Booked a total of 6 nights at this homestay apartment. Apart from what the convenience and accessibility of the apartment’s location has to offer, the cleanliness along with the amenities the apartment provide would be the only dealbreaker that does not match up with the price-performance ratio. The rooms may look modern and stylish from the images they provide, but in actual fact it is filthy and dusty with the fixtures like the toilet door, tiles appearing to fall apart and give way anytime soon. One example would be the sofa as shown in the picture that was apparently not well-maintained. Paints were also peeling off from the ceiling that landed on our clothings. The fridge’s interior was also stained and dirty. Furthermore, we found something like an “ancient dinosaur egg” under the sofa and were amused by it. We also encountered difficulties in setting the temperature of the aircon that doesn’t seem to work despite numerous attempts. 2 days prior to checking out of the apartment, hot water supply was abruptly cut off while I was bathing at night. Nevertheless, the staff in charge were pretty friendly in explaining to us the cause of the issue. Overall it is quite a decent stay despite being costly, I would think that at this price point, I could have had found a better accommodation somewhere in the same district, and not pay S$700 for 6 nights here. 基本上还行，业主的服务态度很不错，但主要还是败在卫生上。整体上只要你不嫌太脏，还是能住的。空调得修一下，温度根本就调不了，即使调到了你要的温度，它还是会跳回原来的状态。唯一好的两点是这间住宿便捷的地点以及业主优越的服务态度。 性价比方面非常低，要按这个价格来谈，有太多方面需要去注意和提升。 感谢业主这一周的招待，谢谢！

The single room is cosy but very comfortable. The space did not feel tight and is more than sufficient for one pax. The hotel is located in a tranquil location within Gubei Watertown in Beijing. And from the carpark to the hotel (quite a distance away), they even provide a luggage delivery service, which is very convenient. The room also came with some snacks and tomatoes for small bites when we checked in. Service was great too. All in all a very pleasant stay at Gubei Watertown.

Very nice and pretty hotel next by the canal and opposite of the boat pier. The location is perfect. Next by the bus station and many restaurant around the hotel. The room was clean and big. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check in 2 hours before time

We’re a Swiss couple staying at this hotel for a week. The two people who run the hotel are extremely helpful and friendly. We had a lot of suitcases so they offered to move us to another room to give us more space. They also helped us several times with taxis and other problems. The rooms are clean, cute and stylish. It has everything you need and the area is very convenient for visits and restaurants. We have been to Beijing several times with my wife and this is the best establishment we have stayed in. We highly recommend it !

This was honestly one of the best stays we have had in China. The place comfortably fit 6 people and there was space to hang out. The decor is quite cute and plenty of amenities were provided. Although there is only one bathroom, the bathroom is quite spacious. There was room cleaning everyday and they gave us water everyday which was amazing. The host/butler? also contacts you via WeChat to accomodate your stay, so you’ll have to ensure you have WeChat. WeChat’s auto translate feature made everything such a breeze. The area is also quite nice, you are close to Sanlitun so have plenty of shopping all around you. I would highly recommend booking this place.

We are a family of 6 including the elderly and kids. We enjoyed the stay in Lezai very much. Lezai is very responsive on the queries we have even before the stayed. They help us arrange transport and even book the tickets for Forbidden city when we cant get thought the on line purchase. We would like to thanks to 小闫 where she always check on us and help us purchase some necessity even in the midnight. The location of the hotel is great where we can walk to a few famous itineraries like 南锣古巷 and 鼓楼. Train is within walking distance too. Breakfast and tea time spread is good and delicious. Highly recommend this hotel to those want to explore the city with the kids and elderly.

Gubei Water Town: The unique charm and regrets of the northern water town Gubei Water Town is like a shining pearl, inlaid in the northern land. The rich activities add to the fun. Take a rowing boat, and the boatman's call echoes in the river; experience tie-dyeing in the dyeing workshop and feel the charm of traditional crafts. Special delicacies such as Qiaotou Cake and Gubei Baked Pear spread sweet fragrance on the tip of the tongue. However, it is not perfect. The ticket price is high, and the cost of food and accommodation in the scenic area is high, which is not very friendly to tourists with limited budgets. During the peak tourist season, the crowds are surging, shoulder to shoulder, and it is difficult to enjoy the scenery leisurely. Moreover, as a newly built ancient town, it has a heavy sense of artificiality and lacks some of the heaviness and vicissitudes of history. But if you are eager to experience the water town style in the north, Gubei Water Town is still worth a visit. Every corner here is full of surprises and comfort, allowing you to encounter a different water town dream at the foot of the Great Wall.

The inn is located in the center of Shuizhen, not far from the square, Shanshuicheng and the Great Wall. You can go out to watch various performances at any time. Family Room B has one bedroom, one living room and one bathroom. The space is independent and suitable for two generations to travel. They close the door and do not interfere with each other. I like the view of the town outside the window. The food is great. You must eat in Shuizhen during a rainstorm. The boss is kind and easy-going, meeting the needs of different travelers. I will go again.

He is enthusiastic and enthusiastic, which made our stay very comfortable. We stayed for only one night because we had no house. The landlord was also eager to help us find a house. The boss was very nice. Because we had elderly people and babies, he specially upgraded us to a double-balcony villa room close to the scenic area with a view. The boss also personally picked us up and introduced us to the tour guide. The service was very thoughtful. When we arrived, the room had just been cleaned, and we could see the Great Wall from a distance from the balcony on one side.
