Pros Great location for exploring Themal and provided you are not too high up, you shouldn't hear any road noise as it's set back. I was on the 4th floor and could hear the incessant beeping motorbikes but had moved from the first floor where i heard none (but was directly above the kitchen so could hear banging and chairs scraping from around 6am). 2nd floor is probably a good choice Staff were all excellent Room cleaned daily with 2 large bottles of water provided each day Breakfast was ok - decent variety of fruit, local and western with custom eggs. Coffee was instant though. Air con has heat facility No deposit required on check-in Toiletries provided Cons Some noise depending on your room location - dont stay in 107 or room directly above the kitchen/restaurant No safe for passport, cash etc in room Breakfast area isn't particularly clean i.e. dirty table cloths/mats Poor standard of fixtures/fittings e.g. gaps in windows and doors, curtains dont quite close right, dirty shower curtain, the rooms have seen better days but for the price its still good value. No coffee or milk in room (or 3-in one) No phone charging point near the bed Bathroom mat was old and dirty, no floor towel Tips: take extra passport photo if you intend to get a sim card at the airport, unlimited data one with nepal telecom cost me $10 - signal was mostly ok. Get your currency before you arrive or take enough to convert there, the atm machines are expensive Taxi from airport to Themal should be around 350 rupees working on 50 rupees per km plys 30 rupees start charge. You will be hounded relentlessly by people from the second you leave the plane for tour services etc. It may seem impolite but dont make eye contact, say no thank you and keep walking, otherwise you will spend your entire trip speaking to them. Right now its cold at night, pack accordingly. Be prepared to pay for everything, every temple, every place of historical interest - foreigners are charged around 1000-2000 rupees each time. E.g. all the Durbar squares, main stupas and temples. Don't assume that because Nepal is a developing country it is cheap. It isn't. In fact i found it comparable to some developed countries and not cheaper than say Thailand. A meal would cost me around 1000 rupees. In a smaller more local place you may pay 500. Don't take your new trainers, it's a very dirty, dusty city but exactly what you would expect if you've ever seen it on TV - it's all part of the experience. For exploring all of the main parts of Kathmandu, id say 5 days is a good amount of time. I recommend the everest helicopter tour but on that note i will say that tours are very expensive here, more expensive than even Hong Kong, Thailand, etc!! I ended up walking to the main temples, Chandragiri, Bakhtapur for the more local experience.

The hotel is very good, the environment is newly renovated, the Chinese are open, the service is warm, and the price is reasonable. It is recommended that those who travel there can live here.

I was worried because there were no reviews from Japanese people, but the Google rating was good, so I made a reservation and it was a big hit! The design seemed new, so I asked and found out that it had just opened last month, and it was incredibly clean! (That's why I understand why there were so few reviews) I think this hotel is suitable for Japanese people, so I'll write a review. Good points •It's a new building, so it's new and clean •There are many global design outlets (there is also a USB type at the bedside) •There are two 1-liter PET bottles of water •It has a jacuzzi, sauna, and mist sauna (I didn't use it, but the mist sauna smelled so good that I wanted to use it. It seems like it would be better to bring a swimsuit.) •The breakfast is delicious! They also make masala tea! •The staff is super kind (the manager also understands a little Japanese) •It's located off the main road, so it's quiet at night! •The bed mat was firm and I slept soundly! Notes •I thought I had booked a room with a bathtub, but it wasn't available for my room type! If you need one, it might be better to inquire in advance. •I stayed for multiple nights, but cleaning was not included. I had my luggage spread out so that was better for me, but I wish they had at least changed the towels. I asked at the front desk and they gave me new towels so it was no problem! There was a currency exchange on the way to the hotel and the rate wasn't bad. Anyway, it was clean and cheap, and if I stay in Kathmandu I'll come back!

The location is perfect , room service can remain open until a little bit more late rather than 9pm , after that time is not possible to get food around the hotel . The staff are very gentle and servicial , the place it’s very nice and cozy

The hotel is at a good location, close to local shops and restaurants and the bus stop. Room was clean with good views of the hills and valleys. The breakfast was below average and one morning I got foul smelling corn. One night when I returned at around 10 PM the main door was closed and had to call their number and wait few minutes outside for them to open the main door.

I chose the room that can directly see the Himalayan mountain view. There is a small balcony that is free, but basically there are no blind spots in many corners of the entire hotel. In short, the snow-capped mountains are full of snow-capped mountains that you will never forget for years. The staff at the hotel are very friendly, and they reminded me enthusiastically that the sunrise is at 06:12 in the past few days, and I will get up at about 05:45 to get ready. This time I booked a room for three nights, so I think confidently , Whether I wake up or not, I will always see it. (The best suggestion is to stay for more than two nights. After all, the clouds and fog on the mountain are unpredictable. I saw a group of guests who only booked for one night, and it turned out to be foggy the next day.) Basically, I eat, drink and relax in the restaurant. I watch Indian TV series that I don’t understand. In the morning, I suggest that you can take the plate to the balcony of the restaurant to enjoy. The property is like situated on heaven. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The properties usp is its access and its infinity pool. They also have a warm water open jacuzzi beside the pool which is icing on the cake. The rooms are big in size & with traditional designs. The visitors should park there car and take free cable car ride to and fro the resort. We didn’t check this and drove to this place, which could have been nightmare if the weather was bad. The clouds come and go throughout the day and night, so in a moment it would be clear the very other moment the visibility would be zero. Their sale manager prabhakar was one guy to talk to, he was such a vibe.

I love how safe I feel in this hotel after being canceled in other local one without given me any solution! I booked this hotel immediately and got confirmed instantly . 15mn later I arrive everything is ready to check in. The room was clean and I got a nice view to city as well
