfast was of good quality, the staff were friendly, and they helped resolve any issues promptly.

The hotel is conveniently situated right behind of the Garden of Dreams. Just a short walking distance to the busy Thamel area. The vicinity has convenience stores, cafes, eateries and pharmacy. The room is quite small but it's alright for a short stay. The bed wasn't quite as comfortable as other hotels that I've stayed. Very basic fitness facility in the hotel, do wish that they would make the gym bigger and better equipped. The breakfast buffet is good enough for some fuel before heading out to explore. Omelette could definitely be improved but I do like the mushrooms and bacon with my omelette. They also have a soup station which you can pick what you want to go into your soup. The soy latte was nicely done. Some day they serve the chocolate cake which is a must try. Staffs are very well trained and speaks good english. I'd definitely recommend staying here for the value for money, fantastic location and good hospitality.
